"I'm so excited that I cant breathe!" People looked at you with curious stares as you jumped up and down boisterously, panting like a dog. Jirou glanced at the people glaring into the back of your head, and covered her face with slight embarrassment as she hushed you.
"Ah, sorry..." You muttered quietly, to everyone around you, bowing slightly. After their dirty looks subsided and they went back to their conversations, you immediately stood upright, jostling around excitedly. She shook her head, giggling at your anticipation.
"Is it really that exciting to see Denki in a maid costume?" She inquired, scratching her chin as she arched an eyebrow. You nodded immediately, head bobbing up and down. Jirou was simply dumfounded, shaking her head while crossing her arms.
"Apparently everyone else does too, judging from the line..." She commented, nodding her head towards the line leading into the classroom that you two were in. You shrugged, tilting your head. "They could be here for the other boys too," You explained, peering into the classroom for a moment.
The classroom was a commotion of different customers, assisted by the students of 1-A in their incredibly cute maid outfits, hustling to get out orders as though their lives depended on it. You caught a glimpse of Deku in black-cat ears, blushing madly while Uraraka scratched the underside of his chin as if he were a cat.
"Aww..." Jirou said, watching them. She shifted the weight between her legs, turning slightly pink in the cheeks. "I'm sorta excited to see Momo now," She murmured, imagining how she was dressing up. You snickered at her contradiction, and nodded your head in sarcastic disapproval.

Finally, the line moved up, and you got to the front of the line. For a little bit, there was no one at the receptionist's desk. The two of you watched the various girls and boys running around, before someone finally went up to the front desk.
It was Momo~!
She had a nicely tailored maid costume on, that fit her tightly in all the right places, and was snug all over. She had subtle trails of sweat going down the side of her face, and onto her neck. Yoayorozo wiped her face, and apologized before realizing who was before her.
"J-Jirou!" She peeped, hiding her face with the menus, mortified. You laughed as you watched the two of them became slightly shy yet flirty, conversing with one another for a moment. What a cute pair...
Momo finally realized that you were there, and turned red. "A-Ah! I'm sorry, I'll take you two to your seats," She apologized, before allocating us towards a booth in the room that 1-A rented out.
The school-festival was truly a buzz! From your view in the booth, you could see countless, small booths in the courtyard run by students. From food to products; everybody had something to sell and offer up. You enjoyed peering out of the large window, people-watching.
1-A had decided to do a maid-cafe, just for shits and giggles. They turned the homeroom into a large restaurant (thankfully because they had a large budget). However Jirou backed out, and you were sick the whole week so you weren't given a choice either way.
"Do you guys have anything in mind you want to order?" Momo mused, pulling you out of your daze. Jirou began her order as you flipped through the menu hastily, scanning the pages. You come across a large, frothy chocolate-sundae. It had whipped-cream aloft its ice-cream, as well as a nice, tiny chocolate bar to finish it off. Your mouth slightly watered.

"I'll have the Chocolate-Cake Sundae." You ordered, slightly amused by the oddly worded name of the sundae. Momo wrote down the order that both of you gave, before giving Jirou a peck on the cheek and skipping off hastily. Jirou slumped in her seat, melting at the affection.
Bakugo passed by your table in a hurry; you took a double-take.
"Pppfttt!" You snorted, letting a loud exhalation of air through your mouth. He snarled at you, flipping the middle-finger before scurrying off. Jirou watched the whole thing, and simply sat there in awe. "I have to get a picture of him later," She added on. You agreed, continuing to laugh before eventually calming down.
It seemed like time continued on forever; however it made sense that it was taking long considering the business around the entire restaurant. Jirou tapped her hands against the wooden table, creating a rhythmic pattern for you two nod to.
The restaurant was filled with a pleasant hum of people's voices, as well as the clatter of plates and forks rattling against the ceramics. The noise filled your ears comfortably.
The food slid onto your table, gliding from the waiter's hands to the surface before you. The sundae was ginormous, surprisingly, making you lick your lips with hunger. With an exhilarated smile, you looked up to thank the waiter... when you realized it was Denki!
Denki pulled on his skirt, hiding his face with the platter he served the food off of. You put your hands on your cheeks, squealing. He turned beet-red. "So cute!!!" You jumped in your seat, putting your hands on his sides.
"Stop, you idiot." He cursed, swatting your hands away . You pouted like a puppy, not being able to contain yourself as you stood up and touched his cat-ears. Jirou laughed maniacally, recording the whole interaction on Snapchat.
"You're just too handsome, kitty~." You purred in his ear, hand trailing towards his back. Slowly, you ran your hands down his back with your nails. He shivered for a moment, lost in the feeling of your hands on his body.
"We're in a restaurant, you imbecile. Later, okay?" He said, mortified that Jirou had observed the whole thing in front of her. She's gonna bully me for so long, he thought, sighing. You grimaced, but nodded, before giving him a quick, lingering kiss on the lips and then sitting down. He stumbled away, slightly discombobulated and flustered all at once.
"The two of you are gonna make me sick..." Jirou pretended to gag all over her plate, holding her nose. You rolled your eyes, putting a spoon-full of chocolate ice-cream into your mouth. It tasted incredibly good; the chocolate bar had crumbled onto the gelato.
You licked the spoon clean, before sticking your tongue out at Jirou.
"Fuck you, too~!" You chirped, smiling.

Four story anthology
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] [participant in #NaNoWriMo] Preface: This fiction will contain four different stories set up as a challenge for myself and to get better at writing. The challenge for royal road writathon is a 55.555 word goal while the nanowrimo challenge is 50.000 words. Reader suggestions is turned on, feel free to point out errors I missed and I'll fix them up! Chasing sun, napping softly: Cultivation/Xianxia genre. Some parts will poke at the ridiculousness of the Xianxia gerne. We follow the life of a magical fox monster, who doesn't like how the cultivation world works. Said beast seems to have more knowledge than is usual for normal magical beasts. In it's infinite wisdom it decided to search for the main character of the cultivation world to have a cozy and safe place beside him. Our fox will act as a "wise beast" to coast along on the main characters rise to greatness, all for peace, happiness and that amazing napping spot in the sun. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing in first person. Comedic effect between talking vaguely and sounding wise. The cost of heroism: A story more centered around fights and mental health of hired mercenaries/heroes. The world is infected with an eldritch corruption. Humans are trying their best to explore and clear out wilderness and the dungeons hiding in them to establish new cities. Lords seek for hired hands to do the professional work. Thanks to the setting, the story will show how awful pasts are the norm and how pragmatic people became thanks to that. People exchange their sanity for riches, fame and gods acceptance. Interpersonal relationships change drastically and quickly. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing grim scenes/imparting a feeling of how grim the world is. Writing fight scenes. Showing different mental states. Describing their influence on people during fights, walks or even after successful or failed campaigns. Who will be the next powerhouse? : A story about a gaming show, it's host Staan and the different participants. Stereotype characters, stereotype backstories, silly challenges and quizzes. The winner of those challenges gets powerups for their power system. Be it magic, ki, psychic power or anything else imaginable and unimaginable to reach the power of gods. The challenges for myself with this story: A softer tone for storytelling. Making the reader smile and enjoy themselves. A different try at slice of life story. I was left behind on earth as my family conquered another world and enjoys riches, but that's okey because I got a cheat too! : Stereotypical Isekai story parody twisted into an Urban Fantasy story. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing over the top and overdramatic scenarios/scenes Writing in first person. Walking into stereotypical scenarios and making them more dramatic/giving them a twist. Different type of humor.
