But let me tell you kittens something about this chapter before you read it. It was officially one of the HARDEST chapters I have written!!! Cause of flipping spiky penguin haired Yusei's deck!!! I have searched a lot of websites, looked at a real life structure deck I have of his, and even played most of the 5Ds games to parts where I can duel him and there was still no set list on his cards! Come on boy!!! And when I did get a lot of cards written down, his cards are just weird let me tell ya! But yeah that's one of the reasons why this chapter was fun yet might also suck. Also cause his personality is hard to get right so I hope none of you think Yusei is OOC and I kinda got his dueling style right! Most likely not really hehehe...

Last time on Yugioh 5Ds Lost Memories! Luna took a one way trip to crazy town AKA my mind! There she realized that apparently the match between Trickster and I cause my mind, soul, or something to go to sleep and if Yusei doesn't help me if we duel I could end up staying like that forever! Talk about pressure. But apparently he has to defeat Akiza first. Which luckily he did while trying to gain her trust and see that he's her friend, and nearly after she destroyed most of the stadium, I say it might've worked out pretty well! Let's just hope he can now save me before I'm forever a prisoner in my mind!

"Ladies and gentlemen!!!! It is here and it is time! Grab your popcorn and grab your seats!! Soon the finals will commence and this will definitely be a match you don't wanna miss! It's against the fiery blonde of the Moon and the shining star of Satellite, Cat Simmons versus Yusei Fudo! Then the winner of this match will face off in the finale of going against our own King Jack Atlas! We can only anticipate who will win! So be prepared!" The MC announced as people began to already fill the stadium.

Yusei was in his garage tuning his duel runner, but his thoughts kept plaguing his mind. 'I have to face off against Cathy... If I don't defeat her then not only will I lose not only my best friend, but also a chance to save my other friends.' He thought looking at the picture of Blitz, Nervin, Tank, and Rally.

He gripped the wrench harder till a voice came from the entry way, "Yusei?" He looked up to see Sakura there with Tanner and the others.

"You ready for your match?" Tanner asked him while they all stepped inside.

The duelist could only nod and stood up. "As ready as I'll ever be. But I have no other choice. I need to do this."

"You can do it Yusei." Luna said to him trying to be encouraging.

"That's right! You'll win and save Cathy!" Leo cheered giving him a thumbs up with Dexter nodding.

"And even though Cathy is seriously strong and she probably knows your deck since you two have been friends since childhood-" Yanagi tried till Tanner interrupted.

"She has amnesia Gramps. So we don't have to worry about that."

Sakura nodded as she limped to sit on the couch and watch the replays they were showing of Cathy's matches. "Even if she doesn't remember, Cathy is a strong competitor. Her deck won't be easy to beat."

"Sakura's right. Do you think you can beat it Yusei?" Dexter asked nervously.

Yusei though just kept silent while also watching the replays. He knew he faced off against Cathy in Satellite plenty of times and has definitely won a majority, but this wasn't the same girl he knew. She was dueling much more harder and more strategically. He thought going against Akiza was hard but this might be the most difficult match yet.

"It's time for the match! Will Yusei Fudo and Cat Simmons please head to the arena!" The speakers announced as everyone looked at Yusei who got his duel disk ready.

"You've got this Yusei." Tanner encouraged patting his shoulder.

"We'll be cheering you on from the stands!" Yanagi said as well grinning.

Leo chuckled and added, "well we'll also be cheering for Cathy but mostly you! Cause you're gonna snap her back in her senses!"

"Yusei," he looked down to Luna who smiled. "Please bring her back."

He nodded and smiled a little back. "I promised I would." And with that said he walked out of the garage to the arena.

Sakura got back up with the help of Tanner as she took his arm. "Think he'll win?" She asked him stabling herself.

"Of course he will. Trust me he's gonna try his hardest." He answered though it made the girl chuckle lightly.

"Now you sound like you've got a connection with him." She joked using his words when the black haired male said Cathy and Akiza were gonna win their matches.

The taller man shrugged smiling, "well it's probably intuition. Let's get to our seats to watch." She nodded while they all began to leave the garage together to head to the stands to watch.

Luna though looked back behind her to see the younger spirit of Cathy sitting on Yusei's duel runner smiling. "Soon. It will all be over! We'll be free~!" She said almost in a singing song voice before shattering into the green shards.

Yusei stood on the rising platform, ready for it to lift him up into the field. He looked at his cards in his duel disk seriously. 'There's too much riding on this one match for me to fail. I hope you're happy about this Goodwin. You threaten my friends and now forcing me to go against Cathy.'

Suddenly the platform began to rise slowly snapping him out his thoughts. He put his arm down as the MC began to announce him. "He's the Satellite star shooter, give a round of applause to, Yusei Fudo!!!"

The crowd was a mix of boos and cheers, yet most of the cheers were directed at them wanting him to defeat the Witch 2.0. He understood the anger Cathy felt when the treated Akiza like this and wanted them to stop talking that way about the megenata streaked girl. Yet he stayed silent and kept his cool.

"Now here's his competitor! She's the Queen of the night sky shining like the moon, give it up for, Cat Simmons!!!" Yusei watched as the platform across the field from him rose up as the spotlights moved to it.

There now rising was who he knew was Cathy Sullivan judging by the yellow and pink hair sticking out through the hood of her cloak. She looked mysterious with the cloak covering herself and the hood way down that he couldn't see her eyes or even half her face.

The crowd was now mostly booing at Cathy calling her names and yelling at her. "Get that freak out of here!"

"We don't need any more casualties monster!"

"Disqualify her!" They began chanting louder.

Yusei took notice that Cathy's body stiffened and began to take in heavier breathes. 'She can still feel their emotions. I have to make this duel quick to get her out of here.'

Watching up above in the tower, Goodwin stood next to Lazar as they smiled down at the competitors. "I'm surprised Director. Even after Akiza's loss, the Arcadia Movement still allowed Ms Simmons to duel." Lazar said chuckling.

"Well of course they would. They oppose us and the things we do. If there is any chance of them getting to us, they will take it." He said before looking back at Jack. "She may be apart of them, but this girl will most likely lead us to something big."

"What more do you want with her Goodwin?" Jack asked glaring a little at the man with his arms folded. "You already know that Yusei, the Black Rose, the little girl and I are all signers. What more is there for her? Just let her go and you will get your match with Yusei and me."

Goodwin pulled up a hologram of the same graphs that Zigzix showed him and sent them to Jack who looked at them and the small replays of the much more golden blond girl's matches. "While that may be true Jack, but the readings that Zigzix has found is just too interesting to not try and tap into again. Besides, Yusei may bring out this power to its peak. And wouldn't you want him to face you in an honorable way?"

Jack stared at the readings then looked at Cathy gripping his hands in a fist. 'Yusei, don't go soft on her. Although it would be quite an interesting match to face against Cathy, our dragons must fight. So that way I can prove to you who's the better duelist.'

"Are our both duelists ready?!" The MC asked while the two teens turned on their duel disks. "Alright!!! This is it folks!! Ready! Set!"

"Duel!" Cathy and Yusei said as the match begun.

The two drew their five cards and looked at their hands to find their strategies. "I'll go first." Yusei said drawing his next card. Cathy just stood there silent looking at him. "I place two cards face down and then place one monster face in defense mode. Then I'll end my turn."

"Draw." Cathy said in a monotone voice. Though it gave a small bit relief that it was actually her voice. "Summon Moonlight Princess."

The princess with short blue hair appeared on the field and looked at Yusei dead in the eyes. Her eyes were a bit soulless and the crescent gem on her small tiara was no longer its usual color but dark purple.

"Attack his face down." Moonlight Princess charged at Yusei's face down monster then pulled out a giant paper fan and smacked the spot where his monster was. Yet right when it appeared, a giant rock monster held against the fan grunting.

"Once per turn of my Fortress Warrior would be destroyed by battle, he can block it and stay on the field!" Yusei announced while Princess drew back onto Cathy's side of the field. She looked unfazed and took a card from her hand and placed it down.

"End with two facedowns." She said emotionlessly as Yusei drew his next card.

"My turn." He looked at his hand then back at Cathy almost hesitating.

Luna sitting in the stands took notice this as did the others. "Why is he holding back?!" Leo asked kind of worried.

"Think about it Leo, this is his best friend who was dragged into this tournament." Dexter answered his friend as Sakura nodded.

"She may not be herself at the moment, but he hasn't seen her in a while. It must be difficult on him."

"Poor sonny. They're both just so young." Yanagi chimed in sighing.

Tanner crossed his arms looking down at Yusei. "Let's just hope he can get through it cause I have a feeling that Cathy won't be the one holding back at all."

"I summon Genex Neutron in attack mode." Yusei said as a tall metal robot was summoned. He took in a deep breath knowing this would most likely hurt her. "Genex Neutron attack her Moonlight Princess!"

The robotic monster charged at Princess and raised its fist to hit. "Activate trap." Cathy's voice said. "Lunasphere. Sending one Moonlight monster from my deck to the graveyard, Moonlight Princess isn't destroyed." The facedown card on her field flipped up when she placed a card in her graveyard and as a Princess was protected in a glass sphere right when the Genex Neutron hit it.

The shockwave of the hit though flew back to the blonde but she just stood there unfazed.

"I end my turn. Since I ended, Genex Neutron's ability activates. I can add one machine type tuner monster from my deck to my hand." He said adding the specific card he wanted.

Cathy drew her next card right when he ended. "Summon Moonlight Knight in attack mode." Suddenly a lean woman in silver and dark blue armor appeared. She had a metal skirt with metal boots and her black hair was tied back in a braid. At her side was a slim sword and she swished her white cape. On her sword handle was a carved crescent moon but a dark purple gem. Knight is a Level 3 monster with 1400 and 1200 .

"Activate ability. I have Moonlight Princess on my field, so I can add one Moonlight King or Moonlight Queen from my deck to my hand." Knight raised up her sword as a card in Cathy's deck glowed and she picked it up. "Now activating second facedown, Royal Herald. I have Moonlight Princess on my field so I can summon Moonlight King in attack mode."

In a bright flash of light the King stepped onto the field with a commanding presence. Yusei held his ground knowing exactly what she was planning. "Moonlight King, attack Genex Neutron." The tall bearded man drew his sword and charged at Yusei's monster slashing at him. It groaned before shattering and the force pushed at Yusei a bit while he held his arms up in defense.

"Moonlight Princess, attack his Fortress Warrior." She announced while the blue haired girl did what she did last time and charged with a giant fan.

"I'm activating his special ability again! He won't be destroyed by this attack!" Yusei called out while his monster defended against the assault.

"But he will be by this, Moonlight Knight, finish the attack." The tall woman came from behind Princess and went under the shield Fortress Warrior had to stab him right through the chest.

"Oh no! He's wide open!" Yanagi said worried panicking.

"Yusei better think up something fast to protect himself on her next turn." Tanner said worried while Sakura fidgeted with her kimono sleeve cheering for him with the kids.

Yusei took in a deep breath when his turn started. "I draw!" Then realization hit him. "Cathy, I know you're seeing this. Cause you didn't activate Moonlight King's ability."

Leo looked really confused and tilted his head, "uh what does he mean?"

"Well I've been trying to find anything about Cathy's Moonlight deck, it's apparently so rare no body knows that much about it, but there have been a few data on it." Dexter explained fixing his glasses. "One of Moonlight King's ability is Cathy can sacrifice 1000 life points to destroy one monster on Yusei's field."

"So you're saying that Cathy could've destroyed either one of his monsters and she would have enough room to attack him directly?" Sakura asked to clarify on what the smart boy was saying.

"Um what if she forgot?" Yanagi asked looking at him.

Tanner chuckled trying to lighten a little of the mood, "this is Cathy. She might've." He joked a little but earning a playful eye roll from the purplette who lightly smacked his arm.

Luna, still listening and watching the two on the field, shook her head and had hope in her eyes. "No... Cathy has to be realizing she's dueling him."

Yusei looked at his cards and knew his next move. "You have to wake up Cathy. And I'm gonna help you!" He called out to her but she looked like she didn't flinch at his words. "By sending a monster from my hand to the graveyard I can special summon Quickdraw Synchron!"

The tiny metal cowboy monster appeared onto the field as he twirled his gun. "I'm now going to normal summon Sonic Warrior in attack mode as well." The teal machine looking monster went right next to Quickdraw Synchron ready. "Now I'm activating Quickdraw's special ability. I can substitute him as any Synchron tuner monster I need, and I'm choosing Nitro Synchron."

Quickdraw twirled the gun in his hand when a transparent version of Nitro Synchron's card appeared and he shot through it while he and Sonic Warrior glowed. "Now I'll tune my two monsters to synchro summon Nitro Warrior!" Once the two monsters turned into the rings and stars, Nitro Warrior flew onto the field ready.

Cathy looked up at the monster even if her eyes weren't visible, but it was noticeable that her jaw clenched a little at the sight at him.

"I have to get through to her. I'm sorry Cathy..." Yusei said to himself as he looked at a facedown card on his field. "Nitro Warrior will attack your Moonlight King."

The bigger monster's cannon on him fired as he flew to King at a high speed and then punched him, shattering him in shards. The shockwave flew to Cathy and she immediately placed a hand on her heart when her monster was destroyed.

"Im now activating my equip spell card, Junk Barrage, and equipping him to Nitro Warrior. Since he destroyed your Moonlight King, you take damage equal to half his attack points." Yusei said watching as Nitro Warrior charged to Cathy and took out more of her life points.

"Gah!!" The blond was push back a little and squeezed her chest tighter taking in shallow breaths.

"Cathy, are you okay?" Yusei asked concerned wishing he could see her whole face. But after a few seconds she stood straight back up, yet there was now something dark in her posture.

"Are you finished?" She asked no longer monotone without emotions but annoyed. He kept calm and nodded. "Good. Draw."

Cathy looked at her cards and almost begun shaking with small pants coming from her mouth. She tried to keep a calm composure but the pounding in her head was becoming harder to ignore. It was as if two things were ripping her mind in half.

"Cathy. Listen. This isn't you. You're not like this and are being brainwashed." She looked up at Yusei who looked at her with a serious look. "Please you have to wake up or it'll get worse."

"Shut up! She's gone!" Her voice spat back but if heard closely, there was a second voice to it that was deeper. "I'm playing two cards facedown and summoning a monster facedown defense position. I'm ending my turn by switching all my monsters in defense mode."

"Looks like the fire in our blond's eyes is just sparking! But she's going on the defense! Does she fear the awesome power so far from Satellite's shooting star?!" The MC announced but she just looked at a specific facedown she placed.

"Just you wait." She mumbled while Yusei drew his next card.

He knew she was planning something but didn't know exactly what. "I'm placing another facedown card and now summoning a monster in defense mode."
