Scathach: "Hey! I'm not late am I?"
(Y/N): "Late to what? And who are you?! And why are you in my house?! And did you just teleport?!"
Your mind was afloat with countless questions on the scenario that had just played out. You believed in the paranormal and the supernatural, but this was taking it a tad too far. This woman has literally just materialised right before your eyes.
Glancing up you took in her features. A violet cloak and dress hung to her pale, slender body, complimenting her curves and large bust nicely. She wore a stereotypical witch hat, her long mauve hair flowing seamlessly down wither side of her broad shoulders and down her back like a mane.
Scathach: "Ah! You must be Sir (Y/N)~"
(Y/N): "I...guess? Well you somehow know my name, sooo what's yours?"
Scathach: "It's Scathach, a pleasure to finally meet you!~"
How did she know your name? She looks like she got lost at some sort of fantasy cosplay convention, but what you saw was no joke, and no amount of evidence could disprove what you just saw was actual magic. The whole time you two were talking Monic was sat silent, in a sort of daze. Her golden orbs locked onto the witch before her. Her disgraceful stare was interrupted by the sensation of contact on her hand, averting her attention to it she noted that you'd placed your hand upon hers, your other gently pressed against her cheek.
(Y/N): "You okay, Mon? You look flushed"
Monic: "Heh yeah, sorry about that. I guess I'm not used to seeing purple women materialising in front of me"
You chuckled at her meek attempt to lighten the mood. Your attention was yet again averted by the witch walking around the basement, letting a sigh escape her lips.

Scathach: "Man, what a dump. You seriously live here?"
(Y/N): "We're in the basement..."
Scathach: "Whats a basement?~"
Monica: "You're messing with us right?"
Scathach: "Obviously~"
Suddenly, the sound of glass breaking reverberates throughout the house, and a loud thud could be heard.
(Y/N): "Monica, Scath, stay here..."
Monica: "No wai-"
(Y/N): "No, shut up. I won't put you in any danger..."
Swiftly moving from your place you stride up the steps, not before grabbing an aluminium baseball bat though. Upon reaching the top of the stairs you noted the loud howling of the nighttime wind, and the shuffling of multiple people. Rounding the corner into the living the room the sight before you made your heart subsequently stop.
Apophis was on the floor, holding her head and Luci and Kat were further back, hiding behind the sofa, trembling. 4 masked men were stood above Apophis, crowbars and guns in hand.
Intruder 1: "This is a robbery! Stay where you are and no one gets hurt!"
Okay, this was it. Taking a deep breath you bolt for the group of men. Arching your strike back you nail one in the face, earning a satisfying crunch, clunk and thud as he plummets to the wooden ground. Lifting your arm, you attempt to swing for the next one along, only to be shot in the gut, sending you plummeting backwards, a coldness overtaking you.
Apophis: "(Y/N)!!"
Intruder 2: "Right. Now you know what happens when you play hero, bitch. We've come for the snake woman, and we always get what we want."
(Y/N): "You're not going to fucking touch her. She's apart of my family, and a family protects each other"
As you say this, you prop yourself up on your bloodied bat, blood gushing from your wound, soaking your T-shirt.

Intruder 2: "You must be mistaken. Monsters don't belong with us, they belong under us. They're inferior in every way"
(Y/N): "They're inferior?! Take a look in the fucking mirror pal. You just hit an innocent woman based purely off her species. You make me sick"
The first intruder points his gun towards you again.
Intruder 1: "I'll make you even sicker in a minute"
(Y/N): "Bring it, asswipe"
Upon saying this you launch the bat at him, striking him in the side of the head. Due to the suddenness of the action you had little chance to move as his gun went off yet again, striking you in the left pec. Immense pain surging and coursing throughout, you stumble backwards having taken two of them out.
As your vision fades, the last audible thing you saw was the Golden eyes of Apophis and the distant wailing of sirens.
