《Marinette One-Shots》Martha Romanoff

Martha Romanoff, twin sister of, and only peer who could take down, Natasha Romanoff. Was raised in the Red Room with her sister, well, they weren't really sisters, but because they had the same birthday, and looked similar, same red hair, and joined on the same day, all coincidences, mind you, everyone called little Martha a Romanoff. Not that Martha, or Natasha minded, they were closer than sisters, best friends, forever. Natasha made it out, she escaped without her dear friend, and just as Natasha was out, it blew up.
Natahsa feared that her friend had died, but there was no way to be certain. She held on to the hope that Martha had survived. . . Not that she was likely to meet her again in this lifetime.
Martha, however, did escape. She fled, always on the run, changing her name, and her backstory every time she moved, never staying in one place for too long, eventually, she landed herself in Paris, and took on the name Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and she claimed to be the daughter of bakers who had died in a tragic fire that had burned down the bakery. Even dyed her hair a dark black, almost blue for the part.
She enrolled in the local collage, Françoise Dupont. She mad friends, a girl named Alya claimed to be her best friend, and Marinette didn't tell her any differently, but the first friend she would have made without Alya, was a girl named Kagami, a highly skilled fencer, who could defend herself.
When it came time to leave, she let them convince her to stay, for a little while longer. One day, they were talking,
"Well, I think Iron Man is the best." Nino stated, glaring at Alya in that friendly, yet disagreeing way. Alya scoffed. "Well, I think Black Widow is cooler." Marinette gasped and stumbled backwards.

"W-who?" she asked, her voice quivering, Black Widow was a name she hadn't heard since her childhood. A name, a name she loved, and cried for. The others looked at her oddly. "Uh, You know, BTHE Black Window, Natasha Romanoff?" Marinette's smile rose again, as she remembered her role as the orphaned baker's girl.
"Well, that's swell, because I think Wanda's better." Alya tilted her head, and said, "Gurl, who's Wanda?" Marinette's eyes widened as she realized her mistake, as a former assassin, she had assessed all the hero's the moment they showed up, finding out precisely who they were, Marinette giggled to hide her sloppy mistake. She realized she was getting to comfortable, and that she NEEDED to move on.
"I meant Scarlet Witch." Adrien was the first to realize what she'd said. "Wait. . . you know who Scarlet Witch is? How?!" Marinette smiled.
"I don't. I was just kidding. Oh, guys, I've got some news." Alya shook her head, "We're coming back to this, but what?" Marinette smiled 'sadly'
"I'm moving." they gasped, and Marinette's slip up was promptly forgotten. "Why?" "Yeah, what's up duddette?" Marinette straitened,
"Well, I was going to move last year, but you guys convinced me to stay, but I've really got to move." Adrien frowned. "You'll come back, right?" Marinette shrugged.
"Who knows? Life works in mysterious ways. I go with the wind."
Meanwhile, lot's had happened to Nat. Tony, being the idiot he is, had snuck into her room to play a prank on her, and had caught sight of a photograph, it was obviously Natasha, and someone who looked strikingly similar to her. He smirked, and grabbed a marker, drawing on the photo frame. A fw hours latter, Nat saw it.

"STARK!" she yelled, rushing into the main room, and beating him until Thor and Steve managed to restrain her. "Nat, it was just a photo!" Tony cried from the floor, and Nat glared at him.
"It was NOT 'just a photo' Stark. It was my last thing of hers. It's my only thing to remember her by! You're lucky I didn't kill you." Tony paled, and Steve asked the question on all of their minds, well, all except Clints, because Clint knew about Nats bestie, and he knew why he could never be her best friend, at least, not in her eyes, cause that spot was already taken, he could be a second, but he would never take her place. "Who was she?" Natasha gave a breathy laugh.
"My best friend, my sister, my twin, the only one who could beat me. She was MINE." Thor was still confused, while the others were figuring she'd died. "What happened to her Lady Natasha?" Nat frowned.
"She- the base blew up. They were all killed. There- there was no way she could've survived." just as Nat said that a laugh could be heard from the doorway, and a girl that looked a lot like Natahsa walked in, red hair and all, "Is that so Nat?" Natasha gasped and pulled the other girl into a hug.
"Martha!" Marinette laughed. "How've you been Nat?"

8 151REAL
An ancient hunchback named Finnel is the principal of a school where students’ special abilities might be called magical, supernatural powers. Or, maybe those students’ heightened attributes are more like honed talents any ordinary person could discover and dedicate to developing. Either way, at Finnel's school, even the most otherworldly of traits always finds its source in something REAL . . . in actual human capacities, like intuition, empathy, awareness, strength... REAL is a series of ongoing tales, each centered around an individual student at Finnel's school. Framing slice-of-life authenticity with cool powers and uplifting humor, REAL maintains a light, fun tone while never shying away from digging down deep into weighty themes like identity, connection, and meaning.
