Last time on Yugioh 5Ds Lost Memories! The fortune cup is still going and Yusei defeated his opponent. But right after I passed out, again! When I wake up it's Akiza's match that's next, but now everyone knows she's the Black Rose! That is not a good! And after winning, of course, I find out that Yusei knows that I have amnesia! Well isn't that perfect!!! It's not like I already I have enough trouble talking to him already! But wait there's more. There's now a loser bracket that was set up by Director Goodwin. They must've figured out Luna was Leo in our duel. Now she was "chosen" to duel and I have a feeling this isn't gonna be a good either.

All the winners were sent to the Competitors Lounge after the MC announced Luna's opponent. It was The Professor. I don't know why but I was feeling uneasy about this match. I mean I do want Luna to win and get back in the tournament, even if Leo was gonna be her, but I just couldn't help but hope she lost. Great now I sound mean!

"Hopefully Luna can win this match." I looked at Sakura who was bringing some tea. She handed Yusei, who was sitting next to me, and I a cup. I looked back at the screen and saw the duel beginning.

"I will let you go first, dear Luna." The Professor said. I wish I was staring at him in person instead of a screen! Then maybe I could get a read on this guy!

"Okay. I'll draw. I summon Sunny Pixie, in defense mode." Luna said while a cute little fairy came out. "Your turn Professor."

"Yes thank you. I draw. And now I'll summon an interesting monster called Symmetry Rorschach." A weird purple misty moth came out. Yet for some reason I couldn't look away from it. Like it was calling to me. "Now little Luna. Look at my monster and tell me what you see. Look into your fears, dream, or lost memories? Tell me what you see."

I was slowly falling into a daze. His words were starting to fade away. It was like all of reality was disappearing, and all that stood was me and the monster in front of me. Suddenly the blob was transforming. It was taking form of a person right before my eyes. Then what stood in front of me was... Me?! No. A younger me! She looked a lot like me but her outfit was the same outfit I had on in Garden of Moonlight. Yet her hair, while she still had pigtails with flowers, it was shorter. She suddenly pointed to her left. I looked to where she was pointing but before I could see it, I was pulled back into reality by yelling.

"CAT SIMMONS!!!!!" The yelling also came with deafness and shaking!

"Huh?" I looked and saw Yusei and Sakura in front of me. Sakura was definitely the one shaking me.

"Are you okay? You were suddenly out." Yusei said while going back next to me.

"Uh... Yeah! Sorry! Hehe just daydreaming. What happened?" I looked back at the match and saw The Professor activating the trap card Light to the Depths, and Luna had a cute little puffball called Kuribon on her field.

"Well The Professor activated Light to the Depths. What it does is Luna has to send the top 5 cards from her deck to her graveyard. Then when she gets to the 6th she has to play it." Yusei said.

"Hey Yusei. What do you think he wants with Luna?"

"I don't know. But what ever it is it can't be good." I looked back at the match when The Professor started counting the cards Luna drew. But that was until I saw Luna's eyes! They were so dull and hollow!

"Luna!" I immediately stood up and yelled her name.

"Cat what's wrong." I turned my head to Sakura and didn't say anything. I looked back at Luna as she kept drawing. Then she got to her sixth card.

"Now let me see. What is the card in your hand." Luna showed the card and it was a field spell. "Ah. Just what I was hoping for. Now little Luna play the field spell, Ancient Forest." The whole field was suddenly turned into a forest. The trees were even moving and swaying like a breeze was passing through. "Some say that this forest resembles something lost long ago, something forbidden, why it's just like the spirit world."

The what? What the heck is the spirit world? "Milady! She needs our help?!" Wait a minuet, I know that voice! I took off my backpack and grabbed my deck. After going through I found the card I knew was the one talking. Moonlight Fairy. Suddenly it was as though the card came to life because now right in front of my face was Moonlight Fairy herself. Great I'm hallucinating.

"Great." I sighed.

"You are not imagining me, milady! But I am glad that you're unlocking your powers again." She said while flying closer to me. The little fairy was about the height of my chin to nose.

"What do you mean powers?" I asked.

"You okay Cat?" I looked back at Sakura and Yusei who were looking at me, and realized that they can't see her. Just like a spirit.

"Uh yeah. Just getting dizzy." I answered a little.

"I am real milady! You just don't remember me. But we must hurry! The little ones are in danger!!!" She said while flying to my face again.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Cat who are you talking to?" I just ignored her.

"I do not have time to explain, we must hurry to the spirit world! I'm sorry to do this to you milady." She suddenly had a something in her hands and blew it in my face. I closed my eyes and coughed at the powder. When I opened them I was no longer in the back room! I was in a forest!

"I don't think I'm in Domino City anymore Toto." I started to walk around the forest. It seemed oddly familiar, like I've been here before. I was about to wander more when I heard a familiar voice yelling.

"Ah Kuribon, what happened?!" I know that voice!

"Luna!!!" I yelled into the forest. But it was no use. Her's and my voice just echoed all around the forest. She didn't answer though, which drove me into finding her my most top priority."Luna! Where are you?!" I screamed again. I started to run as fast as I could. I didn't know where I was going but I had to get to Luna!

"No!!!!" I heard Luna scream and I think my legs started to go faster.

"Luna!!!!" I ran right into a clearing and saw Luna, Kuribon, and some purple electric dragon. The dragon looked like it was reappearing something. "Luna!" I called to the little girl and she turned around and I could tell was shocked when she saw me.

"Cat?!" She immediately ran to me as I knelt down to her hight to hug her. She hugged me so tight I could tell she was afraid.

"Ssshhh it's going to be okay. I'm right here." I said while hugging her tighter and petting her head. She pulled away a little so she could look at me.

"Cat what's going on? Where are we?" There was only one answer I had.

"I think we're in the spirit world." I said.

"Think Luna", we heard The Professor, "tell me about the Crimson Dragon." The what?

"What do you want Professor Creep?!" I yelled while looking around. I felt Luna grip my cloak sleeve tighter.

"You can't harm us here! This is a safe place!" Luna said also. I looked at the little girl in front of me. She's strong for her age but she's still a child.

"Luna, what is he talking about? What is the Crimson Dragon?" She looked at me and I felt fear, confusion, worry, and a little mad. Probably from this guy hurting a sacred place. She shook her head.

"I don't know. I don't remember." It sounded just like me. I hugged her again when suddenly in a flash a beautiful unicorn appeared. We both looked as I started to stand. "Sunlight Unicorn?"

"What?" I asked.

"He's one of my monsters."

"Luna. Luna." Suddenly an elegant voice called. I almost thought it was Artemis but no it wasn't. I got in front of Luna protectively.

"Who is it? Who are you?" Luna called to her.

"Luna you have finally returned. Returned to fulfill your promise." What is up with mysterious voices doing that?

"Promise? What promise?" I asked not trusting her.

"The promise to protect the Spirit World from the forces of evil." Are you serious?!

"But what can I do? I'm just a kid."

"You can come with me."

"Cat!!!" The blond was about to fall to the floor if Yusei didn't catch her.

"Cathy!" He tried to shake her but it was no use. Yusei gasped at what he felt when he caught her, "her body is cold!"

"What?!" Sakura knelt down and put her hand on her forehead to check Cat's body temperature. Then Sakura hovered her hand to Cat's open mouth. "She's still breathing but it's as if her body went to sleep." She looked up at Yusei who was still holding her, "just like after your match."

"We need to get her to a doctor!" Suddenly Greiger appeared next to Sakura and Yusei.

"I'll take her to first aid. You might want to check on the little girl." Everyone looked towards the screen and saw that both Luna and the Professor were in a daze. Yusei turned back to Greiger and lifted Cat up. He then handed her to Greiger so now he was carrying her.

"Alright. But please take care of her." And with that said Greiger nodded and walked out with the blonde.

"You go check on Luna, I'm gonna go tell Tanner!" She then ran out as fast as her kimono let her. While Yusei ran out to the stadium arena.

As Sakura ran to the audience stands she tried looking for Tanner. She finally found the familiar turquoise spikes next to white hair and 2 boys. "Tanner!" She yelled. The man turned around to see the purplette running down the stairs.

"Sakura?" Tanner stood up in question as to why Sakura came to see him. She stopped when she got in front of him and caught her breath. "What's wrong? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. But it's Cat!"

"What? What happened?"

"I don't know! One minute she was fine, the next she fainted! I even checked her body and she was as cold as ice! Greiger took her to first aid but it was just so weird." Sakura explained.

"Okay calm down. I'm sure she's probably exhausted. Let's go check on her." He suggested. But just as he said that they heard Dexter gasp.

"Hey Leo, are you okay?" They looked back and saw Leo lying down as if he was asleep.

"Leo this is no time for napping." Yanagi said shocked. Sakura put a hand on her mouth shocked as Tanner walked towards the boy. He shook his shoulder and patted his cheek.

"He fainted."

"Just like Cat." Tanner looked back at Sakura.

"We should take him to first aid." Yanagi suggested. Tanner picked Leo up with the others following him. After sometime they had Leo being rolled in a stretcher. He was panting and sweating.

"He'll be okay right?" Dexter asked worrying about his best friend.

"Of course, he'll be just fine." Sakura said also at the side of the stretcher.

"Leo, come on buddy wake up." Tanner said to the young boy.

I was at the stadium and looked at Luna who had dull eyes. They were different from Cathy's. With Cathy her's had their shine still to them, but Luna's were just plain dull. Like her soul was no longer in her body.

"Luna. Luna!!" I called trying to get her attention. "It's no use she can't hear me." I looked at the Professor who also had that lost distant look in his eyes. It's like their both being hypnotized. What going on? "Wait a minute! It's just like last time." I remember. This sort of thing happened back when I was a kid!

Flashback

"Alright I'll summon Moonlight Fairy in attack mode! Then I'll place 2 cards facedown and end my turn! Your turn Yusei!" A younger Cathy said. She was about 8 when this happened. It was also when she just got her Moonlight Deck and I wanted to duel her first. We were also using old duel disks I had managed to fix up. But still were too big on our arms.

"Okay Cat!" I said. Being 2 years older than her I was already 10 and had more dueling experience.

"I told you not to call me that! You know how much I hate that name!" She said puffing one of her cheeks in annoyance. I smiled and drew.

"I'll summon Junk Synchron and place 1 facedown card. Now my monster will attack yours!" Right when Junk Synchron destroyed her monster she screamed in pain and fell to her knees. "Cathy?! What's wrong?!" I asked worried.

"*pant* *pant* Yusei? Where are you?" She looked up and I saw her eyes were a dull orange and looked hollow. I was scared at first, but that was until her next phrase terrified me. "Why am I in a forest? Yusei where did you go?"

"Cathy! I'm right here!" She was looking all around in awe. Like she couldn't see or hear me.

"Wow. It's so pretty." Suddenly her eyes were closing and she was falling forward. I immediately dropped the duel disk off my arm and ran to her.

"Cathy? Cathy?! Cathy wake up!" I think that's when I realized her body was so cold. I started to panic for the first time. "Martha! Martha help! Please!"

"Yusei, what's wrong?!" I heard Martha say walking out of the house.

Flashback end

This situation was reminding me of that day. I remember that Cathy woke up the next day like she was just sleeping. She said she never saw a forest and she was probably feeling sleeping. I looked back at The Professor. He's gotta be doing something to her, but what?

That's when I noticed Luna's right arm glowing. It was a red claw mark. "She has a mark! Just like me!" I said surprised. Luna is a signer! But why?! Wherever those two are, it's not here. Their bodies, maybe, but their spirits aren't. And my guess is Cathy went with them.

"What do you mean come with you?! How do we know we can trust you?!" I yelled at the voice. Great I'm arguing with a ghost.

"I knew you would come back to us Luna. I knew you would keep your promise." Is she ignoring me or am I just invisible to a voice!? "I knew you wouldn't forget the promise you made. You do remember, don't you?"

Luna started shaking her head and backing up. I could see fear and confusion around her. "This is not happening. I think you've got the wrong person!" The ground shook and I turned around to see that the purple dragon was still here. Guess we forgot about him.

Suddenly Sunlight Unicorn charged to the monster. I decided to use this as an opportunity to get Luna out of here. I grabbed her hand and ran. "We gotta go. Come on Luna."

"Wait! What about Sunlight Unicorn?"

"I promise he'll be fine. We just need to find a way out of here." We kept running until suddenly the ground shook.

"Cat! What's going on!" That's when I noticed a crack coming from in front of us on the earth. I pulled Luna closer and held her tight with Kuribon holding onto my shoulder.

"Hold on! When I say jump, jump!" Right when the crack split open I prepared to leap high. "Jump!" We both jumped over the split and landed safely on the other side. Right when we landed I made sure Luna was okay. "You alright?"

"Y- yeah I'm fine." I could still see her fear and now sadness. She wanted to go home. I knelt down on my knees so I was her hight. I gently put both my hands on the sides of her face.

"Luna I am so proud of you. You're gonna be okay." She looked at me in my eyes. I still felt the same emotions. Fear, sadness, worry, and confusion.

"But I'm just a kid."

"I know you are sweet pea. But I have a feeling that you are more than just that." I encouraged.

"Cat." She was starting to feel better and was happy about that. For a little girl she can be more mature than I thought. Suddenly there was a bright light and when we looked we saw Sunlight Unicorn. Luna gasped and ran to the unicorn with Kuribon. "Sunlight Unicorn! You're back! Where'd you go?"

I smiled and stood up. I'm so glad that Luna's spirits will protect her. It kind of makes me feel better knowing she'll be safe. I don't know why. I just feel a strong connection towards her. Like how I feel about Yusei, Akiza, and Leo. I want them to be safe but I know I should never get close. Something bad will happen if I do.

My thoughts were interrupted when I looked at other side of the split. There was that purple dragon and he was charging to our side. "Uh pretty voice from earlier, is this thing with you?" I heard Luna ask that voice.

"If it is, can you tell it to back off?" I said also.

"You both must use Sunlight Unicorn to escape." We heard the feminine voice say. Glad to know she isn't ignoring my existence now.

Right when the purple dragon was to the edge of its side of the cliff I ran to Luna and Sunlight Unicorn. I picked Luna up and placed her on the back of him. I picked up Kuribon also and handed him to Luna. I was about to get on also when I saw the dragon landing on our side I knew what I had to do. I put my hand in my cloak pocket and realized I had my deck.

I turned to Luna, "you need to get out of here." She looked down at me shocked and afraid.

"What?! But what about you?!" I smiled at her and I could see her worry.

"I'll be fine. I'm gonna distract that thing. You just need to get somewhere safe."

"No! I refuse to leave you!" I closed my eyes and placed my hand on hers that was holding Kuribon.

"I know you do." I opened my eyes and looked at her seriously. "But like I said, you are more than just a kid. I think you have bigger destiny than you realize." I turned my head around to see that purple thing coming closer. I turned back to Luna and gave her a card that was on top of my deck. I knew what card it was and gave it to her. "This will keep you safe. He will protect you. You need to go!" I patted Sunlight Unicorn signaling him to go. He galloped away and I watched as he ran deeper into the forest. I could see Luna's eyes as the pleaded me to come.

"Cat! No!" I looked back at the dragon.

"Alright buddy. Let's dance." I suddenly had my duel disk on my arm and felt power surge through me.
