September 18th
Sleep was all I ever wanted now. Tom had officially come out with a statement about a week ago, he said he was going to do an interview with Oprah, explaining everything and setting things straight. My heart pounded constantly if I thought about it for too long, I was counting down the days until it aired, only 3 more to go.
I was still refusing any news outlets and media that contacted me, they all seemed much more interested in Tom rather than my story. Which stung, quite a bit, Ro always made me feel better. She gave me the number for her therapist and I started about 5 days ago. It was going well, 2 sessions a week. The weight on my chest was beginning to feel lighter, not nearly light enough to breathe comfortably though.
Dr. Erin was also trying to push me towards talking to my parents again, they didn't even know I was missing until the story and my name hit the news along with Tom's. They even started calling me, but I ignored every attempt, I wasn't ready. "You know they love you." Ro reminded me, we were sitting on the couch with a fuzzy blanket being shared by the both of us, eating take out chinese food.
"Yeah, I know. I'll talk to them, just not now. When I'm ready." I haven't even touched the countless voicemails they've left me. Ro has spoken to them, they called her to try to talk to me, she explained to them that I wasn't ready to talk. It didn't go.. awful? They were upset but she talked them down and they agreed to give me a bit of space until I was ready. That didn't stop my mom from calling once everyday though. I silenced her call and picked up my carton of chowmein. "Still no call from him." I mentioned.

"What an ass." Ro rolled her eyes. "I mean, he was stuck on an island with you for 2 months, practically falls in love with you and now that you're both saved he can't even call to check in on you? I don't like him."
"He's probably dealing with a lot." I defended. "We were stranded on an island, totally thought we were gonna die there and never see our loved ones again. That's a lot of trauma just in it self." Ro nodded, agreeing but still muttering that she didn't like him. "A text would be nice though."
"In just 3 days, you will see the priemier of Tom Holland's tell all of his 2 months stranded on an unknown island. Tune in on thursday at 4pm EST and 1pm PST."
My stomach churned, "Ugh."
"What do you think he's going to say?"
I sighed, "I... I don't know. Honestly. The truth, hopefully. Whatever the truth may be."

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.

I Call It Love (Yandere Boys X Reader)
(Part 1 of 3)【EDITING TO MAKE SENSE】**important** I know this story is a favorite of mine, and I want to keep it true to what past me wanted it to be... But as I re-read this I keep thinking I could've made it better, or it could've been done differently. So I've decided to try and edit/fix it up to make it seem... Better? I hope no one gets mad, and I'll do my absolute best to keep it similar to what it used to be, just know if you are revisiting this story there may be some differences, and past comments could be confusing. Thank for understanding, and I promise that I will try to keep it as similar as possible. **important**Potential Fixes: •Adding time skips such as weeks in between or specific time passsings to make the story seem a little more realistic, and not rushed•Adding more things to flashbacks, maybe adding a new flashbacks but only 1 or 2...•GRAMMAR AND TYPOS •SOME dialouge, if it doesn't sit right with me•Anything that doesn't fit or doesn't match the storycover by: rivila_cher"AH!"
