Hey! I found this artist (above) and I'm loving her work. Her paintings are helping me get out of my writers block so I'll be putting the image that inspired me to make my chapters above the stories from now on. This chapter is pretty uneventful, but it's mainly for me to practice my writing more then anything else. Enjoy!

Peace. Tranquility. It was always peaceful with Midoriya.
You found comfort in his presence.
The two of you sat on the rooftop of the dorms, your stomach facing the sky as you peered up and into the stars. They sprinkled the sky and glimmered, lighting up the dull night. They gave the sky a new dimension of color and light.
He was silent, taking a piece of cotton-candy and stuffing it into his mouth. You glanced over at him, watching Midoriya chew the candy between his teeth as he quietly hummed.
You exhaled, closing your eyes.
"I love you."
The words were quiet as they escaped your lips. The tiniest smile appeared on your face as you opened one eye. Midoriya stared at you with slightly wide eyes, arching an eyebrow as if to question my words.
"What?" You asked tiredly, hands reaching up to cup his cheeks. He hesitated before shaking his head, staring intently with pink-tinted cheeks.
The stars reflected in his eyes. The gaudy blue sky made his emerald eyes glitter with a new fusion of hues.
"Love you too..." He said, cheeks only growing darker as he sat up. He watched as you felt your eyes grow heavy, and closed your eyes.
He nudges you gently, trying to get you to go to your bed.
You groaned quietly, getting up from the floor.
"Night." You said quietly, yawning with out-stretched arms. He simply murmured the same, staring at the floor with burning cheeks. You leaned down to hug him.
Before you could straighten yourself, he put a piece of cotton-candy into your mouth gently. You rolled your eyes, chuckling as you chewed the sweet candy.
"Thanks, Izu-Chan." You said quietly, kissing his nose feebly. Midoriya only looked up at you, managing to muster a shaky smile and a thumbs-up through his profuse flustered embarrassment.

Rory Richardson: If He Had Lived.
Join Rory on what could have been. Taken tragically from life by sudden infant death syndrome. Join in the reimagining of what his life could have been... With a system forced reset of human civilisation thrown in for good measure. One minute Rory was a college student struggling under pressure, the next he and the entire world find themselves at the mercy of the System. Its sick sense of humour results in Rory and hundreds of others going through the tutorial from hell. Monsters straight out of myth become reality, forcing Rory and the unlucky group to fight if they are to have any chance of survival. Those that overcome the tutorial will be thrust into a totally alien world, where might and magic rule and where humanity is far from the top of the food chain. Join Rory as he comes to grips with his new reality, developing new powers and gaining friends and foes alike. This is my first attempt at writing a story of any kind and is dedicated to Rory who died from SIDS at a far too young an age. This story will contain great adventures, epic battles, good friends and foes alike. I am aiming to create a world that will, in some small measure, hopefully keep his memory alive.

The Fall of The Gods
Synopsis: In the year 1966, an army of Orishas led by Sango stormed Amadioha’s palace and razed it the ground, starting a decades-long war between two of Nigeria’s most powerful divine orders. Blinded by the rage of battle, the gods did not detect the rise of a third power, far greater and deadlier than anything they could have imagined. When gods, on both the Yoruba and Igbo sides, begin falling mysteriously to their death, Sango seeks the help of Odion, a Lagos teenager destined to rise from his dark past to become a hero. But can a human hero save the gods from a doomed fate? The Fall of the Gods is an action-packed YA fantasy based on the mythical bond that ties human life with the realm of the divine. It demonstrates the power of stories to change our lives. It also reminds us that Sango and Amadioha are not relics of the past and that, sometimes, what it means to be a hero in today’s world is knowing how to find inspiration in the stories of the gods. PLEASE NOTE: Weekly chapters will be released every friday along with interludes once in a while about Nigerian mythology. I'm a young 17 year old writer and I am new to the site so I will appreciate your comments and reviews. Thank you very much.
