Their relationships start blooming and they meet up with Ronny and Kenny every after-school. Jessica is really happy for them both, "I'm really glad that Ronny is treating you so well I'm starting to get jealous of this relationship." "Don't worry Jess I'm sure something will come up for you too soon enough." says Amber. It's almost end of the year and it's time to study hard so they get through to the next grade. "It's been such a slow year this year really nothing much got to happen." Amber says to her friends. "But atleast you and Kate found love this year you know, and we're so excited for you guys." says Samantha as Prudence nods with a grin on her face. Amber and Kate now start growing closer since they've been dating friends too and they've started a really intimate sisterhood for both of them, so much that at times they lose out on Samantha and Kate's lives because they're always together and focused on the new relationships they have.

Amber and Tom are facing problems because Amber is always so caught up with her life this side and they don't get to call as often and they last saw each other at the funeral. " How on Earth are you going to keep up with both these guys Ambs?" Kate asks, but Amber just sighs, "girl honestly I don't know but I think I should let Tom go because it'll never work out I mean I like him but it just too many odds against us." "Alright babe, but I'm here whenever you want to talk right." They hug and head towards their spot to meet their boyfriends.

Its exam time and now life is even less eventful as everyone is focused on getting good marks and going to the next grade. Ditching all those lessons doesn't make this any easier for all of them. But they all manage to make it to the next grade. "We Made It!!" all the girls scream together as they're so excited that their hard work paid off. It's December time and in South Africa that means it's time to let loose and party hard, but Amber's parents are very strict so as all the others go and enjoy themselves she heads home,and this also means no more relationship for her and Ronny because she can't go out this whole time until again In January when schools reopen. During the holidays, Ronny tries to get Amber to meet up with him. "Hey Babe, how about we get to go out to the mall this Saturday, Kate and Kenny will be joining us too." Ronny was really trying to make sure they do at least meet up once a week. "Well you know I do want to come but my parents won't allow me to go out even if Kate is going to be there. I'm sorry baby." Every now and then Ronny would try and find ways to make it possible for Amber and him to meet up but it failed till they eventually split up.
