(Hey guys! I hope you like the story so far! I just randomly thought of the idea and decided to write it. Feel free to list your opinions!)
Dwayne's pov: The sun goes down and Jay went to the hospital to get her leg checked out. After we feed We all go to Max's house to talk with him. Hoping he'll allow us to bring her back to us.
"She's not safe there. Her boyfriend is a total dickwad! Let us bring her home please!" David pleas to Max. "No! She can get killed! See I knew I shouldn't of let you boys be around her!" He pinches the bridge of his nose. "He might hurt her! She needs to come home to us!" Marko steps forward filled with anger. "You can kill him after this is all over with but she needs to stay there until the other vampires are gone." Max huffs getting annoyed.
"Come on. Imagine it's a girl you love, wouldn't you want to bring her home too after seeing what she's going through?" I speak up trying to get guilt in him. "If it was a girl I loved yes of course I would want her home with me, but a mean boyfriend is way better then her getting killed. I would rather her deal with a mean boyfriend then get killed." He crosses his arms looking into each of our eyes. "Now keep it up and I'll make you guys stay back in the cave until she does come home!" He points his fingers at us.
"Well that was a bust!" Paul kicks a rock as we walk the boardwalk. "We got to do something, even if Max likes it or not." David grunts looking around. We go back to Jay's house and see she's still gone but Ryan is home with candles and wine on the dinner table. He pulls out a lasagna out of the oven and carefully sits it down on the table. "What is he doing?" I asks. Then the door opens and Jay wobbles in with a bandaged on her leg. She sees the candles and looks at Ryan confused. "Hey! I just wanted to apologize for earlier, I should of been more worried about your leg and less worried about you cooking and cleaning for me." He walks over to her wrapping an arm around her waist.

"I wanted to suprise you with a dinner date as a part of my apologie." He guides her to the table smiling wide. Her eyes light us as she scans the table seeing the set up he did. "You did this for me?" She looks up at him. "Yes I did, by the way how did the hospital go? Is your leg ok?" He sits her down. "It's ok just a little sprained." She looks down at her casted leg. "Is he actually being kind to her?" David asks looking at us making sure we see what he sees. "I guess so." I say shocked watching them chatter while drinking there wine. "About time init?" Marko rolls his eyes.
They are having a good time, Ryan will tell her funny stories and make jokes and her big smile will grow on her face as she's about to laugh. Giggling behind her hand trying to keep it under control. It's good to finally see her happy in this life, but it won't last long. He keeps apologizing and acting nice but the next day he's mean to her again. Leaving us wondering has she been stuck in this loop since the beginning? The times we all sat at the cave depressed cause she wasn't there, she was here getting yelled at then getting apologies to back to getting yelled at.
They finished the whole bottle of wine and they had music playing as they danced around the kitchen. Her hands clasped around his and they sway to the music with giggles popping out occasionally. Both big smiles on their faces. "Do you think she loves him?" Paul looks at us. David sits and thinks for a moment before speaking. "I think she does, but deep down she loves us too. Deep down she has our memories and feelings." "I hope she still does love us." Marko says picking at his jacket. Trying to jam the sadness back down to his core. Having fear in him that they'll never get her back, that she won't ever remember them or remember that she loves them.

We all feel the same thing. The same fears. In books and movies vampires are supposed to be scary heartless creatures. But instead we're just 4 vampires that is deeply in love with a human girl. Hoping that she'll come back to us. "I think she loves us more. We never mistreated her. While he is always yelling at her." I speak up watching them slow dance. "How come she can still love us if her memories of us were swiped?" Paul leans forward asking, with his blue eyes teary. "Because like we said Earlier, deep down she's still our mate, and still has feelings for us. Once Max restores her memories, her love for us will come back." I say smiling softly thinking about it.
I can't wait until that day comes. Max restoring her memories and she realizes were her mates and feels love for us again. Running into our arms with joy. I don't know when that day will come. None of us do, but we hope it's soon.

In the waning times of a costly war that spanned several firmaments, one world that was supposed to be cherished by the gods was cast to the wayside, and from everyone’s minds. This world - Berodyl - had flourished under the tender love of the gods for millennia… but no longer. Berodyl stood ready to aid the gods in their strife, but when the time came, the armies of this world never heard the call. They never even saw the battlefield. No. Instead, they found that, once the war had begun, the hierophants no longer heard the whispers of their sacred deities whom they had served so faithfully; only silence now filled the halls of their temples. Some even came from beyond Berodyl’s firmament to take to the sides of those who would fight for the gods. Alas, they soon found themselves stranded in a land abandoned— now, too, abandoned themselves. Now there is but one question weighing down on everyone: can a world such as this - a world once loved, now alone - survive with nought but its own? For an outlander such as Livia, the question seems nearly impossible to answer. The first book of The World The Gods Forgot.
