This idea is from the glorious WeWriteCoolStories.

Since nyo!Belarus is a guy, I decided to make him Steven because all gems are girls. Also, nyo!America is an amethyst. This will be a one-shot about the human zoo. If you don't watch Steven Universe, you definitely should; but, if you're really stubborn, the one-shot may be a bit harder to understand.

Btw, Amelia's gem is right over her heart.

Anyway, enough preamble, let the story begin!

Nikolai cautiously followed Alice (nyo!England- she's sapphire btw), Marianne (nyo!France- she's ruby lol) was sill gripping his arm, sticking to the plan.

Carmen (nyo!Spain and holly blue agate) was rambling happily about the gorgeous, yet very mysterious blue diamond.

Suddenly, Carmen stopped, ordering Marianne to church Nikolai down the chute to the rest of the humans.

Marianne did so, sadly, looking at him apologetically before pushing down the chute.

Nikolai slid down the chute, frowning as they ripped away his star shirt (Steven's usual shirt) and replaced his outfit with one that he found frankly stupid.

Finally, the chute spit him out into a lush forest, filled with too perfect trees and grass.

He got up swiftly, a determined look on his face. It was time to find his dad (IDK who his dad would be, so I made an OC for him).

(A few days later...)

Nikolai this place.

Everyone was TOO happy, everything was TOO simple.

It was creepy, in a way. It made him very uncomfortable, especially since the humans here didn't even want to leave.

On the bright side he found, Vladimir, his dad.

Now all he had to do was escape.

(An hour later...)

All the humans started crying.

Amelia, one of the amethysts currently on surveillance duty, panicked.

Their job was usually simple, so when they saw the humans sobbing, they freaked out and went inside to comfort them.

Sure, Mei (nyo!China: Holly Blue Agate) would be upset, but to the panicked amethyst, this seemed like the best option.

Amelia suddenly collided with two humans, all three fell over.

"We're sorry!" One of them said.

Amelia sighed, jumping back up and brushing off her pants, examining the two.

One was seemed older and rather overwhelmed by the whole situation. The other just looked inhumanly determined, it almost intimidated the full sized amethyst.

"Oh! Right!" Amelia ran toward them and caught them in a very tight bear hug. "Everything will be alright! Don't be sad!"

"Uhh... we aren't sad..." The smaller one said flatly, trying to squirm out of her grasp.

Amelia frowned. "You're not?"

The older one seemed nervous as Amelia let them go.

"Listen," The smaller one said. "We need to go... right now."

"Oh! Where do you need to go somewhere in here? I can escort you!"

"That..." The humans nervously glanced at each other. "won't be necessary."

"I insist! For safety, ya know?"

Nikolai tried to think of a good excuse own the spot, but he didn't have many ideas.

Amelia frowned. "Wait... are you two trying to leave?"
