Hello Hello. Quickly wanted to let you know that Means something big or powerful is speaking. And means something big is thinking. This text means that someone, a person, is thinking. is for when a spell is being cast/the name being yelled. Thank, more A/N at the end!)
<>—————<>
It was day four of the Grand Magic Games, the city of Crocus is abuzz with people. But even the most lively of places such as the bars and taverns don't compare to the stadium. The battle between Gajeel, and Natsu, against Rogue, and Sting is about to take place. Both teams enter the stadium where the game's mascot and referee is already waiting. "I want a nice clean match, and please remember you have thirty minutes!" He explained happily before running off, quickly.
Sting and Rogue prepare to attack but were shocked to see Gajeel and Natsu already flying at them.
The announcer gasps through the microphone, "And to our surprise Natsu and Gajeel are already landing a barrage of punches against Sting and Rogue, if the Fairy Tail dragon slayers can keep this up the match is sure to come to a swift end!".
Sting gets a hefty punch to the gut from Natsu, followed by a kick and then a Fire Dragon Iron Fist, knocking him back several feet.
Before he could reorientate himself, Rogue was suddenly slammed into his face. "" Natsu started.
He lit his hands ablaze and proceeded to fly past them, whipping them with lashes made of fire, ""
Sting hissed, surprised by the sudden contact. "You're strong, I'll give you that, but there's no way in hell you'll be able to beat us!" He yelled with a dark smirk after he stood back up, almost unscathed.
Natsu frowned, 'They're stronger then I thought...'. He took on a defensive stance, and cracked his knuckles. "Wanna bet, I'll turn you to ashes!" He declared proudly.
Sting smirked wider, 'Oh yeah, just try!'. The two Sabertooth Dragon slayers jumped forward, and exchanged a few more hand to hand blows before being pushed back. 'Damnit, they really are stronger then what I was expecting... oh well, means it'll be more fun!' He thought cheekily, a little pleased his old idol would actually be fun to beat.
Natsu huffed, they appeared to be pretty evenly matched with each other, but something was bothering him, "Hey... so tell me, did you really defeat your dragons?".
Rogue laughed, as he snickered he reminded him of what they said on the first night of the games, "We didn't merely 'defeat' our dragons we killed them.". On the outside he appeared calm but on the inside he was less then pleased that he had to bring that up, it was a touchy subject for him.
Natsu growled and bared his teeth, "Didn't you think of them as your parents? How could you kill them!" He barked with anger shining like fire in his eyes.
"That's none of your business; now is it?" Sting snaps back. Like Rogue he also plays it off and boasts about it, but only because of what his father had said. Killing him made him a real dragon slayer, and even if it pained him greatly, it was still an accomplishment.
"" He called out as magic began building within his lungs and throat, "".
"" Natsu counters, ""
The attacks raced at each other and caused a large explosion when they hit.
The light produced from the impact was blinding, causing the audience and commentators to lose their view.

"What's going on!?" A man in the audience yelled.
"Yeah, why can't we see them!" Another asked loudly in panic. There were other screams and loud cries of confusion throughout the crowd, but were quickly silenced when giant screens appeared in the sky, which were unaffected by the bright light and showed the commencing fight.
"Don't worry folks with our crystal clear lacrima vision you don't need to worry about missing any of the action!" Chapati Lola explained over the speakers to the confused and anxious crowd.
Within the arena all four competitors were still standing, albeit Sting and Natsu in worse shape than their respective teammates as both were to thank for the spectacular light show that blinded the crowd moments prior.
"You really can put on one hell of a show that's for sure, Natsu." Sting called as he stretched his arms, "But is that all you're good for?" He asked, sounding menacing.
Natsu, who was breathing hard, laughed gently "N-no, but it's one of my many talents" he said with a small grin.
"Hmm, are you already out of breath?" Sting sighed, sounding disappointed, "And to think, this was just getting good,".
"Hmph, coming from the person using over fifty percent of their power, that's pretty cute" Natsu spit back, although he had to admit he was a little short on breath. But no way was this battle over yet.
Sting laughed before jumping forward, "And what are you using, twenty percent?" He kicked Natsu in the side, sending him flying into Gajeel, "Don't make me laugh any harder than I already am, I could take you at your strongest. You're nothing but talk and light shows"
"Oof" the Dragon Slayers gasped in surprise as they came into contact.
"Hey!" Gajeel hissed, "Watch it salamander!".
"Me?! You're the one who flew into me, iron head!" Natsu spat back angrily.
"You flew into me, fire breath!" Gajeel yelled before punching Natsu in the skull, sending him into the ground, if he saw the hit coming he would've deflected it but it took him by suprise, "I'm not dealing with this" Gajeel growled.
"Hey!" Natsu barked as he stood up, rubbing a bump on his head. He growled and prepared a punch, but an idea struck him before he struck Gajeel. He grinned wickedly.
"What's up with that face, it's uglier then usual," Gajeel insulted.
"Haha!" Natsu said loudly and halfheartedly, but then quietly and more seriously asked "What do you think about using that?".
While he didn't say what 'that' might've been, Gajeel caught on. "What? Do you mean that?!" the Iron Dragon Slayer asked, way louder than intended.
"Yea!" Natsu giggled with excitement.
Gajeel blinked in surprise, 'The idiot wants to use THAT!?'.
But before he could argue, Natsu waved his arm, dismissing any possible arguments. He took the silence as a go ahead, "Glad you think it's a good idea!" He grinned and turned to the blond and ravenet Sabertooth members.
"What, no!" Gajeel cried out, "Get your butt back here salamander, i'm not done talking; there isn't enough room and the crow-" He began but quickly realized Natsu was still walking away, "You're not even listening are you!?"
"Huh?" Natsu hummed in question as he turned to face Gajeel, before chuckling quietly and grinning, "Nope, wish me luck!".
Natsu broke out into a sprint, running from the iron dragon, towards the white and shadow slayers.
"Oye! Salamander, you're gonna be the death of me!" Gajeel called out after him, but he made no move to stop what would happen next.

Sting grumbled something under his breath as he watched Natsu advance towards them, "Hey, Rogue, let me take care of them, for a bit anyway. I want to show them what a third generation dragon slayer can really do first hand."
Rogue remained silent but nodded slightly, "Sure,". He smiled before adding on in a more darker tone, "Just don't kill them"
Sting smirked, "I'll try,".
He turned back to the other two competitors. With a grin he quickly shifted into a combat position, ready to fight with both Natsu and Gajeel at once, only to then notice the iron dragon slayer was staying rather far behind his advancing teammate.
His smirk grew wider, and he turned his attention onto only Natsu, "Ha! You actually think you can take me by yourself?" Sting asked with a mix of confidence and pity.
Natsu made no move to respond, and continued his forward advance, which was answer enough.
"Well fine then, might as well give you the honour of fighting me at my strongest-" His smirk grew into a wide, evil smile.
"" He yelled loudly, and magic energy flared around his body, showcasing immense strength.
Natsu was taken by surprise, nearly missing a couple steps. He wasn't expecting him to be able to call upon dragon force at will. He had to admit, that was really cool.
"So that's the power you used to 'kill' the White Dragon, Weisslogia." He whispered, he didn't remember where he heard Stings foster fathers name, but it came up at some point.
Using the word kill made something flare up in Natsu, a type of anger but also a form of pity. He realized If Sting was going to play rude and cold, he sure as hell would too.
"He must've been quite weak. I almost feel bad for the guy, being weak and raising a son as weak as you must've been disappointing, to say the least." Natsu said coldly.
While he had wanted to insult Sting, at least a little bit, he was ripping himself apart on the inside for saying such cruel things to the White Dragon Slayer. He knew he would've been hurt if someone brought up Igneel like that, but it might've been best, considering what he was planning to do next.
Sting scoffed, and barely hid his anger; how dare he insult Weisslogia, he was amazing!
"That's rich coming from you." He growled as he pointed to Natsu, "You couldn't even kill one dragon when you had three other dragon slayers backing you up! The cherry on top being you were years older than I was at the time when I killed Weisslogia.". He had expected Natsu to yell something, an argument of some sort. But, to his surprise he was laughing.
Natsu jumped above his head and, on instinct, Sting countered whatever attack he might dish out.
"" He yelled as energy erupted from his mouth and hit Natsu midair, and it either obliterated him or sent him flying. 'What the hell...!?'
Rogues eyes widened, but then he quietly laughed, "I told you not to kill any of them, didn't I?".
Sting spun around, faintly panicked, he really didn't want to kill the guy! He would've rather beat him until he took back all of what he said.
"What, no!" Sting shouted, he quickly looked back to where Natsu had been, and felt his breathing hitch, 'I couldn't have killed him that easily, it was only a single roar!'
Out of the far corner of his eye he noticed Gajeel walking away, his panic turning into being anger. Gajeels team mate vanished, maybe even died, and his instinct is to run.
"Really!? You're just gonna abandon your teammate!?" Sting called after him, he scoffed and growled quietly, "Fairy Tail really is nothing like how it was during my childhood, I would ask what happened, but I think we all know. But I need to pound you into the pavemen-"
Gajeel interrupted his rant, "I'm not abandoning that flame brain, I'm just trying not to get in his way when he gets back,". He laughs ominously, "Hell, if I was you i'd do the same!".
Rogue and Sting scoff, but they couldn't help but to glance up in the direction Natsu might've gone.
'When he comes back? What's that mean?'
The Fairy Tail guild was unusually quiet in their balcony, some members had their jaws dropped while looking down into the arena and others stared at the sky with concern. They knew Natsu was not someone who was easily beaten, and seeing him get wiped out in one move was... eye opening.
It was almost entirely silent, but Master Makarov was sobbing, and Romeo, albeit feeling the need to do the same, stayed strong. That's what Natsu would do after all!
"Master," Said Romeo, trying to get his attention. Both the First and Makarov turned to him, "Umm... I mean sixth master! Stop crying, Natsu wouldn't cry! And I'm sure he's fine!" He explained loudly, not only directing it to Makarov but also the entire guild.
Makarov continued hysterically crying and, while thrashing about, replied, "Oh child, that's not the problem!" He cried "Of course he's fine! But he's gonna deal more damage than the thirty million jewl we came here fo- Err, i mean, he might hurt someone!"
Romeo sighed, of course this was about money, "Natsu's strong but he's not strong enough to deal thirty million jewl in damage, plus im sure they're able to keep everyone safe if they allowed a wizard saint to participate in the games," He reasoned, "The most Natsu has ever cost the guild was only like, four million... and that was with his team!"
Said team grumbled some not so savory things, but didn't make a move to tell him he was wrong.
"Romeo's right, Sixth, it'll be fine" the First Master chimed in, trying to calm the younger master, with one of her famous smiles.
Wendy frowned and leaned into her ear, whispering something quietly, and Mavis' smile quickly faded.
Romeo tilted his head, confused from the strange reaction, but before he could ask, the First Master started crying, "N-no, th-this is going to be so, so, m-much paperwork!" She cried out and fell slowly and dramatically, joining Makarov on the floor, thrashing about side by side.
"That was..." Romeo began but paused, wondering what word would work to describe... this.
"Weird," The guild finished for him.
He shrugged and laughed, "Weird," he repeated before looking down into the arena, wondering what's going to happen next.
'Natsu! I'm gonna beat you senseless when this is all over!' Makarov vowed to himself and then proceeded to roll around with First, raising the guilds spirits just a bit. They were crying about Natsus property damage after all, which meant they had faith he could return and fight. But everyone else thought they were done for because of the display.
Back in the arena, before Sting and Rogue could chase after the retreating Gajeel, everyone felt a surge of magical energy, that of which made Gajeel visibly cringe. The twin dragon slayers of Sabertooth looked up to where they felt the immense magical presence, which coincidentally was where Natsu was sent flying minutes prior. The Dragon Slayers heard in the distance Natsu's voice, "".
A bright light enveloped the sky surrounding the arena, it could even be seen as far as a few towns over, and illuminated entire mountain chains.
Once the bright flash dimmed, the crowd went silent for a few moments before screams of terror erupted, some even came from members of competing guilds. Including Sabertooth and Fairy Tail. Above the arena loomed a dragon, a real fucking dragon.
It had black scales, with salmon wings, two fins which went down its back, and underbelly that led up to the tip of its tail. The audience was in shambles, with some petrified from fear and some running to the exits. Some were even awestruck at the sight in front of them.
Considering that it's been hundreds of years since the last confirmed dragon sighting, the entire world seeing one on Lacima or in person was bound for many different, and colorful reactions.
Sting and Rogue were amongst those completely in awe, even though they were raised by dragons themselves they haven't had the chance to see one since their childhood, plus this one was far more marvelous and angelic compared to their parents which weren't all that pretty.
Sting whispered to himself, "Holy crap".
On second thought, awestruck hardly begins to describe the way he felt, he couldn't move a muscle. He probably would've stayed there for hours if it weren't for Rogue speaking up behind him.
" 'Holy crap' is about right!" He whimpered quietly, "I hope it's friendly..."
Sting nodded his head in agreement. 'The magic radiating off this thing makes Weisslogia's magic feel like child's play. Was Natsu right, was he really weak. And if he was... does that mean Acnologia even stronger then him... no, Weisslogia wasn't weak,' Sting told himself in confidence, remembering all the times his dad had showed off his might. Of course, there wasn't actually much difference between the power levels of this dragon and Weisslogia, but it was just... different.
To put it simply, it was a different kind of magic, but also greatly alike to that of a dragon. Which is strange... since that's exactly what they thought was flying above them.
Sting realized that this provided a interesting opportunity... if people really thought, ignorantly, that he and Rogue had never slayed a dragon, they'll kill this one in front of the entire damn world.
He took a step forward, towards the salmon winged dragon. He was already thinking of ways to take it down, the underbelly, mouth, and wing membranes were the softest spots. He was going to do it! He just had to.
He took another, but suddenly Rogue grabbed his arm. He turned to face him and saw a pleading look on his face, almost as if telling him 'No, don't do it'.
He froze, did Rogue really not care enough to try and take the beast down? Everyone's doubts would be silenced!
'But do their doubts even matter...' A quiet, timid voice asked him. Sting hardly registered it was his voice.
He sighed in defeat after some consideration; He knew that it hasn't done anything to harm any of the audience and if he was to exchange blows with it someone might get hurt... 'hell, it could probably kill everyone in the city if I aggravated it' he thought to himself darkly. If it was as strong as Weisslogia, it could destroy everything.
He backed away a few steps with Rogue. 'Lectors probably disappointed in me for backing away' Sting realized, he was making a fool of himself for showing weakness and backing away from an opponent.
Suddenly the dragon chuckled, causing the ground to shake, its voice boomed ""
Stings eyes widened, he registered the voice but the body was drastically different. 'That voice' his head screamed, 'that's- no it can't be. Could it!?' He took a large whiff of the air, picking up the lizards scent.
'No, no! That can't be him, how could it, he's human, that's a dragon!' his breathing hitched as the similarities started to register in his mind, 'It smells like him, it talks like him, it sounds like him...'.
He whimpered quietly, entirely unlike himself. Now he had some understanding to why Gajeel might've ran away... it wasn't abandonment... it was to literally get out of the way. The dragon in front of them was most likely, even if it defied all laws of nature...
"Natsu..."

Mage Among Superheroes
Turlough is a mage. He also happens to be an orc, generally lauded as being less intelligent than humans. He was unfortunately born with the Curse of the Barbarian, meaning that he can’t level up except through combat- which greatly hinders his ability to show he can be a proper mage. In a world with necromancers, dragons, invading armies, and all sorts of other monsters he would still be able to advance quickly, but unfortuantely… that world is not his world. An unprecedented peace reigns across the land, and in the last several decades there’s been little use for people capable of fighting- and thus little reason for people to fight him. So when he sees a portal in his master’s study he takes it, hoping to find a horde of demons or something equally foolish to combat at low level. But instead he ends up in a strange city full of skyscrapers and people running around in colorful outfits. Superheroes- and of course supervillains as well. What dangers and opportunities could await him in such a strange and unfamiliar world? Only time will tell. Inspired by many things in the superhero genre, and Super Minion specifically- though while the setting will share some standard elements, it is an original setting that will hopefully be as engaging as many of the other universes. Schedule: One chapter each Monday/Thursday, approx. 2000 words.
