[BAKUBRO POV]
"SHIITTTT" I yell, falling to the floor. "Katsuki!" Ochako yelps, running towards me panicking a bit. "Are you okay??" Kirishima asks, also coming to me.
"IM FINE YOU IDIOT" I growl, still laying on the hard tile. "Let's get you up" Ochako states, pulling at my arm to try and help.
"FUCK. STOP" I wince at her trying to get me up, My god damn it my arm was hurting.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry. Are you okay??" Uraraka yelps, covering her face with her hands."Yeah. It's fine. It just hurts." I groan, trying to move it.
"Uhhhh Bakugou. Is your arm suppose to bend like that?" Kirishima asks, pointing at my forearm which was bent backwards.
"YES. ITS COMPLETELY NORMAL. ITS JUST FLEXIBLE THATS ALL!!!"
"We should take him to recovery girl." Ochako suggests, whispering to Mina. "But she's in Puerto rico!!" "Why is she in Puerto Rico??!!" Ochako squeals, her eyes widened. "It's her vacation!" Mina responds, a bit panicky.
"HEY."
"Yes Katsuki?" Floaty asks, leaning down on the floor. "I don't like being on the floor alone" I grumble, holding her hand with my right arm which wasn't hurting.
"Katsuki.. It's gonna be okay, We're gonna take you to the doctor." She tries and comforts me but there isn't anything to be comforted.
"Help me up with my good arm"
They all three look at me, as I lay there, on my side. Standing up rather slowly, as I mutter come cuss words. "We can go to the doctor but I promise you, I'm fucking fine. Okay?"
_________________
"Yeah...He's not fine." The doctor tells me and Ochako at the hospital. "WHAT'D YOU MEAN IM NOT FINE??? LOOK AT ME. IM A PIECE OF DAMN ARTWORK" I yell, making the doctor raise an eyebrow.

"You have severe damage to the bones Ulna, and Radius. The bones that make up your forearm, and it appears in the x-ray and In physical appearance that you have completely split those bones. It'll have to be Casted."
"So it's gonna be in a cast?" Ochako sounds kinda worried, but I immediately respond after her saying "No it's not. Because it's not broken. Right?" I snarl, Looking at the doctor.
"Oh no. It's beyond broken. I'll get my Casting supplies and you two can have a minute to talk." He smiles, Walking out the door like a damn idiot.
"I can't believe it" I whisper, as Ochako rubs my back with her hand.
Out of all the ways I could've gotten injured, like a motorcycle accident, Or fighting off a villain or Training or just something that doesn't include a simple mistake.
I fucking slipped.
That's what happened.
Now I'm gonna be stuck with a stupid Cast on my arm, looking like a complete loser until recovery girl gets back from her god damn vacation. What are my classmates gonna think?
Do I make up some damn lie?
Do I tell them the truth?
WHY ON EARTH DID I HAVE TO BREAK MY BONE IN SUCH A PATHETIC WAY?!!!
"Katsuki. It's okay. It's only gonna be for a Couple weeks" She then sits on the exam table with me, As The doctor wraps my arm up.
"These few weeks are going to seem like fucking forever." I say sarcastically, wincing a bit as the doctor continues.
"I know. I'm sorry" She buries her head In the crook of my neck as she placed a hand on my knee. Just allowing me to feel some happiness during all of this.
"Okay. Now for the fun part! Pick a color for your cast!" The doctor says way too perkily for my liking. "Just give me green. And not that Fugly Neon green either! Like a Deep green. Understand?" I roll my eyes, hating every second of this.

"Okay! Perfect!" Imma get that color on and you will be good to go!"
"I Can't believe I was so Stupid" I mutter, and Uraraka then uses a finger to make me look at her. "Hey.. You aren't stupid. It was a simple mistake and you're gonna be okay. It's not permanent" She tells me, caressing my cheek.
I take my right arm and place it on hers which was still on my cheek. I just need to feel her warmth in my hand. I wanted to cherish it during all of this.
"Okay. Almost done! Now remember that you're gonna need to come in about 7 days from now to see if there's any problems with the Casting."
"Yeah yeah. Just get me out of here before I explode from my own frustration." I hiss at him.
I could tell I was being a bit too harsh, But let me tell you. That there's nothing more I want than to take back Going to that Damn Arcade. It was a stupid mistake that's left me Useless for anything these next few weeks.
"Alllright! You are good to go Young Katsuki! Just remember, It is waterproof so you can still get it wet and all, But don't go using your quirk or else that cast will practically explode off and we're gonna have to do it alllll over again. Okay?"
"Got it. Thanks I guess" I get off the table and stare at the cast on my arm. Forest green. I liked the color at least, But I swear to god, I'm going to hate having to get used to this.
And if I get any Unwanted attention from it, I'm going to snap. At least Pink Cheeks will try and keep me in my place.
But there's no guarantees.

Cheep!?
Charles Monroe survived the disappearance of his parents, did his best to hold things together for himself and his sister. He survived when she, too, vanished, leaving behind nothing but a cryptic note. He was devastated, but he kept moving forward as best he could. Cancer didn’t put him down, and after suffering through several rounds of chemotherapy, Charles Monroe thought that things might finally be looking up. That is, until a virulent strain of ebola swept through the city. With his immune system strained as it is, the odds don’t look good for Charles. Now, on the bridge between life and death, he hears a voice claiming to know where his family went. It claims that it needs his help and that it can give him a second life, one far away from all the pain he’s ever known. So, Charles answers as any reasonable person would. He says no. Charles isn't ready or willing to die yet. But, as with everything else to this point, even his choice to keep fighting is taken from him all too soon. With no other option but the dark oblivion of death, Charles chooses to make a deal with the spirit of a distant world that's seeking a wild card in its battle against the gods, monsters, and mortals that threaten its existence. Someday, he’ll find where his family went. Someday, he’ll uphold his end of the bargain and hunt beings powerful beyond anything he’s ever known. Someday, he might even – hatch? “CHEEP!?” Things to Know: -Cheep!? Will release on a minimum weekly schedule. -After a backlog of chapters, posting will slow, but in the interim you can expect a chapter a day up until roughly 25 chapters. -This story at times will potentially carry some heavy moments, but the tone is intended to be lighter overall. -There are invisible game-like elements in this story, but nothing so concrete as a dedicated gamelit novel. -I personally have some issues with anxiety, so I may or may not interact with the community a lot. I'll try if anyone has questions, but I can't guarantee that it'll be consistent. -MC is a non-human lead, and will never actually become human. Romance will potentially happen between side-characters, but not with the MC. -MC IS NOT THE ONLY VIEW POINT. I have to put that out there because people sometimes hate alternate PoV's in a story. None of them will be filler, and they'll be there only to give a little bit more nuance and meaning to the world that the MC has stepped in, or is about to be imminently important. I'll try to keep them down, but this also helps to prevent me from burning out getting trapped in one view. -Most of all, I hope that this story is enjoyable to you, and that you have a great time reading it! -Written by Michael Adams, Cowritten/Edited by Summer Kent

A Wheel Inside a Wheel
Two brilliant young me, Reinhard von Musel and Yang Wen-li, are forced to flee the countries of their birth and become refugees on opposite sides of a century long galactic war. While they both struggle to adapt to their new lives, their obvious talent propels them to the forefront of the war. Their choices will shape their adoptive homelands forever, and their clash will decide the future of the galaxy. This story is broken up into volumes, each following one half of the conflict. You can read them in chronological order, or you can follow just Yang or Reinhard. See individual descriptions below. Part One - Speaking in Tongues When Yang Wen-li’s father dies, the only thing that he inherits is a mountain of debt, which can only be paid off with fifteen years of his life. Wanting to escape that indentured servitude, Yang flees his homeland and takes up a false identity in the Galactic Empire, a hyper-stratified society where stepping out of line is punishable with imprisonment or death. Yang enrolls in the Imperial Officers’ Academy to study history, but despite his unusual and unmistakeable talent as both a tactician and a scholar, his classmates resent him for being a visible outsider. When tensions at the school boil over and several of Yang’s classmates attempt to murder him, Yang finds an unlikely ally in the top student in the class: the aloof Oskar von Reuenthal. But Reuenthal and Yang both have secrets, secrets which could destroy both their lives and their newfound friendship. [70k words, complete] Part One (Alternate) - Talking Without Speaking When Oskar von Reuenthal enrolls at the Imperial Officers' Academy, he doesn’t expect to make real friends. The IOA is a competitive place, and Reuenthal has never been well liked. But when a foreign student shows up to challenge him for the top spot in the class, Reuenthal can’t look away. [77k words, complete] Part Two - Life out of Balance When Reinhard von Musel's mother learns that her husband is about to sell her daughter to become the concubine of the Kaiser, she takes her two children, Reinhard and Annerose, and flees to the Free Planets Alliance, where the three of them must start a new life. [129k words, complete] Part Three - Servants of the Pharaoh Now an officer in His Majesty's fleet, Yang Wen-li struggles to maintain his principles in the face of everything that is expected of him. When he's unwillingly drawn into the politics of the court, he has to use all of his talents to keep himself and his new friends out of danger. [173k words, complete] Short - Whatever It Takes to Keep the Body Warm After their falling out, Reuenthal and Mittermeyer are both posted to the brutal wasteland of Capche-Lanka. [33k words, complete] Part Four - Lighting Out for the Territories While his sister has joined the fierce Rosen Ritter regiment, Reinhard's fame has earned him a post stuck on Phezzan. Instead of getting to fight, he's caught up in a web of secrets, including the shelter and care of a mysterious refugee from the Empire. Separated from everyone he cares about, Reinhard is forced to make some unexpected allies, and make connections with old friends. [147k words, complete] Part Five - Serpent's Mouth, Serpent's Teeth After having sacrificed his freedom to save his best friend's life, Yang must figure out how to win, and not just survive, the largest civil war in human history. Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations. Farrien welcomed home millions of troops and warriors with the Archdukes of Aerianne and Kanaria leading them at the forefront. Since the founding of Farrien, the Aerianne and Kanarian Archduchies have been pillars upholding the Kingdom from enemies. It was common belief that they possessed special blood blessed by the Goddess Stecia, who gifted the lineage to the first King of Farrien when he first founded the country. All were ecstatic when the current generation of the two Archduchy's, after the war, agreed to let their children wed. The excitement was short-lived however when the Aerianne Princess proved to be a dragoness among men but the Kanarian Prince was worse than even mediocre. The Prince disappeared and the wedding was shortly forgotten as society lived on. Until one day the Young Heir of Kanaria returned to Farrien a changed man, bringing demise with him. Follow the story of the Chosen ordained by the Goddess of Time as he returns to the past to right his wrongs and set things back straight again!
