: yes! Cause updating at 4 am is totally sane!! Ugh but this actually took a while but was pretty fun to do! And once again, I'm so sorry for the late update but it's getting better! Anywho! I hope you all like this chappie, even if it might suck. It's basically Yusei vs Akiza and I tried to shorten it and add things to make it interesting and different considering you all could basically go and rewatch the episode! I do not own Yugioh 5Ds, the characters, or cards. Italicized words are cards and the MC. And the chapter picture will make sense in the chapter of course lol! And was drawn a long time ago based off a base. I do not own Yugioh 5ds! Just Cathy, the OCs and the made up cards! Hope huh enjoy!
Last time on Yugioh 5Ds Lost Memories! So apparently I'm no longer myself at the moment! Ever since my match with Trickster, and then Pinky was destroyed, I've lost all sense of humanity and now I'm just a puppet for Señor Swoops! And I can't do nothing about it! But I guess the ghost of Pinky has been trying to get the others to help. But bad timing cause now Yusei needs to face against Akiza! I want both of them to win, but I'm not myself to exactly cheer for them... Or maybe not!
Luna ran around the halls looking for that spirit. She knew it was leading her somewhere, but she could only wonder where.
"Luna!" She heard the voice once more. Looking around more Luna turned and saw the girl spirit around her age looking at her. "Help!" The young teal haired girl couldn't help but think that this girl also looked a bit like Cathy, yet younger.
She ran to her as fast as she could but the spirit then shattered into green shards when she got closer. "Where are you?" Luna said to her stopping and panting out of breath.
"Here!" She faced ahead to see that there was nothing around her but a white door.
'Her voice came through there, I know it.' Luna thought walking cautiously to the door. When stepping closer, she could hear more voices coming through it. They weren't just of the girl, but also other people and noises. Slowly getting closer, Luna placed her hand on the handle, and just as she turned and opened it she fell through it!
Screaming as she fell into the dark room, Luna cried out for help, until there was suddenly a familiar voice. "Child!"
She opened her eyes and looked to see Moonlight Angel. He flew up to Luna and caught her in his arms. The small girl panted and looked up at him surprised, "Moonlight Angel? But how? Are we-"
Angel shook his head and began to fly slowly down, "we are not in the Spirit World, child. We are in a place much more tainted and shrouded in darkness." Luna looked around herself noticing now all the inky black webs and vines around the place. They looked very similar to the ones that appeared in Cathy's match. "We are in my mistress' mind."
The small girl gasped and looked back up at him, "Cathy's mind?! How?"
"I believe that whatever little humanity that wants to be saved brought you here." He told her before looking down at Luna and gave a sad smile. "We could really use your help..."
She only nodded as he flew faster to somewhere, avoiding the webs before her ears heard more voices.

"There's too many of them!" A man's voice said.
"Keep at it! We can't let them continue to wrap around the chosen child!" A stoic female voice said. Luna also then could hear blasts and the sound of a battle.
"Wake up pipsqueak!"
"Witch, that isn't helping."
She looked up at Angel again confused and he just answered, "you'll see soon enough." He flew them higher before stopping and kept them airborne. "Look."
When Luna looked down, she couldn't help but gasp at what she saw. There, in the middle of these black vines almost entangled and the source of them, was Cathy! She looked almost asleep with her Garden of the Moon Kingdom dress on, but tattered. Then also around her, were her duel monsters as they attacked each web and some that were coming out of nowhere.
Luna recognized a few of the duel spirits from Cathy's matches, while a few she hadn't seen before. But they kept attacking, although it seemed as nothing they were doing was working.
"Cathy!" Luna called out to her in fear seeing her friend almost dead looking and trapped.
"She cannot hear you child. We have tried multiple times, but she is unreachable." Angel told her with a sigh.
Suddenly a purple sparkle came flying up to them, but when it got closer, Luna could see it was a fairy. Moonlight Fairy to be exact.
"Angel! You're back! Who did you bring?" She asked in a high pitched voice when she came to them then looked at Luna and grinned. "Oh I know you! You're the Crimson signer child!"
Luna's eyes grew wide at what she said. "Fairy." Angel scolded and the small fairy gasped and covered her mouth.
"Oops! Uhhh... Forget I said anything! Ehehe..." She scratched her head then sat on Angel's shoulder and looked down at the other spirits fighting. Moonlight Witch was casting spells to try and burn the webs as Moonlight Prince tried to slice them with a sword, standing beside Moonlight King. They were trying to break Cathy free.
"Any luck?" Angel asked Fairy and the small girl looked to see her shake her head.
"No... We haven't been able to cut through one. And ever since that recent outburst, there have only been more." Fairy said sighing.
Luna looked back down at them and then to Cathy. "What are they?" She asked them holding onto Angel tightly.
All she got was silence for a bit till he answered, "they're the vines of darkness... Ever since that Trickster human destroyed whatever remaining memories my mistress had, he also destroyed the only things that kept her protected. From these things."
It didn't make sense to Luna, but she decided not to question it while continuing to watch the battle. Her grip grew tighter on his shoulders feeling helpless watching it all. "W- why am I here then? Is there anything I can do?" She asked till Fairy flew in front of her smiling.
Nodding she spun around, "why your here to help us of course! You are, after all, the only one to answer milady's plea for help!"
"Wait what?" Luna asked her confused more. "Only one to answer?"
Angel nodded again and she looked now at him. "Yes. My mistress has tried to contact the others of your... Group. Yet you have the biggest connection to the Spirit World that her spirit could reach out to you more."
"So Cathy's spirit needed my help..."
"She technically needs all of your help." Angel continued. "Your friend, Yusei Fudo, must face her in a match. He is connected to all of you and her the most. He, perhaps, can wake her up and put this darkness into stasis once more."

Luna listened to him and nodded though then looked down, "but what can I do...?"
"You're gonna be the messenger!" Fairy chimed grinning and stood on her shoulder. "You are the only one who knows what's going on, and you have to tell Yusei what he needs to do!"
Luna nodded again and stayed silent. "Child." She looked at Angel who smiled kindly at her. "You remember what my mistress has said to you. You are more then just a kid. You are destined for greatness." He said to her with the same words she remembered the blonde haired duelist said to her in the Spirit World.
"Right. I have to help Cathy now. It's my turn." Luna said determined and smiled back.
"That's the spirit! Hehe get it?! Cause I'm a spirit~?" Fairy said giggling.
"Fairy..." Angel said unamused.
The duel spirit squeaked and giggled nervously scratching the back of her head. "Sorry! Um yeah! Is there anything else we're missing to tell her?"
The grayish blue haired boy shook his head. "Not that I am aware of at the moment."
"Oh wait! Yes there is! Crimson sign- I mean... Uh Luna! Here's a warning for ya!" The teal girl looked back at her and nodded for her to continue. "If Yusei doesn't save milady soon, her mind will be lost and she will never wake up again. Leaving her body a shell or husk to be used for bad intentions. No pressure!"
"Um that would've been nice to know sooner." Luna said gulping. Until suddenly she heard a voice calling out her name from above.
"Luna! Luna wake up sweetie!" She heard looked up to the nothing sky. The voice sounded like Sakura's and Luna knew she had to go back.
"You remember what you must tell Yusei Fudo, right?" Angel asked, almost sounding worried.
She smiled at him and nodded ensuring to him she did. "Mhmm. I won't let you or anyone else down."
"Good luck!" Fairy cheered and reached into her tiny pouch. "Time to send you back! Please help her!" She said before blowing some dust into Luna's face.
The girl coughed and closed her eyes as she suddenly disappeared from Angel's arms. The two spirits watched her leave and then held serious expressions. "I can't believe we have to ask them for help." Fairy said now serious and almost a disgusted tone.
"You know that this cannot be happening now. They're the only ones who can push it back before the time is right." Angel said as she sat back on his shoulders.
Fairy groaned and rolled her eyes looking back at the duel spirits fighting the webs, then at Cathy. "Yeah yeah. Still it makes me upset! But it can't be helped I guess..."
Angel chuckled and took out his sword, "your not one to backdown so easily."
"I will when I know the pay off~." Fairy said smirking and stood up. "Let's just hope that Yusei Fudo and Crimson Signers don't blow it. I don't like milady like this."
"Trust me. They will help her."
Fairy nodded and then giggled to herself. "You know what would really would have sold it so he helps her?!" She asked grinning as Angel rose an eyebrow. "If milady did this~." She clasped her hands and went down on her knees pouting. "Oh please help me Signers! You're my only hope!"
Angel groaned and rolled his eyes, "get back to work." He said while she just laughed and flew back to help the other attack the webs. Angel stayed behind and looked up blankly. "Hurry." He whispered before flying to help as well.
"Luna!" The young girl gasped and opened her eyes sitting straight up. She saw Sakura kneeling in front of her with a worried expression. She sighed in relief and gave a small smile. "Thank goodness you're okay..."
Luna looked around confused and saw cleaning supplies and essentials all around her in a small room. She looked back at Sakura tilting her head, "Sakura? What happened?"
"Well when you hadn't returned from your long pee break, we grew really worried. So I went out looking for you and found you asleep here in a supply closet!" The purplette explained trying to get up off her bad ankle.
Quickly Luna helped her up, "oh I'm so sorry I worried you guys."
Sakura smiled and shook her head. "It's alright sweetie. But quick question, why did you decide to take a nap here?" She asked her while limping out of the room.
The minute the small girl heard the question, she gasped and remembered her time in Cathy's mind. "I have to get to Yusei! I need to tell him something important immediately!" She said panicking and was about to run off to the stands, but Sakura held her arm back.
"Woah easy there Luna! Yusei is still dueling Akiza. What do you mean? What's going on?" She questioned noticing how it she acted.
"It's about Cathy!"
This immediately made Sakura freeze and look at her wide eyed. She opened her mouth to say something until suddenly the whole stadium shook in a tremor causing the two girls to gasp.
"What was that?!" Luna asked while the young woman looked almost scared.
"It's the Black Ro- I mean Akiza and Yusei's duel. It's been very intense and has been shaking the whole Arena. She's even destroyed parts of it and cause damages." Sakura explained trying to remain calm.
"And what about Yusei?"
She sighed and took a deep breath, "last time I checked, he was getting tossed down..."
Luna nodded then gasped in a sharp breath almost in pain holding her arm. "Luna! Are you okay?"
They both looked at her right arm to see the glowing Crimson claw mark. It shines brightly and they both looked at each other. "We have to get to Yusei." Luna said and Sakura said nothing but nodded in agreement.
As they both ran to the stadium, they didn't notice Sayer step out from behind the wall smiling a little. He watched them leave but kept an eye on the glowing mark on Luna's arm. "Hmm guess I'm going to need another plan." He mumbled before hearing footsteps come up from behind him. "Patience. You'll get to do your job soon." He said to the person who stood behind him.
Sakura and Luna went to the stands as the looked around at all the damage and destroyed seats. The small teal girl noticed that lot of the seats were empty and could only guess some audience members had left. She them heard a small audible gasp from Sakura next to her. She looked up at her and saw that she was staring at something in the middle of the field.
"That's a beautiful dragon..." She mumbled and Luna looked to where she was looking at saw that not only was Black Rose Dragon on Akiza's side of the field, but on Yusei's field was a sparkling white and blue dragon.
They snapped out of their trance and walked to the seats of the four boys. They all noticed them and Leo stood up seeing his sister. "Luna! Where did you go?! You missed Yusei summon an awesome monster!"
She took her seat next to him and seemed a little quiet as she kept on remembering what's happening to Cathy. "Sorry. Something came up."
Leo noticed something was wrong with her and sat back down as Dexter chimed in, "are you alright Luna? You seem worried right now." He asked while she looked at him.
"Um well..." She started but didn't know how to explain it. 'Moonlight Angel told me I have to tell Yusei what's going on. But do I tell them as well? How do I even tell them what I saw as well?' She thought.
"So what's been going on?" Sakura asked Tanner sitting next to him again looking at the match.
Tanner crossed his arms looking at it as well. "Well so far what I can tell is that we're about to see these two dragons duke it out right here and now. Akiza is definitely giving Yusei a hard time, but he's not giving up so easily. It's almost like he's trying to help her." He explained to her.
"Did you summon that monster to remind me of all the pain?! To remind me how much I hate this mark?!" Akiza asked spiteful and glared at Yusei.
He remained cool and looked at her gripping her mark. "No Akiza. That's not what I'm doing at all. I'm trying to show you that you're not alone, and that I understand what your going through. I don't want to be your enemy Akiza, I want to be your friend."
Akiza gritted her teeth and was clouded by anger and frustration. "Who said I ever wanted a friend?! We'll always be an outcast! That is our fate!"
"And what about Cat?!" Yusei said making the girl look up at him wide eyed at the mention of the blond. "She stands up for you and sticks by you. Isn't that a friend?"
She looked down at her right arm, looking past the mark, and stared at the green ribbon on her wrist. "Cat..." She mumbled and remembered her words.
'Hey Akiza. Let's be friends.' She was shocked at her words, and was very reluctant on agreeing to it. She didn't want her to get hurt. But something about her made Akiza just want to trust her.
'... But you're my friend Akiza. And I'm gonna stand up for you.' She kept remembering more of how determined the magenta streaked girl was to be her friend and there for her. It almost reminded her of the boy standing ahead of her and determined to help her.
Yet suddenly she remembered the hateful words the crowd gave Cathy when they found out she was just like her. All those harsh comments, they reminded her of the ones she would get constantly.
"And look where that got her." Akiza said almost in a mumble. "She's now ridiculed. All because of this wretched power I posses, then she becomes affiliated with me. She gets hurt. I can't have any friends Yusei. Which is why it's better to just stay behind my mask..."
"Akiza no! I understand what your saying, I know what it's like to think of things that happened to you will affect the people around you and who you are! I'm from the Satellite! But it's no excuse to keep hiding behind that mask of your's!" Yusei tried to reason. But when Akiza still didn't listen, he knew he had no choice and proceeded to have Stardust Dragon attack her Black Rose Dragon.
When the attack collided, Yusei, Akiza, Luna, and even Jack in the stands winced at the burning sensation in their marks. Sakura looked to Luna worried and the bright red claw. "Luna are you okay?"
"Y- yeah... I think I'll be okay..." She mumbled and continued to watch the match. They saw how Akiza took out her mask and put it on. They then heard as almost the whole stadium booed and stirred at seeing it. Then proceeded to taunt her making Sakura grit her teeth.
"They aren't helping anything... If they keep booing and saying such disrespectful words, they're just going to increase her destructive powers..."
Tanner sighed and nodded, "it can't be helped with these people. They have to project their feelings somewhere."
They looked back at the arena in time to see Akiza revive her Black Rose Dragon. She then began to activate it's special ability of destroying all cards on the field. Everyone gasped when the felt the strong winds pick up and knew that more of the arena was going to be destroyed.
"Brace yourselves kids!" Yanagi said while hunching behind the seat I front of him. Leo held onto his sister and Dexter as Tanner took Sakura close to them as they prepared for the destruction.
Yusei braced himself as well and saw how people were about to get hurt again. "I have to stop her." He said then used Stardust Dragon's ability of sacrificing it to destroy Black Rose Dragon.
The white dragon flew to Akiza's monster, almost hugging it, and proceeded to destroy itself with it. The others released themselves when the saw the danger gone and gasped at what Yusei did.
"He destroyed her Black Rose Dragon!" Tanner said shocked and let go of the purplette.
Her cheeks were a light pink as she looked back ahead and nodded, "yeah! He saved us all but at the sacrifice of Stardust Dragon!"
"But what's gonna happen now?" Yanagi asked worried.
Akiza summoned her Phoenixian Seed, then tributing it to summon Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis.
Yusei tensed a little at remembering the card that also cause Cathy to have a panic attack. Akiza used it to attack Yusei's speed warrior by wrapping him in its vines and setting them on fire. He got hit by the after shock and groaned in pain.
The blast also proceeded to destroy more parts of the arena. Some peices flew in the air and hit Akiza's mask, causing a chunk of the bottom half to break off.
"It's not over yet Akiza! Since I used Stardust Dragon's ability, he can come right back to my field at your end phase." Yusei announced while Stardust Dragon rose again.

Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.

Well, let's go back a few hours before shit hits the fan. To a young porter who didn’t know that fate had a greater plan for him. Plans which involved comic wars, slaying outer-gods, and grenades.
