You couldn't help but as to shiver slightly as the two of you walked in silence, the cold snow covering your entire body.
The snow below your feet was slushy, making a wet soppy sound as you tragged your boots through the mess. It was quiet; except for the quiet breaths shared between you and Jirou.
It was so cold out that your exhales turned into vapor as they passed your lips and danced away. Jirou couldn't help fiddling with her headphone jacks nervously, glancing over at you...
Or more specifically, your hand.
You sighed, teeth chattering slightly due to the cold. Under your scarf you were blushing intensely due to Jirou's glances that you could clearly see, however she didn't know that.
"So... was this fun? O-Our date?" You asked quietly, pondering why your brain made you like an awkward person when you were awkward yourself...
You didn't mind too much though. It was oddly cute how flustered the two of you were sometimes to you, secretly.
"Hm?" She hummed, clearly not hearing your words. You blinked, slightly confused as you followed her stare down to your own palm.
You lifted up your hand, arching an eyebrow as she followed your arm with her eyes. As your hand came closer to your face, she began to realize how intensely she was staring and yelped in surprise, averting her gaze almost immediately.
"S-Sorry... How long was I staring?" She muttered with a pink nose and cheeks, smiling slightly.
"A while." You said, giggling to yourself a bit as she grew embarrassed, hiding her face in her scarf. After a moment, you began to wonder why she was staring in the first place, scratching your chin.
"Why were you staring so hard?" You inquired, poking her cheek. She could barely feel it because of how numb her face was, but still swatted your hand away with a flustered expression.

"Um, it's kind of dumb..." Jirou said more to herself then you, grimacing with a very sheepish demeanor. Your eyes narrowed with curiosity as you rubbed your hands together, trying to create a sense of feeling in your fingers again.
"I don't mind, just tell me." You said rather bluntly, tilting your head as you continued rubbing your hands.
She hesitated for a moment, and in that moment it was silent. Nothing, but the slushing of snow and the feeling of snow hitting our eyelashes, cheeks, and hair.
"I-I was wondering if you'd let me hold your hand...?" Her answer sounded more like a question for some reason, which made me chuckle. It scared her that I laughed like that, her thinking that I viewed her request ridiculous in that split second.
"Give me your hand, dumbass." You said, grabbing her palm gently and putting it in your pocket while intertwined. She felt herself heat up in the face; Jirou had never held hands with someone before.
"Warm, right?" You asked, wrapping your arm around her waist and pulling her closer as you both walked in the snow.
She felt flustered, but nonetheless... was happy. Very happy.
She leaned her head onto your shoulder, closing her eyes for just a moment as she relaxed into your touch. It was rare for her to melt into your affectionate actions, making you very flustered but also elated.
"Mhm, very warm."

A group of people dies in a plane crash, but their souls are snatched away by an entity called the Highest One, that wants to make them the gods of a new world in order to guide and control its population. One of the passengers, Viktor, protests this, saying that the people of the new world should be entitled to find their own path in life without immortal beings ruling over them.
