Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Gray, and Happy were currently sitting on the beach outside the resort. Loke gave everyone tickets to this super fancy beach resort. Basking in the sunlight, Gray made a loud sigh. But he was surprised by what came after.

Ryuga: "Ain't that the truth."

Gray: "Euh!?"

Gray almost jumped out of his chair when he heard that voice. He looked to his right to find Ryuga staring at the horizon. Erza, Lucy, and Natsu, who were also sun-tanning, looked surprised as well.

Gray: "When did you get here?"

Ryuga: "Hm? I've been here the whole time."

Lucy: "No no, we've been here half a day and I haven't seen you once."

Ryuga: "All that means is that your observation skills are lacking in quality."

Natsu: "I thought I smelt you somewhere."

Happy: "Yeah, right before you plunged into the pile of food."

Erza: "Anyway, we're glad you're here, Ryuga."

Ryuga gives her a small smile before gazing back off into the horizon. Erza didn't realize it before, but the rays of sun reflecting off the water looked to be dancing on Ryuga's chest. Before she could enter a fantasy, she was disturbed by the look on Ryuga's face. He looked a little disheartened. She could not tell what from, but he almost never showed any other face than an apathetic one. However, before she could ask if he was all right, Lucy beat her to it.

Lucy: "Ryuga, you're making kind of a sad face. Is everything okay?"

Ryuga touched his, as if he had no idea he was making such a face. He let out a sigh and spoke.

Ryuga: "I'm not sad. It's just.. I feel like something annoying is about to happen."

Lucy: "I don't know if I understand."

Ryuga: "Kind of like the feeling of a mother who wakes up during the middle of the night to her crying child."

Natsu: "Huh? I'm not following at all."

Ryuga: "Never mind."

Lucy: "Well whatever happens, I'm sure we can get through it, right, Erza?"

Erza: "She's right. No matter what, as long as we have each other, as long as we have Fairy Tail, we will push forward."

Natsu: "Yeah! Fairy Tail's unstoppable!"

Gray: "I agree."

Ryuga: "I guess so."

The group, except Ryuga, were hanging out in the casino. Ryuga was in his room, talking to his father through holographic magic. Ziminiar was a spitting image of Ryuga, however, he had a rough beard, and one of his eyes had a large scar over it. He carried the same trademark white hair and violet eyes, although his right eye was pure white due to the injury.

Ziminiar: "My son, it's been too long."

Ryuga: "Indeed it has father. How is the underworld?"

Ziminiar: "Our subjects miss you, but they are prospering. Are you enjoying Earthland?"

Ryuga: "Yes. I have met some very interesting humans, and I am still in the guild known as Fairy Tail."

Ziminiar: "That's good. But how are you? Are you enjoying life? Maybe have you thought about taking a concubine yet or something like that?"

Ryuga: "Surely you jest, even my father, who is thousands of years older than me has not found a wife yet. But yes, I am enjoying my life on Earthland. I have taken an interest in a few of the ladies, but your son is frightened about my long life expectancy compared to theirs."

Ziminiar: "Hmm, I see, I see. Although you could bring them here and they could become immortal, HAHA!"

Ryuga: "No one's immortal."

Ziminiar: "True, my son. Your aunt, Lillian, misses you dearly, maybe you should pay her a visit."

Ryuga: "That woman has always doted on me ever since I was a small child. She missed me whenever I had to sleep without her. Consider this my payback."

Ziminiar: "I get that, son, but you've been gone for quite the long time. Maybe you should bring some friends and come back for a vacation."

Ryuga: "Humans going to the underworld? I'm not so sure if that's a good idea."

Ziminiar: "Oh come on, it'll be fiiinee."

Ryuga: "I'll think about it. Enough talk about me, how is your wound?"

Ziminiar: "Oh this?" He points to his eye. "No luck there. She really did a number on me."

Ryuga: "I still can't understand how a mere low-level demon did damage to you..."

Ziminiar: "Ahah.. You're old man wanted to fool around a little, and.. she sneak attacked me."

Ryuga: "She's not even a real demon, and you're the one that always told me to have my guard up at all times." He let a mild mocking tone slip out.

Ziminiar: "Yeah, well it's a little hard to have your guard up when you're na-"

An explosion and screams were heard coming from the casino. Ryuga sighed and looked out the window to find all the residents running away from it.

Ziminiar: "You gotta take care of that?"

Ryuga: "Yes. We'll talk more thoroughly on this matter at a later time. Goodbye, father."

He swiped the hologram away and started off towards the casino.

Ziminiar watched Ryuga end the holographic call, and he looked depressed.

Ziminiar: "Even my own son scolds me." Just then, he had an idea. "Hmm, maybe I'll get payback and have Lillian take a trip to Earthland." His face crept into a wicked smile. "OH LILLIAN! YOU'RE NEPHEW MISSES YOU!"

The sound of walls breaking and glash shattering were heard until a woman with devil wings, tail, and horns appeared in front of Ziminiar. She had silver hair and red eyes, and looked around the room as a tiger looks for it's prey.

Lillian: "Where?"

She looked over her shoulder at Ziminiar. The poor man almost died from the way her eyes looked at him, prying into his very soul.

Ziminiar: "Calm down, calm down. He's in Earthland. I can arrange for you to go there soon."

Lillian: "NOW!"

She yelled, causing Ziminiar to flinch.

Ziminiar: "He's busy with a situation now. I promise it will be soon though."

Lillian: "Fine." She walked off with a pout.

When he made sure she was gone, Ziminiar let out a sigh and swiped the sweat off his brow.

Ryuga: "What.. the hell happened here?"

He was currently looking at one of the Elemental Four, who just gave birth to Gray in a great splash of water. Gray was currently gasping for air, while Lucy tried to explain.

Lucy: "Some really strange people came here saying they were looking for Erza."

The ground cracked under Ryuga's feet, and Lucy jumped back, startled.

Ryuga: Did they say where"

Lucy: "Some Tower of Heaven or something."

They heard shuffling and looked towards the ball machine to find Natsu burst out of it with his mouth on fire.

Natsu: "That bastard shot me in my mouth! People could get hurt from that damnit! I'm gonna beat the shit out of him once I find him!"

Ryuga: "Good." He looked at Gray and Juvia. "Is she a threat?"

Gray: "No, she helped me."

Ryuga: "Then she can come, if she wants." Juvia nodded. "Good, I'm taking control of this team, I assume no one disagrees?" Everyone quickly agreed. "Well then, Operation Scarlet Rescue begins. Natsu! Be our nose, I'll be the eyes and ears. Can you smell them?"

Natsu took a long and concentrated whiff of the air before gaining a draconic smile.

Happy: "Uh oh, looks like he found em."

Natsu: "Hell yeah!" He started sprinting off. "I'm coming Erza!"

The team was currently on a small boat, a short ways away from the Tower. They saw dead fish and birds surrounding them, freaking Lucy out. With the Tower being in sight, Ryuga thought of what to do.

Ryuga: "Everyone, brace for impact."

Gray: "Huh? What do you me-AH!!"

Ryuga teleported the boat, and it crashed into a rock near the island.

Ryuga: "Everyone, strip."

Gray was already naked before Ryuga could finish the word "strip", and Natsu promptly started taking his clothes off. Even Juvia started to strip, before Lucy screamed out with a blush.

Lucy: "What the hell do you mean!?"

Ryuga: "There's an under water passage, we're going in through there. Try not to make so much noise. Water girl, can you use your water magic to allow us to breath? I don't need one."

Juvia: "Sure, and my name's Juvia."

Ryuga: "Glad to have you Juvia."

Juvia created enough water bubbles to cover the three who needed them, and they jumped into the water. They swam for a while until they found an opening underground. When they got inside, some tower guards were there, but Ryuga quickly took one out. Natsu yelled and started beating the hell out of them with fire; Gray started raining ice on them, and Juvia created a tsunami. After they took them all out, a passageway opened, and Jellal tells them that he has started the game. Ryuga just looked at them and sighed heavily.

Ryuga: "So much for infiltration."

Natsu: "What's that?"

Climbing the tower, the team found a room with a ton of food in it. Natsu, Gray, and Happy started eating like starved dogs, while Lucy and Ryuga looked at them in disgust.

Lucy: "How can they eat at a time like this?"

Ryuga: "They didn't even bother to check if the food was poisoned..."

Juvia: "Ah, my beloved Gray looks handsome even while eating."

A banging sound was heard until four guards flew through the doors, all with heavy injuries. Clanking footsteps were heard behind them until the team looked and saw Erza sheathing her sword. When Erza saw them, she gasped.

Erza: "You all, why are you all here!?"

Natsu: "Isn't it obvious, to save you!"

Erza: "No! You must leave! You can't take him!"

Gray: "Who's him?"

Erza: "Jellal!"

As soon as she said that name, Ryuga's demonic features sprung out, and his eyes brightly glowed.

Ryuga: "Who decided that we can't take him? I'll turn this Tower of Heaven into a Tower of Hell."

He walked out of the room and started climbing the stairs. Natsu followed after, and soon everyone besides Erza was walking with Ryuga. Erza stood in the room for a little, with a nervous look on her face. She soon calmed down and steeled her nerves. She, too, started walking with Ryuga.

Sho, Erza's past friend, saw them coming up the stairs and got ready to intercept. The team stopped walking up the stairs and Ryuga glared at Sho. He lifted his hand and purple fire formed on his fingertips.

Ryuga: "Step aside, or get put down."

Sho, scared for his life, walked out of the way, and Ryuga brushed past him. A black mist emitted from Ryuga, and Sho slowly lost consciousness. Erza caught him from falling and carried him to a safe room. Once they were near the middle, Ryuga gave out instructions.

Ryuga: "Natsu, find that guy that shot you. Lucy, go with Juvia to find one of the enemies to left. Gray, Take the enemy to the south. Erza, come with me." They started walking away. "Hey." They stopped walking and looked back. "I won't permit any of your deaths. Crush your enemy with the full might of Fairy Tail, and, if you have to, murder is allowed."

Lucy: "W-What are you going to do?"

Ryuga: "Kill Jellal Fernandes."
