This lovely idea is from Skynide33!

On with the story!
To put it simply, Alfred wasn't paying attention to the meeting.
I know, shocking, right?
But, the reason why is rather intriguing.
To put said reason in one word- Amelia.
Alfred was the owner of a McDonald's in a small suburb town very close to a university.
Alfred was a young man, twenty-one to be exact.
He actually also attends said college, he majors in business and marketing. He inherited the McDonald's from
Anyway, Alfred was having a meeting to discuss work ethic with his employees, he had these meetings every Thursday, he felt that it really helped his employees.
Anyway, at the moment, a certain Brit who also worked at this lovely establish,he was listing off his complaints (as usual), but at the moment, Alfred could care less.
He watched Amelia snore quietly in the corner of the break room, her uniform hugging her curves beautifully.
He smiled as her chest rose and fell softy, her eyes gently closed.
Amelia was a part time worker, she majored in film production at the nearby university.
"Alfred, are you even listening to me?!"
The angry British voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
"Huh... yeah, sorry, Iggy."
"It's Arthur, you-"
He was stopped by his crush, a beautiful girl named Alice, glared at him.
He shut up, face red in embarrassment.
"Uhh... that's all I have to add." Arthur sat down awkwardly.
Alfred cleared his throat, gaining everyone's attention. "That's it for this meeting... you can all go back to work now."
Everyone shuffled out of the small break room.
Amelia was still sleeping at the table.
Alfred frowned, he really didn't want to wake her up, but better him than Arthur.

He shook her shoulder lightly. "Hey. Hey, Amy."
Amelia yawned, Alfred blushed as she rubbed her eyes and pulled herself into a sitting position. She was so cute!
"Hi, Alfie." She yawned.
She didn't know how much he loved that nickname.
"Hey, Amy, I just wanted to wake you up before Arthur found you."
She snapped awake, her sapphire eyes were fully alert. "Thanks a million." She took his hand, sending tingles down his spine. "Seriously."
"N-no problem!" He said, turning around and dashing off. "I need to do some hero stuff!"
(Midnight)
Arthur chuckled after hearing Alfred's story.
"That's even worse than your story from last week!" The Brit snickered.
"Hey! At least Francis didn't flirt with her in front of me!" Alfred snapped back in embarrassment.
"In no way was that my fault!" Arthur clapped back.
They both chuckled.
Alfred sighed. "Dude, we're so bad at this?"
"What? Beating Francis?"
"No-well, yes, but that's not what I meant."
"If you're talking about French class, I'll have you know-"
"No, eyebrows, I'm talking about girls."
"MY EYEBROWS ARE PERFECTLY NORMAL!"
Alfred rolled his eyes and snickered. "But seriously, dude, we need to think of another strategy."
"Should we form an alliance?" Arthur asked.
"What'dya mean?"
"I mean that we should help each other. I'll help you with Amelia if you help me with Alice."
Ironically, Alfred and Alice were in the same chemistry class and they were lab partners, so Alfred knew a lot of random stuff about Alice. Arthur was in a similar situation with Amelia, they were in a physics class together, and usually paired up on projects because they knew each other from work.
Alfred thought for a moment. "Seems logical."

"Of course it does." Arthur stated proudly.
"I'm in."
Arthur smiled. "Brilliant."
"Speaking of, I got a brilliant idea."
"What is it?"
Alfred grinned mysteriously.
JK, moving on...
(That Saturday)
Amelia frowned.
She stared at her phone, brushing a wavy golden strand of hair behind her ear.
Arthur had texted her, and it wasn't even to tell her that she was late for a work shift.
Brow Man:
Amelia would have suspected that it was a date, but she knew better. Arthur had a painfully obvious crush on her best friend and roommate Alice.
Both of them were so hopelessly ignorant of the other's feelings (but, that would never happen to Amy... right?)
Unknown to her, Alice got a similar crush from Amelia's crush...
(At seven)
Amelia walked up to the fondue restaurant to see Alice standing there in a long graceful emerald green gown. She seemed like she was waiting for someone.
Her eyes widened a little in shock as she saw Amelia in a velvet scarlet dress with matching heels approach her.
"Amelia? I thought you said you were going out tonight."
"Yeah, so did you."
"Did Alfred text you too?"
"What? No, Arthur did."
Alice felt her heart sink. So Arthur really like Amelia. Just as she suspected.
At that moment, Arthur walked up to them from across the street.
He smiled sweetly at Amelia.
Alice felt a spark of jealously.
He then proceeded to turn to Alice, who straightened her glasses, hoping to hide her rosy cheeks with her hand. She didn't notice that Arthur was blushing too.
"I got these for you." He handed her a bouquet of flawless white roses. "Alfred told me that they were your favorite."
There was no hiding Alice's blush now. She accepted the bouquet. "T-thank you."
He beamed, taking her hand and kissing it, remembering what Alfred said about Alice's strange obsession with gentlemen.
He took her hand and kissed it softly. Now they were both blushing like crazy.
"Anything for you my lady, shall we go inside?"
"Of course." Alice smiled, accepting his hand.
Amelia winked at Alice on her way in, making her face red all over again.
The door shut.
Amelia sighed. Now she was alone. On a Saturday night.
How sad is that?
Just then, she heard a rustle from a tree a few feet from the restaurant.
But, there's no wind... She thought, following the sound.
She finally found it.
She couldn't help but giggle.
It was Alfred. Wearing a fancy suit. Stuck on a tree brach ten feet up.
He grinned nervously. "A-amy... hey... could you, uhh... help me down please?"
There was no way she could resit those big sky-blue eyes.
She kicked off her heels, sighing in relief that her feet were free. "Be right there!"
Now, Amelia was a very good climber, she was also very happy that she was able to save Alfred, therefore being his heroine.
"How did you even get up here?" Amelia grinned, gently helping him down.
He kissed the ground, laying on the grass.
He just shrugged.
Amelia snickered. "Seriously?"
"The Hero is always serious." Alfred declared.
Amelia played next to him. "Well, I'm the Heroine now!"
Alfred grinned. "Just the Hero and Heroine... alone on a romantically moonlit night."
Amelia blushed. "Sounds picture perfect if you ask me."
Alfred sat up. "I know how to make it even better." He grinned with a deep blush.
Amelia sat up too. "How?" She asked curiously.
Alfred didn't respond.
He just leaned in, their lips connecting.
"I love you, Amy." He whispered in her ear.
"I love you too, Alfie."
