Last time on Yugioh 5Ds Lost Memories! The Fortune Cup started and I won my first match! But all was not right with the Kingdom. I met Yusei and a new friend named Sakura. Yet I also met little Miss Bowhead, Melody Rocks. After actually having a full conversation with Yusei and meeting Bolt Tanner, it was time for Yusei's first match. But that was until we found out that Yusei's opponent isn't who he says he is! Now Yusei is facing off against a hobo! Boys!

I was watching Yusei's and this Hunter's duel. Hunter was winning and I for one did not feel comfortable. Yusei was at 400 life points while Hunter was at 1300.

"He's not looking so good." I heard Sakura say.

"Don't talk like that! Yusei's gonna show this guy what he's got." At least I hope.

"I'm gonna slow this duel down! With Shift Down!" Yusei said.

"Why would he do that? Doesn't that remove speed counters?" I asked Tanner.

"That's true. But it also let's the player draw 2 cards from the top of his deck."

"Hopefully he will get the cards he needs." Sakura remarked also. Good luck.

"Next I'll summon Nitro Synchron! And now that I got a turner monster on my field I can bring back Quilbolt Hedgehog from my graveyard!"

"All right! Go Yusei!" I said while cheering him on.

"I now activate the Give and Take trap card!"

"What does that do?"

"It pretty much sends one monster from your graveyard to your opponents field, then the level of that monster is then added to a monster on your field." Sakura answered kinda like a computer.

I saw that Yusei gave Junk Synchron to Hunter while Quilbolt Hedgehog went from level 2 to level 5. "I'll now tune my Quilbolt Hedgehog with my Nitro Synchron in order to summon, Nitro Warrior!"

"Woah! That's so awesome!" I exclaimed. I couldn't believe this well planned strategy.

"Yusei is trying to get to a certain card, isn't he Tanner?" I looked at the two and wondered what they mean.

"Yeah. Thanks to Nitro Synchron, Yusei can draw again. But what are the odds of him getting the right card."

"Yusei." I whispered. I automatically pulled out my pendant, held it with both hands, closed my eyes, and brought it close to me. I suddenly felt power coursing through me like the last times, it felt good and warm. I then focused on Yusei and the heart of the cards. 'Please Yusei.' I said in my head. 'Win.'

'Cathy.' Suddenly it was as if I heard his voice in my head! I think I'm going crazy! And he said that name again! The power suddenly was gone and my head started pounding again, but this time it felt a whole lot worse. I dropped my pendant back inside my cloak and brought my hands to my head and went on my knees.

"Cat!" I heard Sakura exclaim.

"Hey kid, what's wrong?!"

"I'm- fine!" I looked back at the duel and saw the speed spell Gap Storm activated and destroying every spell and trap card on the field. Including Speed Booster. Suddenly Nitro Warrior's ability activated and thanks to Yusei he gains 1000 Atk points.

"Nitro attack with Dynamite Crunch!" The green monster flew up and dive bombed down and destroy Hunter's monster. Then Nitro's second ability made Junk Synchron go into attack mode and can't protect him. And just like that Yusei had beat Hunter!

"Cat are you okay?" I didn't say anything. My head still hurt and it felt like I was in a daze. There was an emotion that didn't sit right. It was far and faint, but it was there and felt like darkness. Pure evil. And it felt... Weird. Not good but not choking like the negative emotions I sense. It was as if this emotion was expecting something.

"Yusei! Something's wrong!" I heard Tanner yell, yet he sounded far. I heard the sound of something being parked and footsteps running. I felt my head being lifted and I could see Yusei close to me but everything was blurry. Then I felt tired and let sleep come.

I was walking back with my duel runner after my talk with Hunter. I couldn't help but think about what happened when I drew Gap Storm with Nitro Synchron's ability. I knew where that feeling was coming from. It was Cathy. I just wish I could figure out why she acts like she doesn't seem to know me. And who is that Sayer guy I saw?

I was walking through the tunnels out of the arena when I suddenly heard Tanner's voice. "Yusei! Something's wrong!" I looked and saw Sakura next to the blond who was holding her heads in her hands.

I immediately parked my runner and ran to her. I knelt down to her and slowly lifted her head. I looked into her eyes and and was shocked at what I saw. Her eyes were a glowing orange with flecks black and gold around her irises, just like during her speech in the beginning of the tournament. But unlike her eyes then, there were more flecks and it was like they were swirling deeper into her eye towards her pupils. (Like picture above)

"Hey are you okay?" I knew what was going on with her. She was trying to read an emotion or seeing a vision. But she needs to look into someone's eyes in order to be able to do that. So who's emotions is she feeling. Her eyes suddenly went back to normal and she closed her eyelids.

"Is she okay?" Sakura asked me.

"She just fell asleep. I'm gonna take her to my garage." I said while picking Cathy up.

"I'll bring your runner, Yusei."

"And I will make some tea for Cat. Something to help her head." I watched as Sakura walked away and Tanner going to my runner.

"Alright. Thank you guys." Tanner went beside me and looked at Cathy. I also looked at her. What happened to you in those 2 months, Cathy.

'Will Griegor and Yukine please come to the stadium?' It took a while but we finally got to my garage. I had Tanner park my duel runner as I placed Cathy on the couch and I grabbed a chair to sit next to her. Sakura came back with a tray full of food and some tea cups with a tea pot. She poured the tea in each cup and gave it to all of us.

"Hey Yusei, are you sure Cat is your friend?" Tanner said when Sakura handed him the cup. She walked to me and gave it to me.

"You know Cat." Sakura asked me. She walked to Cathy and placed a blanket over her. She just rolled over and brought the blanket closer.

"He thinks he does. He's dead set on her being his friend that went missing a couple months ago." Tanner answered for me.

"I know it's her. It's got to be." I said not taking my eyes off of her. It's almost like if I do she would disappear again.

"Think about Yus. The girl acts like she doesn't know you. Even if she uses the same deck as your friend that doesn't prove it. Also your friend went missing from Satellite 2 months ago, and just magically appears in Domino City right when you do?" I could tell what he was trying to say. If Cathy did come here from Satellite how and why? She always hated the city, and she would have to go through Security.

"What if she was brought here?" This time I looked at Sakura who was standing right next to Tanner.

"What do you mean Sakura." Tanner asked.

"Well I've been hearing rumors from the guest who visit my family shrine, that a couple of the big business's have been bringing Satellite people to the city."

"What do they do with these people?" I asked hoping that nothing bad has happened to Cathy.

"Well from what I heard, it's nothing too major. Mild labor and even some second chances. But if they fall out of line then they are put back." I looked back at Cathy.

"Do they take these people forcefully?" I asked.

"Hmm I think not. I believe they are given the option."

"If what you've told me about your friend Yusei, how she hates the city, then it can't be her." It has to be her. She has to be Cathy.

"Well she does have amnesia." I immediately dropped the tea cup and quickly looked at Sakura. Tanner did the same thing except dropping the cup.

"What did you say?" I asked not believing it. It can't be true.

"Yeah. Right before your match, after running out of here, she told me she has amnesia. She says she can't remember anything and she barely knows who even she is." That explains so much.

"If she doesn't remember anything, then how come she hasn't said anything." Tanner asked.

"She says her problems aren't important. That there not a big deal."

"Wow now that selfless. Did she say anything else." Sakura looked at Tanner and suddenly started blushing.

"Uh nothing else. T- that's pretty much it." I looked back at Cathy. There was more question I needed answered.

'Will The Professor and Commander Koda come to the arena please.' I guess the next match is starting.

"Sakura, do you know anything about a Sayer?"

"Huh? Sayer? Sounds familiar."

"Why are asking Yusei?"

"Because after her first match, we talked then Melody Rocks came in. I stopped Cathy from slapping her and after I calmed her down this guy came in. She called him Sayer."

"I've heard of him mentioned only a few times. Most of my news comes from the old people that visit the shrine. I also get cable so that's out."

"Wait, then how were you invited to the tournament?" Even I have to admit I was curios.

"Oh this creepy little dude came to the shrine one day. He was asking for me and then handed me the invitation. He said that Director Goodwin said I had potential and wanted me to compete. But the thing is, I don't know how he knew I liked to duel. I mean my family hated the idea of me dueling so I did it in secret. I was about to decline until he threatened to tell my family." Figures it was Lazar.

"How'd you manage to come then?"

"Hehe I told them I was going on a self guidance travel. That I was visiting different shrines around the city."

"Wow aren't you the little rebel?"

"Hey I'm 18! I can't be a shrine maiden forever! I want to be a traveling duelist and teach kids everywhere how to duel!"

"Cool dream. I'll definitely support ya."

"R- really?"

"Ugh can you guy's flirt any louder?" We all stopped what we were doing and looked at a Cathy who was starting to wake up.

I was pretty much half awake from the moment Sakura was telling the boys how she got into the tournament. From what she was saying it definetly sounded like Clown Boy. But what did he want with Sakura? I slowly opened my eyes and sat up on a couch. I was in Yusei's garage that's for sure. I saw him on a chair that was close to me. Sakura and Tanner were standing next to each other on the other side of the room. Even though I couldn't read Yusei's emotions, in Sakura and Tanner's eyes I felt curiosity, worry, fear, and sadness. Jeez it's like those two think I'm dead!

"How are you feeling Cat?" Sakura asked while walking up to me. I was about to say I was fine until there was a grumbling noise.

"Hungry. That's how I'm feeling."

"Ha ha here why don't you guys go get food." Tanner said while handing Sakura some money.

"Oh but this is your money Tanner! We can't possibly take it!" Sakura tried to give the money back but Tanner wouldn't take it.

"Nah consider it a congrats for you three winning. Well I better get going. Good luck." And just like that Mr. Spikes was gone. Without a little spark in his eyes when he was looking at Sakura.

"Well what are we waiting for! Let's not waste his generosity! To thy food court!" I yelled while getting off the couch.

"For a girl who passed out you sure have a lot of energy." Sakura said while chuckling.

"It's food! And I'm hungry! Uh by the way, where's my back pack?"

"I put it on my duel runner." Yusei said while pointing at his red runner.

"Thanks!" I ran to it and checked to make sure everything was inside. After everything seemed good I quickly put it on.

"Are you coming with us Yusie?" Sakura asked the black spiky dude.

"It's okay. You girls enjoy yourselves." I did not like that idea! If I was going to eat so would he!

"Nuh uh! You are going to take a break with us." I said firmly like I was scolding a child.

"Cat, he says-"

"Nope. I won't hear it. Tanner said it was a treat for all three of us. That means you too Fudo. So either we all go, or we all don't. And that's final." Wow where did that come from. I crossed my arms and looked at Yusei. He seemed surprised but that shock left and he smiled a small smile. He got up from the chair and was now facing me.

"Alright. I guess you win."

"Ha yup! Now let's go! Food awaits my hungry tummy!" I started walking out the door leading the two.

After getting our food Sakura, Yusei, and I were in the competitors lounge. The Professor had just lost against Commander Koda. But it kind of felt as though The Professor lost on purpose.

'Will Akiza Izinski and Sir Gil Randsborg come to the arena!' Oh my gosh! I get to see Akiza duel! I just hope that her psychic powers don't over do it.

"Alright Akiza is up!" I cheered.

"You know her Cat?" Sakura asked me.

"Yup! She's really cool."

"How do you know her?" Oh no. Probably should've kept my mouth shut.

"Uh. I uh... Hey look the match is starting!" I looked at the screen and saw Akiza and Randsborg facing each other. It also seems that there was no data on Akiza either. Guess Mr. Swoop did the same thing.

As the match started, Randsborg did a combo with his Masked Knights that dealt 1400 point damage to Akiza! Dang! But she looked as though the attacks never touched her! On her turn she summoned Wall of Ivy in defense mode. Then activating Seed of Deception, she got to special summon Copy Plant.

"I guess she's going on the defense?" I heard Sakura say.

"Not likely." I knew immediately what Akiza was doing. With Copy Plant's ability she can chose one monster on Ransborg's field and copy it's level. That means with Masked Knight Lv 5 it's level 5 now. She was gonna synchro summon! Crud she gonna summon that card!

"Ugh!" Suddenly Yusei was hunched over and holding his arm.

"Yusei!" Me and Sakura called out. It was just like when I first met him.

"It's f- fine." Suddenly we heard a roar and I looked at the screen to see Black Rose Dragon there! I knew what the card was called because I asked Akiza what it was.

"N- no way... That's B- Black Rose Dragon..." I looked at Sakura and saw fear in her eyes. She was terrified.

"I know that card." I looked back at Yusei and he looked sorta better.

"Your lucky." We all turned around to see the buff dude! Greiger I think his name was. "That dragon is known for bringing destruction and ruin."

"Well the crowd is definitely afraid." Sakura said. I looked at the screen and noticed that everyone in the audience was calling Akiza a witch! How dare they! They don't even know her or the fact that there words are hurting her! Why do people judge others all because of some false rumors!

"Uh kid, you might want to release the burrito. It's already dead." I looked at what Greiger was talking about and saw I had killed my burrito all over my cloak. Great.

"I'm gonna go get some napkins." I said while getting up. I frankly didn't want continue watching. As much as I want to cheer for Akiza, I just can't handle the negative emotions around. When I got to the counter with paper towels I grabbed some and scrubbed the beans and rice off. After minutes of cleaning up I walked back to the others. I saw on the screen that Black Rose Dragon was gone and Akiza had 3 Rose Tokens on her field. Just how long was I gone?!

"Impressive. Those Rose Tokens she has can't be destroyed by battle. It's like she got an impenetrable wall. The question is, can she hold out?" Okay maybe this Greiger guy is getting on my nerves.

"What do you mean, Mr. Greiger?" Sakura asked a little timid. Guess she's afraid of Akiza being the Black Rose.

"Not even a pretty garden can stop Randsborg forever. I'm afraid it's only a matter of time, before that black rose gets clipped."

"She'll win this." I said with a lot of confidence. They all looked at me, asking me what did I mean. I started to subconsciously play with the ribbon, that I still had on, underneath my cloak sleeve. I could still see her green one on her wrist. "I just know it."

Randsborg's monster attacked one of the tokens. But even though it can't be destroyed she still took damage. Akiza was at 1550 LP while Randsborg had 1350. With his Glory Shields' effect Doppelganger was destroyed. And with Masked Knight LV 7's ability, Akiza got dealt with 1500 points of damage. So that means she has 50 LP left.

"Guess you were wrong Cat. Maybe the Black Rose isn't as powerful as we thought." Sakura said almost relieved.

"Just wait. It's not over yet." Yusei said this time.

"And why do you think that?"

"Because she's just getting warmed up."

"Hmm. So what, do you guys have some sort of mystical bond?" I immediately stopped focusing on the match and looked at Yusei, or the uh back of his head. I am behind the couch. But still, him and Akiza?! Woah! Now that's something I didn't see coming!

I looked back at the duel and saw that Akiza was destroying her Black Garden with her Rose Tokens. With that combo she can summon Black Rose Dragon from her graveyard. Yet Masked Knight LV 7 gained its original attack points also.

"Guess this duel is over." Greiger said confidently. I just smirked and folded my arms in front of chest.

"Yeah. For Gil." I said with just as much confidants.

"Uhm Cat. No offense but do the math. His knight has more Atk points." I looked at Sakura and smiled even bigger.

"Yeah but Black Rose Dragon is about to get added a whole bunch of points." And of course I wasn't wrong. With her monsters second ability, Akiza removes from play Wall of Ivy and Randsborg's monster is now at 0 Atk points. And just like that, the match was over. "Told ya."

"W- wow... This is the power of the B- Black Rose." Sakura said shaken up. I picked up my backpack and turned around then started walking out of the lounge. I didn't really want to leave. But Señor Swoop said I could only stay until the end of Akiza's match. I was walking through the hallways when someone called to me.

"Where are you going?" I looked behind me and saw Yusei. Even if I couldn't read his emotions, he looked a little panicked. I smiled a small smile and turned fully around.

"Gotta go. Places to be. People to see. All that sorta stuff." I really wanna stay. But I can't tell him that.

"Where are you gonna go?"

"Why do you wanna know? You gonna stalk me or something?" He seemed silent and was thinking on what to say. After awhile he spoke again. This time determined to get an answer.

"Is it true?"

"Huh?"
