"I'm Travis."

I stretch my hand out to him and shake his as I smile.

"Nice to meet you, Travis."

"I'm back~"

The receptionest said in a sing song voice.

I let go of Travis's hand and look over to her.

"Oh- did I interrupt something?"

She says with a shocked face but still that same kind smile.

My face flushes and my eyes widen at her sudden assumption.

"No! No. We we're just talking."

I quickly explain.

She smirks then let's it turn back into a gentle smile.

"Okay, okay...I have your schedule,"

I stand up and walk towards her, she extends her arm out that has the schedule in it and hands it to me.

"Thank you, mrs...?"

I was about to say her last name but realised I didn't know it.

"Phelps, Mrs. Phelps."

She answers for me, I smile and repeat my sentence.

"Thank you, Mrs. Phelps."

I smile then turn to leave the office, I enter out into the hall and go to where ever my first class period would be.

While looking down at my schedule and walking I hear my name called from behind me. I stop and lift my head up to look at who called me. I turn and see Travis.

"Yeah?"

"Maybe I could show you around?"

Travis offers me with a nervous smile.

"Look Travis, I'd love to. But I really have to get to my first period before I'm late."

I give him a look that just screams 'sorry'.

"Well you don't have to. My mom said you could stick with me and I could show you around."

He continues, but what does his mom have to do with this?

"Your mom?"

I question, he looks at me then his eyes blink in realisation.

"Right, My mom- she's the receptionest and the school's principle."

"Oh- Really?"

"Yeah, she said - well, I kind of wanted to show you around. I asked."

"That's so sweet. Thank you, I'd love to have you show me around."

I give him a gentle smile as he walks up to me.

"Then let's get started."

Travis showed me around the whole bottom and second floor of the school because those are the only parts that we will have to know. The third and fourth floors are for the 10th, 11th, and 12th graders.

It took about an hour and we just finished the tour. Travis now is telling me about people I should be worried about.

"Okay so, there is a whole group of people you should stay away from. Starting off with Todd Morrison, he may be smart but he thinks he's superior to everyone, it's awful."

He begins, but nothing would have prepared me for the two he mentions later on during his rant of information.

"Next, Ashley campbell. She makes your life a living hell if you try to go near a guy she likes, which is like everyone. So, be careful who you pick."

I feel my heart drop a little. What if she likes Sal? Or Larry? I'm so screwed if she likes Sal.

"Now, Neil, Maple and Chug are apart of their group. But those three are okay. Just don't say anything un-called for towards them or to their 'crew'. Unless they deserve it."

"These next two are definitly the worst out of the seven.

So, stay. Away. From. Them.

At all causes."

At first Travis was scaring me, but once he said their names...I thought he was bull shitting me.

"Okay okay, just tell me."

I demand impatiently.

"Sal fisher and Larry Johnson. Those two are nothing but trouble, they know right from wrong; they just don't care."

"WHAT!?"

I yell at him. Blueberry head and emo Larry are dangerous? And now I just said I'd stay away from them. Like that's going to happen.

"What's up with you?"

Travis asks, confused at my random out burst.

"You're serious?"

I look up at him with shock. We both stop walking at this point; now standing in the schools garden area.

"Yes..?"

Travis answers, he gives me a look of question and uncertainty.

"Sal and Larry? No way, at first? Maybe but now? No!"

I blurt out. Completly forgetting that Travis doesn't know I'm (I think) friends with them.

"Okay what- you are confusing the shit out of me right now. What are you talking about?"

Travis finally confronts me on my bulwilderment. I look to him and realise my mistake.

"Oh, right- uh-"

Oh god, what am I going to say? Travis might make me stay away from them if he knows about my relationship with them. Well, maybe he wont. I mean I don't know the guy that well so there is no way he could be so selfish so soon? Oh god, I don't know. Maybe I should just lie? How would I lie? I just pretty much blurted out that I've met them. And that I still proceed to stick with them.

"Y/N? Are you okay?"

Travis looks at me with concern in his brown eyes. I blink a few times and come back to reality.

"Oh- yeah I'm fine."

He continues to look at me with worry but shakes off my uncanny behavior.

"It's just- what have they done that makes them so dangerous?"

I finally look up to Travis still staring at me. His eyes grow them shrink back down to their regular size as he takes a deep breath and puts his hands in the pockets of his blue jeans.

"Oh gosh...where would I even begin?"

Travis glances around the garden; thinking of a good first point for me to stay away from them.

'Come on Travis. Think!'

You finally have this cute girl infront of you, and you can't lose her to those freaks!

You need to think of something to keep her away from them!

Even if it means you have to lie.
