______3rd Person POV___________________
It had been a long day for (Y/N) today; oversleeping this morning, being late for work, having to grab some extra hours, and having to walk home in the rain, since she forgot her raincoat and umbrella.
She didn't have enough money to get a taxi, nor did she have enough to ride the subway to the station near her shared apartment.
(Y/N) lived with her boyfriend of 3 years; Hitoshi Shinsou. They had lived together in an apartment for about a year now, and both had their own separate jobs to help pay for it.
Shinsou was able to become a pro hero, and prove to himself and others that his quirk isn't a villain's quirk, which made (Y/N) really proud of him. She supported him, and cheered him on during his journey as a hero.
Yes, she did worry about him when he was working, afraid he might get hurt, but at the same time, she trusted him.
(Y/N), on the other hand, didn't want to be a pro hero, even if her quirk was most powerful and useful to heros. Instead, she took up working as a (*job of choice*). Of course, her job was pretty far away from her apartment, but she didn't mind it. She enjoyed her work, and the people there.
Currently though, she hated her job, since it was so far away.
"D*mnit Shinsou...pick up please..." She said under her breath, as she stepped in a huge puddle, ruining her new shoes. She cursed at the puddle, not paying attention to what was in front of her.
Looking up for a second, she couldn't act fast enough, and tripped over her feet. She tried to use her quirk, but remembered she shouldn't, and accepted her fate; she ran into a traffic pole.
Feeling the cold metal hit her body, caused her to fall back into the puddle, which she ruined her shoes in.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?" She yelled out, quickly standing up and feeling her body drip of water. She growled, which earned a few stares and confused looks her way. Many people walked pass though, ignoring her angry puffs. (Y/N) took a big sigh in, looking down at her phone again, only to see that there's not one single notification. Actually, there wasn't a single thing that popped up.
She shook her phone gently, trying to turn it on, but she was met with a 'battery dead' screen. Biting her lip, and rolling her eyes, she shoved the useless thing in her pocket, and continued to stomp home, not trying to shelter herself from the rain anymore.

Seeing the small apartment complex come into view, after about 10 minutes of walking, (Y/N) started to jog, trying to get there quicker.
It was getting late, and the sun was now almost completely shadowed from shining. (Y/N) smiled slightly as she hurried into the building.
She took a second, and let a sigh of relief, finally not feeling the rain on her skin.
Looking over at the lady at the desk, she walked over to her, smiling, her (h/c) locks dripping wet rain down to the marble floor.
"Hello Mrs. Katherine. I'm here to pick up the mail," she smiled at the older lady, seeing her wrinkles crinkle together as she smiled back. Her grey eyes peered at (Y/N) as she nodded at her, and lifted a hand up.
"No need to worry about it, (Y/N), your boyfriend stopped by earlier and picked it up. He was such gentleman!"
Oh, I guess Shinsou's home early?
Mrs. Katherine handed a few coins instead of the mail, and looked up, meeting the girl's (e/c) eyes.
"But since your clothes seem to be wet, here's a few cents to help you out with dry cleaning,"
"Oh! Thank you very much Mrs. Katherine," (Y/N) thanked the elder woman, and said her goodbyes to her, leaving towards the elevator. She walked in, and pressed her floor, watching the door shut as she waited patiently.
Eventually, (Y/N) made it to her apartment, grabbing the keys to her apartment, she inserted them in, and twisted them, watching the knob turned slightly with the movement.
Pushing the door open, she walked in and set down the small bag she had with her, and gently closed the door behind her.
"Shinsou, I'm home-!" (Y/N) seemed to quiet her voice.
That's weird...he's not here?
Looking around the living room, she took notice of his absence. He usually would be chilling on the couch, either sleeping or watching TV. But he was doing neither.
She continued to walk in, looking around, she had quiet steps as she looked in the closet, wondering if he was hiding from her and about to surprise her. He wasn't.
Walking towards the kitchen, she couldn't find him. Instead, she found a pink purse along with a matching fedora on the small dinner table.
Who the hell's is this???
Walking towards the small hallway (since the apartment was a decently good sized place), she took notice of the smalls sounds coming from the bedroom.

Hearing these sounds, she could see the bedroom door was slightly open. So using her quirk, (Y/N) took a mirror and used it to peek into the bedroom.
What she saw shattered her heart and mind.
Shinsou was there in bed with another woman. Both were on top of each other, getting at it.
The sight of them broke (Y/N).
She could feel the wet hot tears stream down her cold face, as she held a hand over her mouth, muffling her cries. She quickly charged towards the living room, grabbing her bag and shoving everything she needed with her into the bag.
Luckily, she had a basket of unfolded clothes in the living room, so she quickly grabbed some clothes and kept them with her.
She could still hear the two from the room, and continued to pack, looking over at the fedora, she felt her cries of sadness turn into anger.
Walking over, she snatched the fedora, and walked out of the apartment. Making sure she had everything she needed, she slammed the door, and walked down the hall, towards the elevator.
Walking in, and pressing a button, she watched the elevator doors close, but not before the view of Shinsou emerged from down the hallway.
Looking at him, (Y/N) felt one year stream down her face as she wiggled the pink fedora in front of her, and then giving him the bird.
The doors then closed, and (Y/N) realized that their relationship together was over. She didn't understand what drove him to do that to her though, which caused her confusion. But she was still angry with him. She looked down, seeing her phone had mange to turn on with only a few bars of battery left.
Quickly she swiped over to her messages and decided to text a close friend of hers.
Making her way down the street, she peered up to her apartment window, seeing a certain purple haired hero looking down at her, with a short brown haired girl next to him.
(Y/N) shook her head, and kept it low, her tears continuing to stream down her (now) red cheeks. Her eyes seemed to be puffy, and her vision was blurry as she walked down the dark street.
She didn't care at this moment if she got mugged, jumped, or even attacked by a villain. (Y/N) felt like she didn't really matter anymore.
Clearly he has someone else, better than me, in his life. I'm just useless and worthless. I don't mean anything to him or anyone else. They all just leave me, or replace me with someone better. Why should I care what- no, WHO he's doing. It doesn't matter. I'm not even his girlfriend anymore.
Looking up, she looked at the beautiful lights of the city, taking in the view. She started to calm down, a few tears leaving her eyes like waterfalls every now and then.
Taking in the lights, she noticed at she was in Bakugou's neighborhood finally, surprised that she was already there.
Must've been in my head for a while that I lost track of where I was...
She walked over to the designated of the said blonde, and knocked.
As the door opened, she looked at her best friend, the look of sympathy clearly on his features as he looked down at her.
He brought her inside and quickly started to take care of her, helping her with her clothes (no, not like that, you dirty people), and got her some food and cold medicine, since she started to cough and had a temperature when she got there.
Laying down on Bakugou's couch, being taken care of, gave her a sense of hope and joy as she felt relieved to be cared for. She felt so warm and calm being here, the complete opposite she felt when she saw Shinsou today.
Looking up at a worried Katsuki, she smiled and thanked him.
He nodded and reashurred her, as she started to close her eyes, clearly tired from all the walking she had to do today, and all she had to put up with today.
Looking up, she swore she could see Shinsou's face, but after blinking a few times, she saw Katsuki lean down and kiss her forehead.
"Get some rest, you idiot,"
Smiling, she felt herself drift deeper into darkness as her head turned to the side, her breathing slowing down slightly. She smiled and thought to herself.
I hope it gets better...

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
