Hello, Gabrielle!
We're extremely happy to hear from you and are happy that you're interested in working with us. We sent you the plane tickets and we expect you next week. Amelia is very excited to meet you and so am I and my husband.
Our driver will pick you up from the airport when you land and he will take you straight to our house where you'll meet us all and settle in.
We all look forward to it!
With love,
Rosalyn Holt

I think back to my life these past few weeks. For a month, I've only been preparing to leave. Leave this life behind and start somewhere new. Somewhere fresh. With new people. People who don't know me and I don't know them. People who don't know my past and will only know my future.
I'm sitting on the train for the last time today, staring at the letter in my hands. The paper's already all crumbled because I took it everywhere with me as a reminder and as something to calm me down.
In a few days, things will be different for me. Hopefully better.
"Mademoiselle? Je crois que c'est votre station," the conductor says kindly, reminding me that I have to get off the train.
I turn my head away from the window. I've been too busy staring at our surroundings to notice we're approaching our station. But then again, I bought the ticket to nowhere, basically. I chose some place I haven't been to before to play a tourist one last time and memorise it all before I leave it for some time.
Will I miss it? Hardly. There's nothing much to miss here for me.
"Ah, oui. Merci," I reply back and give him a half-smile. That's the only thing I can muster.
I grab my things and walk towards the exit, staring at my reflection in the glass doors.
In a few days at this exact time, things will be different.
Better or worse – but they'll be different.
Although it's hard to imagine it can get worse than this.

Apocalypse King: Progression System LitRPG
Hail, Apocalypse King! A LitRPG where the MC fights the System Apocalypse Invaders with military training, dark magic, and a Humanity, Fuck Yeah attitude! Hounded by trauma from combat and his childhood upbringing, Sergeant DeSean Solomon left the U.S. Marines and attends college alone. While at a house party, the world as DeSean knows it ends. All of humanity receives a System notification. Do you wish to be saved from the taint of chaos? A countdown starts. Time is of the essence. To say yes will transform you into a monstrous zealot controlled by a genocidal eldritch invader. To say no is to be marked for the slaughter and forced into a high-stakes and vicious survival game. Even with the introduction of system progression stats, magical powers, and contracts with otherworldly creatures, all signs point toward the earth and its people getting subjugated. Or suffering a worse fate. Unless DeSean has a say in it. When the end of the world comes knocking, it's not a hero or someone with a special bloodline that rises to the occasion. It's a slightly demented Marine Veteran who storms the breach, summoning demons, evoking dark magic, and using all of his military skills and System Skills to bring down the enemy. Disciple.
I was there before Death was born. I was there when the Sea of Chaos formed. I was there when the first universe was born. I was there when life appeared for the first time. I was there at the dawn of time, and will be there for its twilight. Long story short I am old and powerful. I would be called an Eldritch Abomination by many among you. This however is not my story. This is the story of my favourite human, a man who managed to surpass my expectations until the day of his death. A man to whom I personally taught the deepest secrets of Creation. The story of my Disciple, born to a world within the Fayd. A man who was called many names. Godkiller, Guardian of the Gates of Death, My Left Hand, Destroyer, The End by his enemies. That Crazy Dude by his allies. I call him Sam-Sam, mainly to annoy him. But primarily, this is a story of a man doing his life right. With all my wisdom I can’t think of him living a better life than he did, given his circumstances. So gather round, for the story of my dear friend. Not a litrpg.

Alterea: The JoaT
An average teenager is randomly transported into another world by the whims of a god. Given no reason and no goals to go for, he was forced to start fresh in the beautiful world of Alterea. Bringing with him his averageness and (probably) wise mind, he ventures forth to a path unknown. This fiction was solely made for my own entertainment. Expect amateur writing and mistakes, as well as an inconsistent schedule.
