I'm baaaaaaackk!!!! Well back to writing in this hehe. Anyways! I think that you all deserve another wonderful chapter, even though it might be a wee terrible, after such a longer disappearance! I just get really busy and writer block literally wants to kill me! But this chapter is suspenseful and let's just say one that'll completely turn this whole thing around. Hope you all enjoy! And tell me what you think after!
I don't own Yugioh 5Ds or the characters, cause if I did I'd continue it! And I don't own the cards, just my OC, the story, and the OC cards!
Last time on Yugioh 5Ds Lost Memories! It was finally time to avenge Sakura's honor and take down this newcomer The Trickster! Though he may seem like a cool guy at first, he hurt my friend, uses cool magic tricks, charms people with his charisma and good looks, and killed my father! Okay so one of those points is a lie but you get the point! I don't like the guy. And now it was time to duel him! But as we dueled, I was doing good at first till he activated this Dark Circus Ring and then a monster called Fiend's Mirror. After whooping my butt a little, he told me to look into the mirror monster. And to let him into my mind! Oh boy... This is not going to be a good day I can feel it.
Cathy stood in darkness in her Garden of Moonlight outfit with nothing around her. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around a little panicked. "Huh?! What the?! Where am I?!"
She began to walk around the darkness to find anything. "Hello!" She called out, but all she got was an echo. Puffing her cheek she took in a deep breath and yelled out, "Marco!!!!"
She listened carefully and only got, "Marco!!! Marco! Marco. Marco..." From the darkness. Groaning she just kept walking and looking around. "Okay... Try to remember what happened... Oh the irony." She chuckled lightly to herself and thought long and hard.
"Okay. So I was in the tournament. Oh! And I was getting my butt whooped by Trickster! Wait... He summoned a mirror monster and..." Cathy groaned and held her head while it began to pound. "Where am I?!"
'Monster! Monster! Monster!' Suddenly young voices began to chant around her. They sounded so distant yet all around Cathy.
'N- no! I'm not a monster!' A little girl's voice began to ring out through the darkness.
Cathy rose her head and looked around for the source of the talking. "Great... Now I'm hearing voices in my head... I really have gone crazy." She mumbled then paused when she heard crying in the distance.
Looking ahead, a white door appeared in front of Cathy and she heard the sobbing noise coming from it. Cathy walked to it cautiously and opened the door slowly. When it opened, what was inside was nothing but a little girl sitting on the floor.
Though around her was nothing but darkness, Cathy could see her clear as day. The girl's back was towards Cathy, and she wore a purple dress with a dark pink ribbon on her waist and some snow boots on her feet. Her hair was blonde with pink streaks and held up in a ponytail by a large blue bow.
"Um excuse me kid, are you okay?" Cathy asked coming up to the girl. The child jumped and looked back Cathy. Her eyes were covered by the shadow of her bangs, but she did hold the look of surprise. But Cathy noticed then that on her right upper arm was raps and bandages on her other arm and legs. Even on her cheek.

"W- who are you?" She squeaked out timidly.
"Oh! I'm.... I'm..." Cathy tried hard to say her name, but it was like she didn't know what it was. Or who she was. She held a frightened look and placed her hand on her forehead. "I don't know... I know it, but I can't remember it. Wait! Who even am I?!"
The little girl placed a hand on Cathy's and gave her a kind smile. "That's okay. You shouldn't hurt yourself to remember."
Cathy looked at her an chuckled. "You sure are too kind. So uh, what's your name kiddo?"
"Um... Martha told me to never tell strangers my name..." She answered, shuffling her feet.
"Oh! In that case I'll call you Pinky! Cause of your pink streaks!" Pinky laughed and pointed up at Cathy's head.
"But you have some too!"
Cathy looked confused and grabbed one of her long pigtails to see it. "What? Oh! I do! Weird..."
Pinky laughed and took Cathy's hand, "I like you! You're silly! I'm gonna call you Flowey!"
"'Flowey'? Why that?" Cathy asked giggling and kneeled down to Pinky's height. The smaller girl lightly touched the flower on her head and giggled. "Oh! I guess that's why." She said smiling and stood straight up.
Pinky took Cathy's hand and smiled looking up at her. "You're nice! Can you help me find my way to Martha? Or my friends?"
Cathy looked down at her and nodded. "Sure! And in return you can help me find my way out of here."
"Okay!"
~meanwhile back in the real world~
Cathy's body was standing up straight in the tent of Dark Circus Ring. Her eyes were a dull orange and she stared blankly ahead. The Trickster had the same dull expression in his dark blue eyes.
"Uhhh is this part of the show?" The MC asked looking through some notes. "Cat. Trickster. Are you both okay? Can you continue?"
"What's wrong with Cathy?" Yanagi asked.
"It's almost as if she's in a trance." Sakura said worriedly and Tanner looked at Yusei.
"Has she done that before?" He asked the yellow streaked boy who looked at him then back to the TV.
Yusei thought back to his childhood and nodded, "yes and no. She would do that, but that was only during her first year of dueling. And I don't think this is like those times."
"What do you mean?"
Yusei looked at Trickster with a stoic expression. "I think that that Trickster has something to do with it now."
Luna listened to the adults speak and put her hands in her pocket where her deck was. 'Kuribon. Can you hear me?' She thought to the spirit. Suddenly in front of her was the duel spirit who chirped at her. She smiled at the spirit as it rubbed its head against hers. She giggled and looked at it, 'Kuribon, can you please look in the Spirit World for any trace of Cathy?' She asked.
The spirit chirped in response and then disappeared. Luna looked back at the TV very worryingly. She rubbed her right arm and began thinking about that mark again and being in the Spirit World with Cathy.
"What?! What do you mean we can't take the hologram down?!" The MC asked not realizing his mic was still on.
Everyone in the garage looked at each other worryingly, not sure what to do. "I'll go check on her." Yusei said beginning to walk out of the garage.

"Want us to come with Yusei?" Tanner asked.
Though Yusei looked back at them with a small smile and shook his. "It's alright. You keep an eye from the TV." He said then walked away.
~Back with Cathy~
Cathy held Pinky's hand as they continued to walk in and the darkness. The younger girl was smiling and skipping a bit. Cathy watched her and smiled. "So how old are you?" She asked her.
Pinky just kept skipping and said, "I can't just tell a stranger that Flowey."
Cathy rolled her eyes and sighed. "Hey we're both lost here together kiddo."
"Oh well! Still not gonna tell ya!" She stuck her tongue out and then looked ahead. "Flowey look! Somethings over there." She pointed ahead and Cathy looked to see a shadow figure a head. She held Pinky's hand tighter protectively and slowed down her pace.
"Hey! Who's there?" Cathy called out and could sense darkness, intrigue, and... Fear?
She felt Pinky grip her tighter and say, "f- Flowey... I feel something bad around me..." Cathy looked at her questioningly since she could feel the same thing she was feeling. Cathy moved Pinky behind her as the smaller girl held onto her dress as she walked closer to the figure.
Getting closer to him the feeling they felt was getting stronger. Cathy though kept a strong face and stopped when they got close enough to the man. "Hey. Who are you?" She asked to him.
Though all the received was a dark chuckle as a response. Then finally an answer. "Yes... The dark secrets... They must all be mine!"
Cathy could recognize that voice but couldn't remember who's it belong to. Pinky gripped her tighter when as the figure turned, a force pushed them back and wind blew around them. The older blond made sure to grab Pinky and hold her close as the skid along the floor but made sure she was safe. They both groaned and Cathy looked at the guy to see him now more clearly. She saw he had dark blue hair and dark green eyes.
Suddenly a name came into her head and she mumbled. "Trickster..."
The man looked at them with a crazed smile and Cathy could feel the small girl in her arms tremble. "F- Flowey... I d- don't like him..."
"Join the club kiddo..." Cathy mumble and got up with the young girl.
Trickster watched them both and then his eyes made contact with Pinky's and his eyes grew wide. "The last memory fragment! I must destroy it!"
His hand reached out to them and suddenly another huge wave began to push them back again. Cathy held onto Pinky to protect her as they flew back a little crying out. They landed again with a thud and groaned. "Ugh... Why?! Why are you doing this?! What are you doing here?!" Cathy questioned standing up again.
"Just stay out and let me finish what I started! I have to know the secrets and do the job. I don't have a choice!" Trickster said to her.
"Yes you do! You always have a choice. Everyone does."
She felt his hesitance then shook his head smiling. "You are just so stubborn as Mr Sayer says you are. Just hand me the last memory and I'll leave your mind!" He commanded looking at Pinky.
"'Mind'? 'Memory'?" Cathy questioned and just shook her head. "I don't know what your talking about but I'm not letting you touch her! Got it?!"
Trickster sighed and shook his head ashamed. "I hoped that this wasn't going to be tricky. But oh well... Let the show continue!"
Suddenly duel disks appeared on their arms and they were all in a circus tent. Cathy saw two facedowns on her side and that there was a big green mirror monster on Trickster's side.
"I believe it's your move!" Trickster smiling at Cathy as she looked so confused at the cards in her hands and in front of her.
"Um... Uhh..." It was as if she could only see blank cards and her head pounded. "W- what's going on with me?" She groaned and heard Trickster chuckle.
"What's wrong? Can you not continue?" Trickster asked in a bit of a taunting voice, but even Cathy could feel a bit of concern. "You know that there is only person in this world who freaks like us can trust."
Cathy looked at him with a feisty glare, though didn't know why. She just had a feeling that whoever this guy he was talking about was pure evil. With also a stupid haircut.
"Be quiet! I'm just concentrating!" She said to him and focused her eyes on the cards, until she felt a hand on her elbow.
"Let me help you Flowey..." She looked down to see Pinky who smiled up at her. Cathy smiled back and nodded.
"Alright. Let's do this, together."
Cathy looked back at the cards and saw that they were now becoming clearer. She gave a feisty smile and drew, "I draw! And now I summon Moonlight Prince in attack mode!"
Prince appeared on the field and drew his sword out. Cathy for some reason expected him to flirt with her, but instead he walked to Pinky and kneeled in front of her and took her small hand. "My lady, you may be young but I will always love you and stay by your side." He took her hand and kissed it.
Cathy watched the interactions completely confused yet also getting a sense of deja vu. Pinky though giggled and patted his head, "thank you my prince! I believe you always will."
Prince walked back to where he was and Cathy was just lost, "uhh... Okay... Anyways, I activate his ability! You see by sending one Moonlight monster from my deck to the graveyard, I deal 500 points of damage you!"
Prince's sword began to glow when Cathy let Pinky put one card from her deck to the graveyard. He ran to Trickster and slashed his sword at him. Trickster grunted and was pushed back a little.
"And now I place one face down card and end my turn..." Cathy said letting Pinky place the card down.
"You're losing your touch. But unlike you, I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve!" Trickster said drawing. "I place one monster facedown with 2 cards also face down. Now my Fiend's Mirror! Attack her Moonlight Prince!"
Suddenly out of the large hand mirror, an all silver moving statue of Prince appeared from the mirror. It drew out its own sword and charged to Prince like a puppet. When it clashed its sword to Prince's.
"Why you..." Prince groaned. But his doppelgänger kicked him in the stomach and stabbed him in the chest.
"Prince! No!" Pinky and Cathy both yelled to him. Though the snowy white haired boy disappeared and the impact hit both the blondes.
Cathy held onto Pinky close to her and took most of the hit for them. "Flowey! Are you okay?" The smaller girl asked as she watched Cathy groan in pain. She looked at Pinky and forced a nod and smile.
"Y- yeah... I'll b- be fine...." Cathy shakingly stood up and still got in a protective stance in front of Pinky. "That all you got?"
Trickster balled his hand in a fist, as they felt bigger hesitance and guilt. "Why? Just hand the final fragment of memory, let me learn the dark secrets, and just listen. He can save you!"
"The only one who will need saving is you when I beat you!" Cathy said back drawing. She felt Pinky's hand on her back as she looked at the cards. There was nothing good in her hand as she groaned. "I summon Moonlight Baby Cerberus in attack mode and I'll end my turn..."
The small three headed puppy appeared and all three of the heads growled at the sight of Trickster. Before they quickly turned around and ran to the two girls. Cathy smiled and had her arms open to pick them up, though they ran past her like she wasn't there and jumped onto Pinky. "Seriously?! Man I feel so unloved..." Cathy muttered.
Pinky squealed and laughed as Baby Cerberus licked her face wagging his tail. "Ahahaha! Okay okay! I love you three too! Now let's win this duel." They nodded and ran back to the field ready.
"You're grasping at straws now!" Trickster announced drawing his next card. "It's time I finish this quickly! Fiend's Mirror, attack her Moonlight Baby Cerberus!"
Cathy smirked as a mirror Baby Cerberus came out and tried to attack him, "that was a big mistake." Moonlight Baby Cerberus growled and began to grow in size and mass turning into Moonlight Cerberus.
He howled and the mirror Baby Cerberus stopped immediately, whimpering then running back into the mirror with his tail between his legs.
"Tch... Fine! Though I can't attack, I can still cause damage and win! I flip summon Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive!" A dark train with an evil looking face appeared.
"Man... Try saying that name three times fast." Cathy said as Pinky actually tried to say it three times fast. Cathy looked at her, "I didn't mean it literally!"
"Huh? Awww okay." She said and puffed up one of her cheeks pouting.
The monster then blew steam and out came a card for Trickster to take. "Not only does his ability let me draw a card, but don't forget about my field spell Dark Circus Ring! Your gonna take damage equal to his defense points!"
"No!" Cathy yelled as her eyes widen.
"Yes! I may not complete my whole job, but the damage should be enough to please Mr Sayer!" Trickster said as he suddenly had a cape on and used it to reveal a canon. "This show is over Miss Cat Simmons! Or should I say, Cathy Sullivan! You have been a lovely audience to your mind breaking!"
The cannon fired and it was as if time had suddenly slowed down while it barreled towards her. Cathy's eyes grew wider then began to close as she braced for impact.
"Activate trap card! Celestial Maiden's Tears!" A high pitched girl's voice said. Cathy looked to see Pinky in front of her with her arms spread out wide. One of her facedown cards flipped up and glowed. "If my life points are about to take damage by the effect of a card, I can sacrifice one Moonlight monster from my deck then send it to the graveyard to half the damage!" She announced.
The cannon ball was surrounded by a blue light, and directed itself lower to Pinky. Cathy gasped and tried to reach out for her but her feet wouldn't move, "no!! Look out!!"
Pinky turned to look back at her and Cathy saw her eyes were a bright orange, but her iris was in the form of a full Galaxy with black and gold stars. She had tears coming down and smiled, "we're not a monster..." She said before the cannon hit her and she disappeared in shatters like green shards.
Trickster watched wide eyed and his hands dropped to his sides. He looked around and out through the tent opening of the field spell to see the wold outside had shattered and there was nothing outside. "The final memory... It's done." He sighed and looked back at Cathy who was on her knees and her head down motionless. "Mr Sayer told me to say this when her mind is broken... Cat Simmons! That is your name!"
Cathy stayed still and Trickster gripped his fist again and took a deep breath. "I know you don't remember why you're here. But Mr Sayer will help you. He helps us all. Differents like you and I. Cat Simmons. You have to listen to him and he will help you. Just lend him your power and secrets."
He still had no response and sighed, "now I have to win this duel and we'll go back to the Arcadia Movement. Our sanctuary. Just finish your turn and let me win." Cathy stood up slowly though her head was still down. Trickster tilted his head confused, "Cat?"
Suddenly the whole world began to shake violently and he went to his knees. "W- what's going on?" He looked back at the blond and saw that she still stood there, before screaming in pain and holding her head. The ground shook more and some inky black substance was growing largely under her.
"Heheheh.... You wanted to know the dark secrets?" A voice said that sounded like Cathy's said when she no longer in pain, but it was coming from all around the place and had a second voice speaking. "You humans are not ready to know what they are!"
Suddenly the inky substance splattered and stretched along the walls of the tent and a dark purple aura surrounded the whole room. Trickster watched in fear as the voice said again, "you should not have come to this mind! This mind is not a place for a human to tamper with!"
~Meanwhile, back again in the real world~
