"Sorry for being such a bother..." You murmured quietly, a cough slipping. A damp towel was on your head, and a light blanket covered your body comfortably.
Bakugo hovered over you with furrowed eyebrows, cursing.
You had gotten very sick.
He didn't say anything, but simply stared with his arms crossed.
You tilted your head, giving him a tiny smile and an arched eyebrow of confusion.
"Shut up and drink up." He said, shoving a spoon of the medicine you hated so much into your mouth forcefully.
"Mmph-" You forced yourself to swallow the liquid, a frown on your face as he put the spoon down after. The spoon made you go into a small coughing fit, the forcefulness too much for your sore throat.
"Be more gentle!" You whined, holding your throat as the fit stopped. Bakugo shook his head, eyes narrowing as he spoke.
"No, fuck you for getting so sick! Making me worry and shit..." Bakugo replied angrily, before he had realized what he had said. His eyes slightly widened, a blush of embarrassment appearing on his cheeks.
A cheeky grin of realization had appeared on your face as you sat up.
"Oh, you're worri-?"
"Shut the fuck up! Rest, you... you..." He failed to come up with words, blush only growing.
"Calm down..." You muttered, shaking your head with a giggle. His embarrassment was amusing to you funnily enough. He gritted his teeth for a moment, before calming down.
There was a silence between you both as he sat in the chair beside your bed, clicking his tongue as he averted himself from your curious gaze. You snuggled up in your blanket, deciding to try and sleep.
"It's nice to know you worry anyways." You admitted with one-eye open, peering up at him as he continued to avert himself from your stare.
A blush still grew on the tip of his ears, and you saw it.
You found yourself smiling as you fell asleep.

Catalyst: Avowed
The year is 605, and in your home— the country of Corcaea— the souls of mankind belong to demons. A phenomenon known as the "Catalyst" is what's to blame. This diabolical phenomenon lurks within every man, woman, and child. It can turn any human into a demon, if they fall prey to one, all-consuming element. It can be anything. Fear. Grief. Generosity. Even love. In a land where Gods are real and Corcaea's theocracy is the last hope for mankind, you follow in the footsteps of Father Richard Anscham: a deeply disturbed young priest, the leader of the Church of Mercy, and the foremost researcher of the Catalyst. Despite completing a holy mission from the Goddess of Mercy, obtaining a holy Relic, and escaping from demon-infested ruins, Father Anscham is in greater peril than ever before. Ravaged in mind, body, and soul, the solace he begs to receive from the Church of Flesh is impeded by a cruel lesson: the ramifications of a life spent sacrificing everything one has for others. See through the harrowing eyes of a man at his wit's end; through a dark fantasy tale of horror, hope, and desperation. Search for the cure. Conquer your personal demons. Welcome to Catalyst! As this is an archive of Catalyst Quest (an interactive, collaborative story), the prompts that were included with the original run of Avowed have been stripped, and the story is presented like a traditional novel for your reading convenience. If you would like to read Catalyst in its original format or participate in current events, you can find us here, on Sufficient Velocity. This book is complete! The story will continue with Catalyst: Calunoth, just as soon as I am done revising its content for here on Royal Road.
