Kaminari stared in his mirror with a rather blank expression, trying to adjust his tie. For some reason, he felt that it looked weird and out-of-place somehow, and sighed as he gave up, grabbing his bag. You awaited outside his apartment, yawning as you blinked.
The two of you had been next-door neighbors for several years now, and the two of you were practically attached at the hip. From grade-school up until now, he'd always been by your side and you by his.
However as he grew and matured, his innocent liking towards you grew into infatuation, and eventually a crush that he couldn't get rid of. You paid no mind torwards this liking, thinking he was always joking whenever he implied his crush on you.
Denki finally stepped out after what seemed to be decades to you, groaning as he closed the door. You exhaled, patting him on the back gently as you two walked outside and into the town.
"What's with the groan?" You asked innocently, brushing your shoulder off as you looked down at your U.A. uniform excitedly, a smile coming to your face.
You really did it...!
Not only did you make it into U.A. but you got into 1-A, the most prestigious class in the first-year academy. And Denki would accompany you, too.
"My uniform looks so weird on me..." He groaned again, making you roll your eyes as you turned to him, observing how his uniform looked on him. It looked fine, up until your eye-level met his collar.
He couldn't help but as to avert his stare from your face to the sky, feeling himself become flustered by your curious stare.

"Your collar is all messed up, dumbie." You said, taking his shirt and smoothing it out before fixing the collar, looking up at him whilst doing so. He looked down at you, mustering up a weird amalgam of a happy, genuine, but also nervous and shaky grin.
It made you snort quietly, before you backed up and analyzed his uniform once more, hand over your chin.
"Looks good." You said, lips slightly lifting up into a smile before turning around.
"Oh, you're calling me good lookin'?" He said, scampering up to you so the two ofy ou would walk at the same pace. You barely moved your neck as you averted your gaze to him, a blank expression on your face.
"Literally nobody will find your body." It took him a moment to realize what you'd meant, before he let out a snort and a quiet laugh, shaking his head. You smiled at the sound of his laugh and your face shifted back to its usual expression, as you looked back down at the ground.
"So, you're not denying it." He said after a moment of quiet tranquility between you two.
You... couldn't really think of a way to retaliate, feeling your cheeks begin to redden.
Your mouth moved but no words came out; you simply closed your mouth and shook your head despite the burning blush on your cheeks. You'd never been flustered before, in front of Kaminari too.
Kaminari saw it all; the way your face tensed up and how your mouth ceased to work. It dumbfounded him until he saw your peachy-pink cheeks and almost tripped over himself in surprise.
"I-I guess you do think I'm good looki-"
You slapped him upside the head, hand slightly shaking in embarrassment. He yelped in pain, the tips of his ears red as you crossed your arms with an angry expression, trying to hide your face as you spoke to him.

"I'll say this one time. Yes, you're handsome. No, that doesn't 'mean' I like you." Denki took a moment to process this, feeling flustered but also slightly disappointed as he cheered, smiling. You clicked your tongue, averting your gaze as your cheeks grew hotter, if that was even possible...
Deep down, a part of you felt as though what you'd said was wrong; specifically the very last statement.
But he didn't need to know that, did he?
