Alex wanted us all to meet on the bridge of flowers as a final send off for Gabe, and even though I didn't feel like I should be at the wake I'm going to this for Ryan and for Alex. We all slowly make our way there some walking together some on their own. Ryan is stood with a lantern ready to send off. "I didn't speak this morning. I couldn't. Hearing everyone talk about him, about the life he had here, with all of you. I lost the chance to have that. But even though I only had one day with him, he changed my life. I said I didn't know if I belonged here, he told me that home isn't something you find its something you build."

Alex and Ryan then let the lantern float away while Alex says "I love you Gabe."

We all stand next to the railing of the bridge and watch the light drift away but a new light takes its place, the happiness of his friends but there is something off so I look to my right and notice Diane. She doesn't have a yellow glow to her, instead its a deep violet, fear, what is she so scared of. I glance at Alex and see she has spotted it as well but there isn't any point dwelling on that now, we are here for Gabe not her.

I might not have known him but I know he was a good man.
