Y/N's POV
Today is my best friend's birthday and she is holding her party at her house. There were around 30 people in her house. Loud music blasted throughout the halls and people were either chatting, dancing, or drinking up.
I was at the kitchen counter, sitting alone waiting for my boyfriend Seungwoo while he grabbed some drinks for the both of us. I finally saw him holding two goblets and a bottle of alcohol. I waved at him through the crowd hoping he could notice me right away. He spotted me and sat down beside me.
"Are you sure you can handle this? It's your first time to drink." He asked me feeling worried. "I'm going to be fine. Trust me."
"Fine. Since I'm used to drinking with first-timers."
He poured me a glass and I poured him one too. We had the first one together and it didn't taste that bad. "Another one?" He asked. "Sure." We then took our second round of liquor and went on and on.
Seungwoo's POV
We already had 6 glasses and yet she was already drunk. "I would like to make an announcement!"
I heard Y/F/N shouted and everyone put their attention on her.
"I want to thank my best friend Y/N for helping me celebrate my birthday. So would you like to go here for a while?" she said and everybody clapped their hands. "Sure, my friend!" she replied in a drunk tone. She went through the crowd carelessly and stood beside Y/F/N.
"Now, what do y'all think are we going to do with this?" Y/F/N then pulls out a pepero box in her pocket.
"Pepero kiss game!"
Everyone kept cheering and repeatedly chanted it. "Y/N, who do you want to do it with?" Y/N suddenly pointed in my direction. "I want to do it with my very handsome boyfriend, Seungwoo!" She said as she raised her goblet in the air, still not out of the alcohol's influence. Y/F/N signaled me to come in front. Everyone was cheering as I walked through the crowd, heart racing terribly.

There isn't any problem playing this game with my girlfriend, right?
Y/F/N handed us a chocolate pepero stick. We then bit both sides of the stick and she was the one to bite so I had to stay still. She was now near to my lips but she stopped for a while and smirked at me. As she bit the last inch, our lips met as we passionately kissed. Everyone started to scream and cheer for us. We pulled away from the kiss and smiled at the audience.
As the party died down, everyone started to leave the house one by one. Y/N was still tipsy after a total of 10 glasses. I was still awake and I wasn't drunk. We left the house and bid goodbye to Y/N's friend. I tried to holler a taxi while I was giving Y/N a piggyback ride since she can't walk properly.
While waiting for a taxi to grab us, she whispered in my ear, "Thank you for a great day today, Han Seungwoo." I smiled widely at her. "You're welcome, my sunshine."
As a taxi stopped in front of us, I gently put her down on the seat and sat beside her as I gave the driver our address.
I glanced at Y/N and she was already sleeping beside me. I kissed her forehead as she put up a little smile.
'What a beautiful day to remember with the sunshine of my life.' I mumble to myself.

Just a few warnings before you read the novel, so you won't be disappointed. First of all, as you can probably tell, I took more than a few ideas from pokemon and the like. It's almost impossible to write a novel where creatures (Iferes) have a major part in, and not relate it to pokemon. However, as you will see as the novel goes on, I tried (and I think I succeeded) in making a universe of my own. I am sure you will like it. Secondly, compared to pokemon, my novel is a lot darker, as you probably noticed by the synopsis. I also try to give a wild west vibe to it, if you know what I mean. Thirdly, you should check out my fanfic Broke: A Clone Wars Tale. Biased as I am towards it, I think it's a great story, and so do many of my readers. It will also give you a glance at what writing style to expect. Fourth and last, I feel like it's only fair that I tell you I am a student. As much as I love writing, my main priority will always be my studies. After all, writing is just a hobby for me, at least for now (fingers crossed). As such, there probably will be interruptions in the release schedule here and there, but, if you followed me on my other novel, you will know I rarely missed an upload, and, when I did, I always made up for it.
