Marko's pov:
The others sent me and Paul out to get blood bags from Max so we don't have to leave to feed as much. Once we get them we start heading back to Jay's place. I feel someone smack into me and Paul. "OH no! I'm so terrible sorry!" We hear a familiar voice. A voice that once we hear we know who it is. We both look up seeing Jay gathering her groceries that spilled out of her bags. Our eyes widen and we turn and look at each other stunned. "No it's alright angel." I smile leaning down helping her pick up her items. "Yea let us help you." Paul leans down as well picking up too.
She stands up with her face looking flushed brushing her hair out of her face. "Silly me always being clumsy." She looks away shyly. "No it's ok. Clumsy is cute." Paul smiles looking at her. She looks at us smiling shyly. "Well thank you. Have I met you guys before?" She looks back and forth to me and Paul. We sit and think for a moment deciding on what to tell her. "No not that we know of. Trust me I would remember seeing a cute face like yours." I smirk trying not to blush.
She blushes looking up at us. "Oh well sorry you guys just look familiar, like I seen you before." She apologies. "Well I better get home, start dinner. Sorry again for bumping into you guys." She smiles. "No worries, hey do you want us to walk you home? It's dangerous out here at night for a lady to be walking alone." Paul chimes in hoping she says yes. "Coming from a random guy I just met. But for some reason I trust you, so sure why not." She chuckles. "Oh hey you left an apple." I say leaning down picking up the apple. She thanks me holding her small hand out to me. My hand brushes against hers as I hand her the apple. Feeling my breath hitch. It's been forever since I got to touch her.

Paul looks at me smiling. Even though we're just walking her home it still feels great to have this moment with her. Paul asks. "So Chica where do you live?" "I live walking distance from the store. Not to far." She turns back smiling at us. "Whats your guys names any way?" She questions. "Well my name is Marko." "And I'm paul." Paul says pointing his thumb at himself. "Nice names, my name is Jaylynn, but most people just call my Jay for short." She giggles walking by us. "I love that name." I turn to her smiling. "Your very pretty." Paul blurts out staring at her. I try to hold a chuckle back. This girl has us wrapped around her finger and she doesn't even know it.
"Thank you." She blushes while walking forward. We come up to her house and stop in the front. "Ok guys-- wait how did you guys know that this is my house?" She turns around rasing an eyebrow. "Wh-what you mean?" I ask picking at my thumb getting nervous. "You stopped in front of this house like you knew it was my house without me saying anything." She explains. "Oh well you were looking at it so I assumed it was yours." I say scratching the back of my head. Paul looks over at me nervously.
"I did? Oh well ok." She chuckles thinking about it. "Well this is my home, thank you guys for walking me home. I appreciate it. Goodnight." She smiles before stepping in the door. "Goodnight!" We both say to her before sneaking around to go through the window. "You would not believe what just happened!" Paul steps forward excitedly. David and Dwayne's eyes flick over to Paul listening.

"We ran into her! She bumped into us and dropped some of her groceries so we helped her pick them up and she said we looked familiar." Paul blurts out like a happy hyped up toddler. "Yea and we offered to walk her home since we were headed here." David raises an eyebrow. "How come you weren't invisible to her?" "Cause we didn't think we'd run into her so we let our guard down while out, and David I touched her." I lean forward to David. He just continues to stare at me with a hint of interest. "As I was handing her an apple she dropped, her hand brushed against mine and it felt good to touch her again." I hum closing my eyes thinking about it.
"I'm glad that you got to." David says patting my shoulder. Dwayne smiles at me. "Ok I can start dinner now." She says unpacking the groceries. She pulls out a glass pan and starts making Enchiladas. Ryan sits on his ass drinking a beer watching the news. After a good bit of time dinner is done and she makes her and Ryan a plate. Sitting down getting ready to eat.
All of us pop open a blood bag and sip on it watching them conversate while eating. "It took you awhile to pick up there Groceries." Ryan says putting food in his mouth, eye balling her. "Yea my clumsy self bumped into 2 guys and I dropped our groceries every where. They were kind enough to help me pick them up and walked me home so I could get here safe." She says swallowing her food. He stops picking at his food and he looks up at her annoyed. "Don't tell me you flirted with them."
Her smile wipes away and she stares down at her food. She knew he wouldn't be nice for long. "No Ryan I didn't." "Honestly I don't believe you. Why else let 2 strange men walk you home?" He leans closer to her mad.
"Honestly Ryan your ridiculous! Is it wrong for someone to be nice to me? Just cause someone is nice to me don't mean I'm flirting with them or there flirting with me." She pushes her plate back losing her appetite. "I had about enough of this anger you've been giving me!" Ryan shouts slamming his fist on the table. Jay stands up with anger in her eyes. "The anger I've been giving you? Really?! Your nothing but an ass to me constantly!" Ryan stands up and steps toward her clenching his teeth. He raises his fist punching her straight in the eye as she falls down crying.
David's vampire form appears with his eyes golden as the anger seeps through him. All of us feel angry and try to hold ourselves back from killing him. "Ok I've had enough of this jackass." David steps forward growling. Ryan stomps out of the house before David could do anything. "He's lucky he left, or I would of killed him!" He clenched his fists huffing. How dare he hit her, the sweetest and most perfect women on this earth gets abused for no reason.

Minglings
Without any previous indication, all the televisions, smartphones, and radios start broadcasting a message recorded by the government leaders of the world. In it, they explain a horrible tragedy that is about to befall us. Our earth will blend with what is considered to be the primary dimension after having been apart for an unknown amount of time. The merger will not only affect the world, but also the beings on it, and humanity must mingle with other species or die out. Everybody will need to determine the other-dimensional race to pick. The world leaders have known of this for many years and have tried preparing people by creating popular fiction, games, and movies. These are nothing more than tutorials of what is about to happen.

Author's disclosure: My purpose in this novel is to explore trading and adventure in a magic world. I'll try to put some humor and good fights in the novel to make it more fun. This is a spin-off novel of AK – The Alchemy Kingdom. You don't have to read the other novel to understand or follow this one. It might offer some additional information and entertainment, tough. You can also check my other spin-off novel, Harbinger of Death, which will be more action-focused and a little grimdark. Even if you are not a fan of the genre, give it a chance. I'm adding some soft romance in the hopes to make it unique and interesting. I'm trying to improve my writing skills, so your comments and reviews are welcome. New chapters three times a week. A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!
