"i'm sorry."
blue flames engulfed dabi, so desperate to get out of your trap. to no avail, he glared harder than ever.
toga cried, grabbing her knife and launching herself at you. you used another cloud as a shield yourself. the fluff and her shining knife came into contact, a slicing noise echoing through the room.
hot tears stained her vision. "i trusted you cloudy! we all trusted you!"
you looked away, using another cloud to apprehend her. "i'm sorry toga. i really am."
"NO YOU AREN'T!" she screamed, tears streaming down her face.
why did doing this hurt you?
you used a clouds to pin kurogiri down, mirko hopping out of the way for you to do so. she smiled at you, patting your back.
"good work. let's get the others down," she commanded, getting in a ready stance.
helicopters roared above the building. you were sure the news reporters were up there, conveying the scene. you were sure your classmates were already blowing up the group chat.
you quickly used some clouds to keep twice and spinner down, muttering sorry to them as well. mirko quickly pounced onto shigaraki, holding him down so he's unable to do anything.
it seemed too easy.
you apprehended the other villains, making sure they were unable to escape your cloud prisons. sighing, you gazed around at everyone and everything.
you caused this.
exhaustion was creeping up. it was still too early.
you stood there, unable to say or do anything. you already apologized. it was all your fault. they were fine with their lives.
now you're stuck with the guilt.
"stop having a pity party." dabi spat, glaring at you. "you knew what you were fucking doing."
you shook your head, walking towards the raven-haired man. "i'm not having a pity party, dabi. do you seriously think, after talking with you all for so long, that i wouldn't feel bad?"
he glared harder. "fuck off with your feelings. you don't care. none of you heroes do."
"stereotypes. society stereotypes villains as much as they do heroes. we're not all heartless, so fuck off with that bullshit," you shot back, glaring into his ocean hues.
he looked amused. "you're interesting, cloudy."
"glad you think so, dabi."
he (finally) singed the clouds around his wrist within an instance. you gasped, quickly launching a cloud onto his face. he scratched at it, giving you a moment to kick his legs.
you knocked him onto the wooden floor, dust flying up. he burnt the cloud off of his face, coughing at his own smoke.
behind you, mirko screamed. a scream so loud it caused you and dabi to wince.
you immediately turned to see shigaraki disintegrating a piece of mirko's leg. tears welded up in her eyes, from both anger and pain.
you shot a cloud at shigaraki, knocking him off of mirko. you rushed to her side, helping her up.
"where are the others?" you asked, keeping a hand on her waist and another pointed at dabi.
"outside. they're waiting for a signal," she winced, struggling to stand.
"what's the signal?" you asked, watching dabi's every move.
"a flare. it's somewhere in here." she coughed, blood dribbling out of her mouth.

you grumbled. "can't believe they'd send you in here alone. go out and get the others. i got it in here."
she nodded, releasing herself from your hold. she hopped out, leaving you alone with everyone else.
their eyes are on you. they awaited your move.
shigaraki stood up along with dabi. you let your guard down, sighing.
"what? not gonna attack? i can disintegrate you in a matter of seconds. you're gonna let yourself die like that?" shigaraki taunted, stepping closer to you.
"will you though? i know that you care about me. we're friends," you stated, looking at him.
he was taken aback. "us? friends?"
you nodded. "lie to yourselves all you want; we're friends."
toga choked on a sob. "you LIED TO US CLOUDY! how can we be friends after that?!"
you sniffled, blinking back tears. "i'm sorry. it was to protect myself."
it was dabi's turn to speak. "tell us then, who are you?"
they were now in front of you, ready to strike at any moment. "l/n y/n. my quirk is cloud. the more i use it, the worse i can't sleep or the worse i do sleep. i attend yuuei high."
your e/c hues pierced into the league. "tell me, dabi. who are you?"
he smirked. "someone whose about to kick your fucking ass."
he pounced on you, pinning you against the wooden floors. the two of you glared at each other, not moving.
shigaraki grinned, scratching his neck. "do it dabi."
toga closed her eyes, not wanting to watch her friends fight.
you challenged him with your eyes. he challenged you back.
he suddenly engulfed his hands in flames, burning your wrists. your skin started to melt, the smell of flesh hitting your nose. you let out an ear piercing scream.
you kicked him in the groin, ceasing his fire. he fell off of you, holding his nether regions. "you bitch!" he spat.
you cried, quickly using your leg to send a cloud at dabi. it hit him in the groin once again, sending him across the room.
you used your legs to stand up, swaying from side to side. the nerves in your arms were singed off, but you just knew how much it hurt.
you couldn't even move your arms.
you kicked a cloud at, knocking him off his feet. turning around, you shot another cloud at dabi for just in case. and because he burnt you.
where were the others? weren't they suppose to help?
they said they wouldn't allow you to get hurt.
something red in the corner of the room caught your eye. "the flare," you mumbled, running towards it like a titan.
you quickly pulled the flag to release the flare with your foot. the red smoke erupted out the door, hopefully signaling the others.
shigaraki stood up once more, sending another glare your way. "i hate you, cloudy."
you laughed breathlessly. "you hate me, yet you still call me that name when you know my real name. something hold you back, shigaraki?"
he scratched his neck once more, blood dripping down from the reopened scabs. nothing to say; because you're right.
he couldn't hate you.
"come on shigaraki. you know i'm right," you cooed.

he frantically looked at the ground, continuously scratching his neck. the raw flesh bled onto his hand, coating his pale fingers with red.
you watched his moves carefully, curious to see what he would do. would he fight you? would he kill you?
you heard dabi grunt beside you, struggling to sit up. your gaze shifted to the raven-hair male. he stared up at you, his face red with anger.
"how're those arms, cloudy?" he taunted, sinisterly smirking at you.
"they're doing great! how's that dick of yours? surprised you could even feel it," you mocked.
he grabbed your left ankle and set it ablaze. you screamed again, collapsing to the ground. he smiled, his fiery hand trailing up your leg.
your jeans were on fire.
he trailed up your shins and calves, the blue flames engulfing your entire leg. he slowly trailed up to your thigh, enjoying the screams that came from you.
quickly, you kicked him in the face. he released his grip and you sent another cloud to his groin and face.
you summoned another cloud and pat yourself down, the fire ceasing. you left leg was now charred (and most likely immobile).
coughing, you tried your best to sit up and get a better look at it. you were missing half of your jeans, your underwear peaking from underneath it. it didn't even matter though. one leg and both arms were now completely charred.
and not a single hero in sight.
shigaraki started to cackle. you turned your body and stared at him, wondering what the fuck was so funny. even as you stared, he continued to laugh. as if your pain was the funniest thing to him.
"no heroes to save you now, eh? how does it feels to have no one save you as you're in pain? as you're in need of rescuing? even after so many signs you sent, you're left alone in pain," he mocked, squatting down in front of you. "what's it like, hm?"
you threw another cloud at him. "you act like my life is 'oH sO peRfeCt'," you scoffed, trying your best to use your stable leg to stand up.
"i came here to figure out your side of the story. there's two sides to every story, so i came to find out all of yours. i wanted to know what drove you guys to become villains. was it bullying? was it abandonment? was it abuse in a household? or was it all of that?
"how would you know if someone else didn't experience it? for example, a hero? or a hero in training? you wouldn't, because you didn't choose to find out. i did. i wanted to know. yet here i am, 3/4's of me charred and almost immobile." finally, you stood up, wobbling a little.
shigaraki's eyes danced across your figure. maybe you were right. he doesn't know your story.
what stories does he know? did he even know his friends stories?
dabi scoffed, standing up. you also steadied yourself, putting all your weight on your right leg.
"quit your bullshit of a sob story," he growled, his eyes taunting staring at your charred figure.
"is it bullshit though? you think you're so mysterious dabi, or is that even your real name?" you shot back, e/c hues burning into him.
he halted his movements, eyes widening. "you don't know who i am."
you chuckled. "do you want to test that, todoroki?"
before he could lunge at you, a sharp pain was felt in your right shoulder. you gasped, blood trickling down the wound. you felt your body lunge forward, almost knocking you off balance.
you turned your head, finding toga hysterically crying with a knife in her hands. she huffed, her shoulders moving with every breath.
"you betrayed us, cloudy. i can't ever forgive you!" she screamed.
she rushed at you; knife in hand. you swiftly moved to the side, barely dodging her attack. the blade inside of your shoulder moved with your movements, causing you to hiss in pain.
"did i actually betray you though? i never hurt you guys. i only restrained your movements!" you shouted. "i want to see who you guys truly are!"
"watch out, your savior complex kicking in," dabi taunted, shooting a beam of fire.
you blocked the attack with a wall of clouds. "watch out, you're being outsmarted by a kid."
he shot a glare, sending another wave of fire. you blocked it once more, snickering. "you can't use the same move twice."
"watch me."
another wave of fire. another block. more fire. more blocking.
whilst you were distracted, toga lunged at you with her knife. it became lodged into your other shoulder, earning another scream from your lips.
your screamed was interrupted with coughing, blood emerging from your mouth and onto the floor. your blood.
where were the others?
toga crashed to the floor, hysterically sobbing. she mumbled "i'm sorry" underneath her breath multiple times, rocking herself back and forth.
she looked more broken than you.
you hushed her gently, getting down on the ground whilst wincing in pain in front of her. "it's okay," you cooed. "you're okay, toga."
she lifted her hands from her face, stunned. tears poured out of her eyes. "why are you forgiving me?! i stabbed you. twice!" she choked.
you smiled gently. "it's self defense. you're okay."
"i'm sorry," she mumbled, choking on her tears.
you shook your head. "it happens."
shigaraki and dabi stared at you, appalled. twice let out a laugh in the background. spinner chuckled beside twice.
there was a sudden swooshing noise behind you. "youre the only person so i've met that has told someone who just stabbed them that it just happens."
everyone stopped their noises. you turned around, finding a guy with a mask over his face and a top hat on his head. a magician.
"nice to see you too, mr. compress,. deciding to join the festival late?" you greeted, stumbling to get on your feet.
he stared at you. "welcome, cloudy. the festival is only beginning, and it seems like you've made quite the ruckus, yeah? i'm gonna have to ask you if you can be removed from the show, peacefully."
you shot him a look. "and why should i do that, magic man?"
two figures appeared in front of you, tied up together with rope. they had blindfolds over their eyes and their hands tied behind them. the female had long dark red hair with s/c skin. the male had h/c with
s/c skin as well.
then, you gasped. you knew these people.
they're your parents.
