: Hey guys I know it's late but I just had to post this! I couldn't stop the creative juices! Anyway, so this chapter is mor about Cat in the tournament during the matches. Btw the pendant is silver with a blue stone, and the two girls on top is new OCs. You'll see them in this chapter! I do not own Yugioh 5ds! Only the OCs! Hope you all enjoy!

It's been maybe 15 minuets since my loss with Cat. I finally got out of Luna's clothes which I'm happy about. Now I was walking with Luna and Dexter, and they were trying to cheer me up but I wasn't listening to them. I can't help but wonder if Cat was okay.

Flashback

After me and Cat let go of each others hands I looked up at her and was going to tell her good job. But when I looked at her I saw she was glaring at something up ahead. I turned to what she was looking at and saw a man with dark red hair and swooped up bangs at one of the arena entrances. He was looking right at Cat and he looked really mad. I looked back at Cat and saw that she had some sweat rolling off her forehead. Was she scared?

"Um Cat-?" But she didn't look at me. She started walking towards him and when they were shoulder to shoulder, or head to chin she was sorta small compared to him, she stopped. He said something to her and I saw her turn her head to him and say something back. Then she kept walking away. He looked shocked but then smiled and followed Cat.

End of flashback

"I hope that with this loss you will also learn from it." I stopped walking and saw Yusei leaning on a wall. Wait what he said is sorta like what Cat said. I started to laugh at how similar those two were. Well Cat was more fiery then Yusei, but they do still have the motivation thing down.

"Oh great did you hit your head when you lost?" Luna asked cause of my laughing.

"Nah~ I just think it's funny." I answered while putting my arms behind my head.

"What do you mean Leo?" Dexter asked.

"Well what you said Yusei. It was sorta the same thing Cat said after our match. It was just the thing to cheer me up." I looked at Yusei and saw that he had a small smile on his face.

"Just like her." He said quietly. What does he mean by that? Now that I think about it, yes I think, but Yusei has been looking at Cat a lot. Ever since that whole speech thing she did and when she pulled her hood down. Woah what if she was his ex sidekick but something happened and now she doesn't want to remember him! That means he really is a superhero!

"Uh hello? Earth to Leo. Anyone home?" I was snapped out of it by Luna who was waving her hand in front of my face.

"Huh? Oh sorry I was spacing out."

"*sigh* I asked what did she say?"

"Oh yeah! She said that with just more practice I could-"

"Excuse me!" I turned and saw Akiza, I think her names was, fast walking towards us. When she walked past Yusei she glared at him. Then she kept walking. Me, Luna, and Dexter moved out of her way. I just stared at where she walked away.

"Jeez what's her problem?" I asked to no one in particular. But I did get an answer.

"Eh I wouldn't let it bother you." Said a familiar voice. We turned around and saw Cat. She had her cloak on with a blue and white backpack on her shoulders. Her cloak was slim enough to where she could put a hand on her hip. In her other hand was a, corn dog? Uh ok?

"Cat!" I yelled while running up to her and hugging her. I couldn't help it. For some reason she made me feel safe.

I smiled at Leo and put the corn dog in my mouth to hug him back. After he let go I took a bite and held it by the stick in my hand. Then I swallowed.

"Hey kiddo. What's up? Taking my advice by heart?"

"Yup! And I'll definitely beat you next time!" I just laughed at his eagerness. And held out my unoccupied hand into a fist. He smiled and fist bumped it.

"I look forward to it then."

"Oh yeah! Cat I want you to meet my friends and sister!" He grabbed my hand and pulled me to the others. I would tell him I already knew their names, but I didn't want to be rude. "Okay so this cool dude is Dexter! He's my best friend!" Leo said while slinging his arm around the boys shoulder.

"Uh hi." He said softly. I could tell he was nervous. Probably because of my fiery temper. Way to go you've just scared a poor boy!

"Hehe it's okay, I don't bite." I said while eating my corn dog. He looked at me and smiled.

"And the girl over here is my sister Luna! She was the one you were supposed to face, but she didn't want to compete so as you know I took her place!" I looked at her and we both smiled. She looked a lot like Leo. I could see why maybe people would get them confused if they twin switched. I decided to be silly and grabbed the flowing parts of my cloak and bowed like a princess.

"How do you do my fair lady and gents. Would any of you care for half a corn dog?" I said while doing some weird accent and offering my half eaten corn dog. They just laughed and I giggled.

"Haha! Oh yeah there's another cool person I want you meet!" He grabbed my hand again and turned me around where I saw Yusei. He was looking right at me and I felt a little nervous. I mean after I yelled at him like that, before me and Leo's match, why wouldn't I be? "This is my friend, Yusei! But you probably knew that after you yelled at the audience! That was awesome!" I smiled sheepishly and felt heat rise to my cheeks from embaresment.

"Uh I- I wouldn't say that."

"Oh come on that was totally cool! I mean you practically told more than a thousand people to shut up!"

"Uhhhh..."

"Leo I think that's enough." Luna said while going to her brother and placing a hand on his shoulder.

"What do you mean? I mean she was super awe-" I saw that Luna gave him a stern look and then she nodded towards me. He just looked at me and I knew he could see my red face while I naw on the stick of what's left of my corn dog. It was now silent and I didn't like that either. I was about to tell them I had to leave when I saw Yusei holding out his hand. I looked up into his deep blue eyes and then all that embarrassment left me.

"I never got to thank you for that. That was really something." I smiled a big smile and took his hand.

"No prob. Just let it be a warning that I hold nothing back." I said with a wink. Was I flirting?!

"Then I hope to see you in the finals then."

"Ha if you think you can make it to me then!" I am! I am flirting!!!! Oh come on?! I barely know the dude! Sorta. But the way we're talking, it's like we've been old friends for a long time. We were still holding hands and looking at each other when I suddenly felt something hit me and push me towards Yusei! I was about to fall onto him if he didn't catch me by the waist and kept me upright! My head was now on his chest and my hands were on his shoulders! I was about to say sorry when I heard an obnoxious laugh.

"Oh I'm sorry, I mistook you for trash!" I turned around and saw the brunette girl with the bow in her hair and white dress, laughing at me. "But then again who wouldn't mistake you for trash if you dress like that?" She said while still laughing that stupid laugh. I decided to play fire with fire.

"Oh I'm sorry we're you talking to me or to yourself?" She stopped laughing and glared back at me.

"Watch it. I'll have you know my name is Melody Rocks." This bowhead was the same height as me with brunette hair that went down past her chest. She had light blue eyes. Her bow was big and black, and I think it was as big as her head! Her dress was just plain white with gold sparkles. She also had thigh high white boots on.

"Congrats you can say your name. Miss Bowhead."

"Miss-! Ah why you! I just came to tell both of you that the title of Queen will be mine. And I won't let some bad mouth commoner who can't dress," That left a tic mark on my head, "or some Satellite criminal scum ruin any chance." She started laughing again and I suddenly got another spark of anger come through my body. I was about to raise my arm to slap that stupid bowhead for what she said but I felt a hand holding my wrist back.

"Would Melody Rocks and Inu Howl, please come to the arena!" The announcer said. The girl stopped laughing and started walking away. When she was gone I felt the hand leave my wrist but I didn't turn around. Cause I knew who held it.

"Uh... Me, Leo, and Dexter are goin back to our seats... So uh... Bye guys!" I heard Luna say but I didn't care. When they left I decided to speak.

"Why? Why did you stop me?" I asked while keeping my head down and facing away from Yusei.

"Because if you hit her you would've been disqualified." I did turn around now and looked at Yusei. Since the anger was still there, not even looking into his eyes would calm me down.

"You think I care if I get disqualified?!"

"Then what do you care about?" He asked still calm.

"I care to know why people like her can get away with saying stuff like that! What she said was uncalled for! She deserved a good smack!" I felt something snap in my clenched hand and realized it was the corn dog stick. I could feel the wood dig into my skin.

"And if you did slap her what would you do next?"

"I- I don't kn- know! But I know that no one should degrade someone by their looks even if they don't know them!!!!" I yelled still in frustration.

"I know. But it's just their fear. They don't know anything about Satellite and what they've been told is what makes them fear it." He said still all calm. I looked down again. I now had no more words or anger. Who was this Yusei Fudo?

"Who are you?" I whispered but I knew he heard me.

"Cath-"

"Cat." I heard someone call my name. I turned around and saw Sayer standing a few feet away. I was too tired from my match and outburst to even care.

"Sayer?" I just looked at him. But I saw that he wasn't looking at me but at Yusei. Then he looked at me and smiled which is surprising since what I said to him.

Flashback

I let go of Leo's hand and when I looked in front of me and saw Señor Swoopola at the arena entrance. Great just what I needed. I glared at him and decided to go see what he wanted. When I walked to him I stopped by his shoulder.

"You disobeyed me. I gave you orders and you broke them." I couldn't take it anymore and wanted to give him a little piece of my mind. I looked at him and spoke.

"I'm sorry Mr. Swoop, but I'll never be a puppet to someone holds too many secrets to count." Then I just walked a way.

End of Flashback

"Cat you don't look so good. I think you should get some rest." He offered his hand but I just looked at it with disgust.

"No thanks I'm fine. Besides I have to stay here and watch the other matches." I turned around and walked past Yusei to where the other contestants wait at. When I got there I sat down on a couch and leaned forward putting my head in between my hands.

I wasn't even paying attention to Bowhead and Inu's match. But I did hear that Miss Bowhead won, great. Next was Hypnosis Jones and Lee Shang. Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see the girl with purple hair and kimono in front of me. She held out a tea cup to me. I smiled and took it and I smelled it. It smelt of vanilla and Jasmine. I took a sip and immediately felt a whole lot better.

"You looked like you could use some sweetness." I looked up at the girl and nodded.

"Yeah, thank you. I'm sorry but I don't remember your name." She just laughed and took a seat next to me.

"That's all right. My name is Sakura Hamada. And your Cat Simmons. Your match was really great." Sakura had purple hair that was held up to both sides of her head in loops. She had red eyes and a pink kimono with a red sash. I looked into her eyes and felt joy and freedom. She felt like nothing could go wrong with the world. Wow if only I had that kind of carelessness.

"Hehe thanks Blossom." I said while smiling. She looked at me confused.

"Blossom?"

"Yeah. Your name, Sakura, means cherry blossom. So I thought it was fitting. Do you not like it?"

"Hmmm. I like it! Thanks Cat!" I just smiled and looked at the screen where Hypnosis Jones was beating Lee. "Oh my look at your hand! Here let me wrap that!" I looked down and remembered me breaking the corn dog stick and the splinters in my hand. Great.

She came back with tweezers and gauze. She took my hand again and started pulling out the little pieces of wood. It hurt a little bit and for the ones that were deep I squealed. When she was done she wrapped my hands. We mostly talked during the procedure and even talked about how Hypnosis Jones won.

"There we go! All done! I have to go now Cat. I need to get ready for my match." Wait match? I looked at the screen and saw that it was Sakura and that Amy Spears girl facing each other. I really need to pay more attention!

"Um okay. Good luck!" She smiled and started to walk away. I then grabbed my backpack and started to look through it. When I thought I had found what I was looking for a familiar white dress came into my view. I inwardly growled.

"If your looking for trash it's on your face." Ooooo! What was stopping me from smacking her face again?!

I looked up and came face to face with the blue eyed girl I really didn't need to see right now.

"Oh really? Cause I thought I was looking at it right now?"

"Ugh whatever. I just came to tell you that the title of Queen will be mine." She said while flipping her hair back. I stood up and started walking away.

"Whatever. Like I care about some stupid title. All I'm here for is..." That's right. I'm not here to be in this tournament for fun. I'm here to get answers. But where do I start?

I started walking away not caring that Bowhead was still talking to me. I started walking around the stadium. A couple times someone would come up to me and say great match or something along those lines. I didn't know where I was going but I suddenly found my self in a garage. I turned on the light and saw the garage was medium sized and held a lot of tools. They looked like mechanic tools. Then I saw a tarp over I guess a motorcycle.

"Wow so many tools." I said while walking around the garage. I went to a desk and saw a computer with wires going to the motorcycle. Next to the computer was a picture of 4 people. There was a boy with dark blue hai inn a pony tail and glasses. Then a semi buff looking guy sitting down and brow hair. A tall dude wearing a blue bandana in front of a kid, with long curly hair and a yellow hat.

"Who's in here?" I immediately put the picture back and turned around and saw Yusei standing at the door way. He looked at me a little confused. I guess because I just appeared into this garage.

"Uh I'm sorry. I was looking for the... Uh... Bathroom?" I mentally face palmed. Bathroom? Really Cat? That's the best you could come up with?

"It's down the hall to the left." He said not entirely convinced. Yeah I didn't think so.

"Haha. Yeah, I can hold it." I started looking down and played with the hem of my cloak sleeve. Great now what? We seemed to not talk for forever.

"So what are you really doing here?" He asked while going to the computer and started typing on it. Was he mad?! Did I do something wrong?! Wait, why do I even care?

"I got lost." I mumbled while looking back down. I heard a light chuckle.

"Course you did." Yusei said while still typing.

"And what's that supposed to mean?!" I asked annoyed and puffing one of my cheeks. He turned and looked at me. I suddenly saw him give me a small smile and poke at my cheek.

"Exactly what it means." My eyes widen at the words. I put my hand on the cheek he poked and turned around quickly so my back was facing him.

"Yeah, well, don't get buddy buddy with me. I'm still mad that you stopped me from hitting that bowhead." I paused as I thought about what else to say. "But thank you. I'm surprised you can handle my outburst like that."

"Your welcome." I turned back to face him and smiled big. Not being able to read his emotions kinda calms me. I'm not so overwhelmed and his eyes definitely help a lot. I looked at the motorcycle under the tarp and walked to it.

"What's this?"

"It's my duel runner. I'm just tuning it up for my match." I grabbed the cloth and wanted to pull it off. I looked back at Yusei.

"You mind?" He just shook his head.

"Go ahead." I quickly pulled the cloth off and stared at the runner before me. It big, red and white, and also very shiny! I like it!

"Wow! You made this?!" I asked while rubbing my hands on the back of it.

"Yeah. With some help from my friends." I don't know why but his voice sounded a little sad. I turned and faced him and saw him looking at the picture of the four people.

"Are they okay?" Yusei just stayed quiet. My guess was he was probably thinking about them. I went up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Yusei, I-"

"Yo Yusei! You prep- Oh um hey." We both turned around and saw that buff guy with the turquoise spikes for hair. "Your little miss bull fighter."

"What did you call me?!" I said while stomping to him. He was way taller than me but I had a little spunk.

"Easy there kid. You definitely got a little mouth on you, don't ya?" He said while smirking and patting my head. "The names Tanner, Bolt Tanner. Nice to meet ya kid."

"Quit calling me kid!"

"Okay how old are you?" Now I could feel he was teasing me. Just trying to poke my buttons!

"I'm 16! At least I hope." I mumbled. Dang amnesia sucks.

"What was that?"

"Nothing, Mr. Spikes!" I said while going back to Yusei's duel runner and sitting on the seat cross legged.

"So Tanner, what can you tell me about this Shira?" Yusei asked while grabbing a wrench and working on the runner. He was right in front of me and I watched as he worked. I don't know why but this feels normal and so familiar.

"Well a couple of friends I know faced him a couple years back, in the underground duels."

"The what?" I asked.

"Underground Dueling is like illegal dueling." Tanner answered.

"Is it underground?"

"Pretty much, hence why it's called the underground duels. And according to my friends he wasn't exactly big on playing nice." Great this hooded figure might be some trouble. "He was calling himself the Shadow Reaper. And he never takes off those creepy robes."

"I'm suing his but for taking my look! Plus those robes probably smell!" I said while puffing one of my cheeks.

"Do you ever take off yours?" Tanner asked smugly.

"I have my reasons! So what are you going to do Yusei?" I looked at him and saw him putting his deck in his duel disk.

"Are you gonna use Stardust Dragon?"

"Stardust Dragon?" Why does that card sound familiar?

"It's one of Yusei's best monsters. It was stolen by Jack and he just got it back."

"I'm saving Stardust Dragon for my duel against Jack. And he's gonna wish he never gave it back to me."

"Uhhh. Wait! That means you're gonna go easy on me when I face you?! No fair!"

"Cat! There you are!" We all turned around and I saw Sakura. She was smiling really big and judging by all the happiness all around her, my guess was she won.

"Yo Sakura! Your match went well?" She walked up to me and still smiled.

"Yup! I guess you didn't see it?"

"I am so sorry! Little ms. Bowhead was trying to pick a fight with me."
