*y/n's pov
All i could think of that night was Anakin Skywalker. His hair had grown, just above shoulder length in loose curls, his fearures more defined. He wasnt the Jedi I had met before, with buzzed hair and a thin braid running down his neck. No, he had grown, his features more masculine, defined. He held a sense of dominace when in his presence, more powerful than when we last met. It was intoxicating.
I'd woken up in an unfamiliar room, on an unfamiliar planet. It's like everything had happened so fast, and now I was on my way to the Council, where I would recieve the news on whether they'd accept me or not to train as a Jedi. I just had to put on my best act, and pray Palpatines plan would work.
I paced through the corridors of the Jedi Temple, I was already late. It had to seem as though I'd had a change of heart, like I actually wanted to be here. I'd also been working on fortifying my mind, and now I was much more capable than before when it came to blocking out mind readers.
After climbing the many steps inside the temple to reach the Council, I burst open the doors to be met with many important faces staring right at me.
"You're late," Spoke Mace Windu,"Please," He gestured to the centre of the room, where I stepped forward onto the circular marking.
My eyes flicked between each of the faces before me, resentment swelling up inside at each one, apart from Palpatine.
I felt a stabbing in my chest when my eyes met with Skywalkers, in that brief moment where our minds interlocked, I felt a similar pain from him too.
"Made our decision, we have," an ancient, wise person spoke. Yoda. My head immediately turned to him, and I clung onto his words, waiting to hear what he had to say. Odd, I'd never been this excited about the prospect of becoming a Jedi, and a small smirk appeared on my face.

"Y/n, after thorough discussion amongst members of the Council and much research into your background, your skills, your dedication you've shown to a cause, even if it's a bad one, and finally, permission from Senator Palpatine himself," Windu began. My heart beat rapidly in my chest. I could feel the eyes on me, all watching intently for my reaction, for any signs of malice towards the Jedi. "We are granting you the position of a Padawan."
I plastered a smile onto my face, bowing my head down. It'd worked, the Jedi had fallen directly into our trap, the Empire would triumph at last.
"Thank you for this opportunity. I will devote myself to becoming a Jedi to bring down the Empire that destroyed me. I've had a change of heart, and I'm willing to prove it to you." I said, "You won't regret this."
"I should hope not," Spoke up another Master,"As we've decided to pair you with one of our most promising and excellent Padawans. If Anakin Skywalker proves that he is capable of completing your training, then he shall be granted the rank of Master."
What!? Wasn't he a Master already?
I saw him fidgeting uncomfortably in his chair,"Now hold on a minute- you know we've had our past run-ins, isn't there the danger that she could easily turn on me?" Anakin said, his eyes pleading with Yoda.
"Our decision is final. Prove yourself then you will be granted the rank of Master," Mace Windu spoke impatiently, it made me wonder if this wasn't the first time Anakin had caused some disruption.
Anakins eyes turned to the floor in shame, he was helpless.
Still as pathetic as before. I smirked.
His head lifted slowly to face mine, his eyes narrowed and his brows furrowed slightly. He shook his head, looking away. Woops, guess he had heard me. Our training wasn't going to be awkward at all.

"Dismissed, you are," Yoda said. I bowed slightly at them, causing my skin to crawl from the absurdity of the act, before leaving the cylindrical room.
Once out, I let my back collapse on the wall next to the door, slouching into the hard material. I shut my eyes, breathing deeply, trying to focus on what I was going to do next. The mission was to turn Anakin Skywalker to the Dark Side.
I suppose being paired together would have some benefits then.
I smirked, my eyes still shut, imagining Skywalker bowing to Palpatine, to the Empire. All the time we'd spent trying to murder one another, and yet we'd soon end up being on the same side... if I played my cards right.
I felt a firm hand nudge my shoulder,"Come on then Padawan, we have training to do." His deep voice came from next to me.
