The intercom then chimed in with an announcement.
"Group A, it is now your lunch time, you've got 3 hours of break time." The intercom said.
"That's it for this first portion, see you in a couple of hours." Sapphire said. Everyone began to file out of the room. Kira waited for everyone to leave before leaving himself. He didn't want to get caught up with any of them. They all were noisy and just not the right group of friends that Kira would really get along with. I mean, Kira has never really had any friends anyways. He liked to keep his distance from everyone so they wouldn't find out about his true identity of being a literal murder but he didn't need to do that anymore. Pretty much everyone knew he was a murder, it was the reason why died and why he's here in the first place.
"Ah, Kira. What did you think of your first session?" Sapphire asked.
"It was alright.." he answered.
"Do you like anyone in the group at all?"
"No, not really."
"Aw that's alright you'll get used to them. They are a pretty rowdy bunch and they act like they own the place so you'll get used to them. You're lucky that they aren't picking on you. Poor Diavolo gets picked on by them a lot if you couldn't tell."
"Yea I could tell. Does he ever speak to people or like is something up with him?"
"I mean he's just genuinely shy and doesn't like being around people. Hey, almost like you. Doppio is the more social personality anyways so he's not good at talking to people. He also must be really traumatized from being in that death loop. Just thinking about it, you guys are kinda similar, I'd recommend you go try talking to him."
"I'll take up that offer. He seems interesting anyways. Thanks, Sapphire."

"Aw, you're welcome. Also while we are alone talking you can just call me Chae." Sapphire winked. Kira gave Sapphire a small smile before leaving the room. Kira then road the elevator up to the 9th floor to get lunch. Akira also join him so Kira wasn't lonely. Suddenly DIO approached Kira with a group that trailed behind him.
"Heyyyyy, it's the psychopath! What are you doing right now?" DIO asked.
"Are you blind or something? You can physically see what I'm doing. Now what do you want?" Kira said.
"Oooh, harsh burn there. I came here to ask if you know where Diavolo went? I've been looking around for him and can't seem to find him." DIO said.
"No, I haven't. If that's all you have to ask then move along and leave. I'm not the one for small chitchat so move along now." Kira said trying to shoo off DIO and his group.
"Dang, so cold to me! I haven't done anything and you already don't like me? What a shame! I, DIO, am a very nice person once you get to know me!" DIO said.
"Ugh, DIO, please leave Kira alone. He could blow you up in a instant." Pucci spoke.
"Hmh! Whatever! I'll see you later.." DIO huffed. He left with his group trailing behind him. Kira then turned to Akira who was sitting there for the entire time.
"Damn, they are annoying." Akira said.
"Definitely, DIO is in my group so I'm going to have to learn to put up with him anyways. I'm mildly worried for Diavolo." Kira said.
"Yea, doesn't he have like a second personality or something?" Akira asked.
"Oh, Doppio? Yea, but they got split apart. Now they are two different people." Kira said.
"Huh, that's interesting." Akira said. The intercom then chimed in with an announcement.
"Group E and F, your lunchtime is over, please return to your rooms." The intercom said.

"That's me, I have to get going. Good talking with you." Akira said getting up.
"See ya." Kira said waving at Akira as he left for the elevator. Kira then decided to head back downstairs and just wait out the rest if lunch in the group room. Kira walked down the hallway and over to the staircase. He entered into the stairwell room. The slam of the door echoed through the tight corridor. Kira walked down the staircase to the 8th floor. He reached the bottom step but was stopped by something. He felt the presence that someone else was also in the empty stairwell. He then noticed that there was a small door right by the staircase. It seemed to lead to underneath the staircase. Kira tried opening the door, it was locked. He then just brushed it off until he saw a small space between the staircase and to where the door lead to. He became interested and managed to slip through the small space. He was now underneath the staircase. It was really dark It was really dusty. He walked forward a bit, not knowing where he was going. The area seemed pretty spacious. Suddenly he heard footsteps. He paused in his place.
"Yoshikage Kira?" Someone whispered. Kira shirked at the sound of his name. He turned around to where the sound was coming from. It was Diavolo. Diavolo was hiding underneath the staircase. Kira straightened himself up.
"Diavolo? What are you doing under here?" Kira asked. Diavolo was silent for a minute.
"Nothing really." Diavolo said walking back over to where he was sitting. He basically stuffed himself in a far back dark corner nearest to the bottom step.
"Do you mind that I'm here?" Kira asked.
"Nope... You're fine." Diavolo said.
"Where's Doppio?"
"He went off to talk to other people."
"Not something you'd go do, huh?"
"Nope."
"Same here..." The two then went quiet. Kira walked over to Diavolo and sat next to him. The silence wasn't at all awkward, it was more of just peaceful. Their silence was disrupted by the sound of the stairwell door slamming closed and multiple voices.
"DIO, don't be a *dumbass, he's not gonna be in here." A voice said.
"I know that! But it doesn't hurt to look." DIO said.
"Give it up already! We won't find him for now." A female voice cut in.
"Guess we'll have to do it later!" DIO spoke. The group then ran upstairs and out the stairwell once they reached the top. The door at the 9th floor audibly slammed closed.
"They are looking for me. I can tell." Diavolo said. Kira was confused, why was the group looking for Diavolo of all people?
"Why are they looking for you?" Kira asked.
"They just want to bully me... Whenever I'm alone without Doppio they always come and pick on me because I can't stand up for myself. They think it's funny." Diavolo said.
"It's obviously not. This must be your hiding spot then. Well, I'm not going off and telling anyone that you're here. You don't need to worry, I'm not here to hurt you." Kira said.
"...Thank you..."
"You're welcome." The intercom then chimed in with another announcement.
"Groups A and C, your lunchtime is over. Please return to your rooms." The intercom said. Kira stood up and held his hand out towards Diavolo.
"That's us, we have to leave." Kira said. Diavolo looked up at Kira and took his hand. Kira pulled Diavolo up onto his feet. The two left and made their way over to their respective group room.
