Lumine, Paimon, and Kaeya now on the way back to Mondstats. 3 of them already finished all of the commission for today. It was silent but not awkward. Each of them enjoys the scenery of the forest and how bright the sky with the bird singing.
"HELP!"
"Huh? Is there someone to say help?" Paimon says.
"HELP ME!"
"It is!" Lumine starts running towards the voice with Kaeya in her back. The voice only gets louder and in the middle of clearing, they see a beautiful girl with blonde hair and blue eyes been surrounded by many hilicurls and slime.
Without thinking Kaeya and Lumine dash towards her, defeating all of the monsters in a matter of time.
"Are you okay, fair lady?" Kaeya pulls her up and processes to calm her.
"I'm okay good sir. Thank you for saving me." The girl said bow to Lumine and Kaeya.
"Nah... It's okay. But may I ask why you wandering to the forest like this."
"Paimon! She just calms down!"
"Paimon just curious. Didn't mean to offend you."
"Don't worry. I'm a traveler from Fontaine and go around the Teyvat to learn about the herbal plant."
"herbal? Ah! Is that mean you a doctor?" Kaeya says.
"Yes. Soon-to-be-doctor." She smiles. Both 3 of them feel their heart go around.
''So beautiful!'' They thought.
"If that case, will you come with us to Mondstats? Is not save here." Offer Kaeya.
"Okay. I also on my way to Mondstat." All of them start walking towards Mondstat didn't even notice a small smirk on the girl's face.
(Skip~skip~)
"May I ask for your beautiful name?" Kaeya starts to flirt with her. She only giggles at his attempt.
"My name is Elena. Nice to meet you, sir?"

"Kaeya. This is Lumine and her emergency food, Paimon."
"Hey!" Laughter broke from Elena mouth.
"Sorry for a laugh but see all of you very close like this somehow it's entertaining."
"S-Sir Kaeya!" 2 guards run towards Kaeya in panic.
"What happens here?" ask Kaeya sternly.
"There was a situation you need to see."
All of us run with the guards showing us towards the Cathedral. We see a few nurses go around in panic. Inside the Cathedral there lay a few soldiers with some kind of black mark slowly growing in their body.
The situation is not good. Elena goes to the nearest soldier and checks on him.
"This can't be!" she gasps.
"What is it?"
"This sickness know as "Soul destroyer". The sickness that slowly takes over your body to the point that even the soul will not survive."
"Uh? What is that mean? Paimon confuse."
"It's mean the body will not survive and turning to ash."
"WHAT?!" Elena look panic didn't know what to do. And just like that The Acting Grand Master come run towards them together with Red hair guy.
"How the situation here?" She asks between gasp. Kaeya explained to Jean every single detail include with the sickness name and of course Elena.
"Did you know anything that can cure this sickness?"
"About that-"
"They're only 1 cure." A new voice came out and a boy wearing a green bringing a lyre show up.
"Venti! What do you mean that only 1 cure." Ask Lumine.
"This cure name was 'Dark Healing'."
"That sounds very sinister." Paimon counters him.
"This cure... Did you mean the cure that only 1 nation can make?" ask Diluc. Venti nod at him.
"Oh god." Jean only gasp. Lumine and Paimon look at them all weirdly.
"Can anyone explain to us!"
"Naferanam. That cure can only be made by Naferanam."
"Who is that?"
"Naferanam is a nation that the only way in is by the portal. The problem.... is that nation was a demon City."
"HUH?!"

Living in Paradise
The first thing I saw when I woke up was a group of people standing over me shouting "Happy Birthday!!!". Immediately after they start debating what type of world I came from and calling me 'William'. Later on I would learn that everyone here is reborn from another world and many children come with magic or superpowers or other gifts leftover from their old lives. I came from a world that was, to me, typical modernity. To them it was pretty boaring with the only thing interesting about my world being was a higher than average tech level for a non-spacefaring civilization; technology that wouldn't even work in this new world. All I brought with me was a peculiar mindset and the strong suspicion that there must be something more to life. Once everyone started to clear out my mother took me up in her arms, explained how the world works, and then stabbed me in the neck with a knife. I got better. -------------------- This story was written from the central idea of a simple question: What if a videogame like world, with all the normal video-game staples and tropes, was actually a real world? How would that work? How would people understand the universe around them? What sort of weirdness would the world appear to have from the point of view of someone who recognizes the odd nature of the place? And finally, if left to its own devices, how would this type of world ultimately develop?

Shadows in the Dawn Mist
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] - Winner November 2020 When a young woman is lured back to her homeland for the opportunity of a life time, she must face old fears. But never would she think that facing up to her past would change everything. Is History written by the victors, or by someone or something else...? *** I started writing this a few years ago and eventually fell out of love with it. I never finished it and my newer books are being written in different writing style, and genre with a more planned process. I decided to revisit it for the writathon and found that it wasn't as hopeless as I'd come to think. Hopefully, I've improved as a writer since them so the consistency may vary. Its been good to revisit and analyse my writing which I feel used to have some clunky and obvious dialogue which I'm trying to fix. This will always be my first novel and I hope, with a little exposure, I may come to like it again. Thanks for reading!

Binary of Life and Death
Monsters, gold, chaos, glory, adventure, what more could attract two of the greatest players of all time to Sugarea, the most popular MMORPG of its time. But everyone makes errors, and unfortunate for these two brilliant players, they have made the grave mistake of not actually sleeping like normal humans and missed out on the very moment the new Dark Legion update would take effect. Or did they? They wake in what seems familiar yet not, but they soon realize their predicament. They are inside their game avatar's bodies! A half-Demon and a Dragonoid are now struggling with more than just power, these two men have to find their new purpose and calling in a completely different world. Will they concur it like ordinary land or will they enlighten the planet into equality? Do figures pull strings in the dark or is everything open to the public eye? Nothing is certain except the unknown, and nothing is ever as it seems... This is an Isekai story, as such, some parts may sound either cliché or similar to others, but I assure you, I tried to prevent that. To make it known, I took quite a lot of inspiration from the light novel/anime Overlord, but that doesn't mean it's a direct rip-off of it. You'll find there to be quite the amount of differences. Just a little heads up as well, you should expect irregular uploads, as it takes me a long time to write each chapter. I am currently trying for once every other week on Sundays around 10:00 A.M. Chapters are usually 7k words and up, with the longest (chapter 3) being 10.3k words. So, if you like to sit down and read a long chapter every two weeks at 10:00 A.M. EST on Sundays, then you can waste your time here! Small disclaimer: Profanity is far and few between, and mostly used by side characters, rarely the main character. When something with gore happens, I describe to the best of my ability, which will only get better the longer I write this... :) Small cuts between perspectives happen, and can hide what some characters do, which will be revealed in future chapters, I'm not that lazy... all the time... There are some parts that are long blocks of text, most, if not all, of them, are characters talking, but I try not to info dump. I know one of the tags says "Psychological", and for the most part, it is, but it's not as prominent as other stories, instead, it's more hidden and scattered, but I did try to make the pieces I did reveal all fit together. Cover art is bound to be changed when I have a good picture to use, so the Yin-Yang is a placeholder for now unless yall wanna gimme something to use *wink wink nudge nudge*. So yeah, please give it a try, as I have nothing better to do with my life, and I am banking solely off of a career in literature and am hoping that I can create a story that can actually be called something more than a child's imagination running wild. The eventual and inevitable end to the story won't be for a long while, at least till chapter 40 or so. I have thought long and hard about the message and themes at play, so I hope you, the reader (who has some amazing hair btw), can enjoy and partake on this adventure with me into my dark empty pit of an imagination.
