Hanse's POV
Lying down on the bed while listening to music — this was a habit to me every weekend.
My roommate, Y/N, would just watch kdramas every weekend non-stop. I honestly felt bored not bothering her so I sat up. I was thinking of what to do instead of just lying down all day.
"Hey, Y/N." "Yeah?" "What else would you want to do today other than watching kdramas?"
"Watching kdramas," she replied ignorantly.
"Seriously, can't you do something fun on a weekend?"
"Arcade?" she said not taking her eyes off her laptop screen. "Great idea!" She suddenly jumped from my reaction. "What? Did I say something?" she said. "I thought you wanted to go to the arcade."
"Oh, I said arcade because the guy here–" "I don't watch dramas. So, want to go to the arcade or what?" I asked seriously. "Well, sure, why not?"
"Then, let's go!"
We then quickly changed into casual clothes and headed out.
Y/N's POV
As we entered the arcade, we heard a variety of sounds — the sound of controllers and game narrations. We bought some tokens and walked around to find a nice game.
"So what do you want to play first–" "Hey, let's play this first!" I cut him off and ran to the basketball game like a child. He followed me to the machine.
"Why did you have to run away like that?" He asked with an annoyed tone. "Stop blabbering, I wanna play this," I stated. "Fine."
We started to play the game and he was ahead of me with 23 points, while I had 19 at the moment. I stepped up my game and got ahead of his recent score. In the end, I won by one point higher than his.

"How are you so good at this?" he asked kind of upset. "I don't know. I'm just naturally good at these." I bragged. "Yeah, right. Hey, how about this one!" he said like how I said it before.
He walks to the crane game and looks at all the unique stuffed characters. "You know it's hard to get a prize here since the machine is a complete rip-off, right?" I told him. "I know that. But, it doesn't hurt to try right?" he said.
"Sure, give it a shot."
He inserts a token and starts focusing on the game. He moves the controller carefully, not wanting to make a mistake. When he was satisfied with the place of the crane, he pressed the grab button. The crane got it but it fell halfway. "I'll try again one more time."
With all confidence, he played the game for the 4th time. I thought it wasn't going to make it but actually did it.
"Yes!" we said at the same time. "Here you go." He then handed over the stuffed character to me. I stared at it for a few seconds and took it slowly from his hands.
He never gave me anything that he put his full effort on before. And he would always be selfish about giving things. I don't know why, but I was really touched.
After we went to the arcade, I got to know him, shared laughter with him and opened up to him more. He really was a nice friend to me today.
Who knows? He might be more than a friend to me in the future.

Nexus
Caley Reid grew up without a home or family, an orphan in a system that was too busy protecting the children it watched over to actually care for them. To her, the words “family” and “home” carry a profound sense of loss and longing. She poured those feelings into her studies, walling herself off from the world and her emotions, becoming one of the best students her orphanage - and later her university - had ever had the pleasure of teaching. When she learns that her father has recently died, and that she is now due to come into her inheritance, it shakes her to the core. Desperate to learn about the family just beyond her reach, she puts her studies on hold to follow the trail her unknown parents have left for her. Now she must learn the secrets of her mother’s ancestral home…a home beyond her wildest dreams. And she must discover why her father sent her away when she was born, what ended his life, and what happened to her mother - before those secrets kill her.

Bone Dungeon: Book 1 in the Elemental Dungeon Series
Ryan doesn't remember much about his life before becoming a dungeon core. Only that he had a bit of a disagreement with the church -- something to do with a beheading? Now reborn, Ryan begins to arm his darkness dungeon with devious traps, bestial zombies and ill-named skeletal creations, without doing anything too evil. Well, mostly. Some adventurers just deserve a stalactite to the head. But Ryan quickly learns being a darkness dungeon isn't all loot and bone puns. With a necromancer on the rise and the Adventurer's Guild watching his every move, he must prove that not all darkness dungeons are malevolent... even if they do have a few skeletons in their caverns. Sadly, all of these issues keep distracting him from his own guilty pleasure, skeletal fight club. But don't tell his fairy about that. **** I have recieved permission from the publisher to share the first 8 chatpers of the story, as a sample (I am the author of this book) **** If you like what you've read, feel free to hop over to Amazon and check out the full story! In The Maw Of The Gods
Synopsis Lilly Harper was always the type to keep to herself. She struggled to make friendships and so, she simply opted not to. That was why moving to the coastal town of Wilham didn’t bother her. She wasn’t leaving anybody behind and she certainly didn’t expect to be making any friends any time soon. However, when she starts hearing about the school’s “Magic Club”—a group of weirdos who claim that magic is real, she can’t deny that she’s slightly intrigued. Then without warning, she suddenly finds herself wrapped up with them. And what if they aren’t crazy? What if magic is actually real? And what if it’s because of that magic that something more powerful than they could ever conceive of is drawn to Wilham? I plan to follow a release schedule of Tuesday/Friday. Average chapter length will be 4,000 to 6,000 words and I will be using multiple POV's quite often. Also to note, while I am flagging the story with content warnings, I am only doing so because there are specific moments where it will be needed. Overall, the story will be relatively tame and I plan to put extra warnings at the beginning of chapters that it applies to. Thank you to everybody who decides to give my story a chance and I hope you enjoy it!
