Viktor walked out of the pack house and into the yard. He walked to the edge of the forest and took a deep breath. Clearing his lungs of the wolf scent. He and the others had just finished a meeting with the Alpha and Beta and had yet to see a reason to sign a treaty.

During dinner the Omegas had cooked, served and cleaned the dishes. They had also not eaten with the rest of the pack, which the vampires had not liked. Omega's weren't servants so why did they have to do all the work.

Right now he could see one or two Omega's passing the windows in bed rooms cleaning the pack mates room and collecting the laundry to wash to return in the Morning before lunch.

Viktor took another look back at the house before stepping into the forest. He wandered through the forest looking at the plants and little animals he saw.

He came close to a clearing when he heard someone talking, blocking his scent Viktor made his way closer to the clearing when he saw a small boy sitting near the end of the lake holding a guitar. That's when he realized what he wanted to talk about was singing. Viktor pauses, wanting to hear what the person was singing.

"But I can't wait to go home

I'm on my way

Driving at ninety down those country lanes

Singing to "Tiny Dancer"

And I miss the way you make me feel, and it's real

We watched the sunset over the castle on the hill

And Viktor was mesmerized, the boy had the most beautiful voice he had ever heard. Wanting to get closer to he moved forward but stepped on a twig making the boys head snap to his direction. Viktor couldn't see his face though, he used his speed to move behind a different tree trying to see the face of the boy with the beautiful voice.

The boy's head followed his shadow from one tree to the other. He watched as the boy hoped of the rock he was perched on and placed his guitar in its case and shifted into a white wolf.

The breeze blew, and the scent of the boy hit his nose. Mate. His instincts screamed at him as he watched the white wolf run away into the woods.
