《Mianite: Unitended》Unaudible
Advertisement
I woke up on the middle of the night. I don't even know if I was asleep long enough to start to dream.
I heard a noise and unlike with Jordan it wasn't just white silence.
I heard whimpering and crying of a young child. Male I think.
I got up to see what it was. Maybe someone had fallen into Mianite because I was the only kid as far as I was aware.
I followed the hallway out of my room to the lab.
Nothing and the crying stopped.
I felt a jolt of sadness and loss. Wanting to cry over nothing. I felt death. Then nothing, back to feeling groggy and curious.
I headed back to my room feeling scared.
Laying in my bed the feelings would come back in patterns, getting worse and worse each time.
I sat up in my bed. My body making me breath heavily and feel panicked.
Then there was a flash of darkness and I was in the middle of the jungle.
I was laying in the mist of the grass wet of cold night air and rain.
I wasn't dreaming. I literally got teleported in the middle of the woods. Right on the border of grass and mud by a pond.
I stood up checking my wrist for my watch. Going to call Jordan for help, but no luck. My pants were dirty with mud and my head hurt now.
I looked into the pond. The calm pond. Little ripples from the light drizzle. Then big ripples. Then shaking. The ground was shaking. In pattern like someone was walking, something was walking.
The shaking was lifting my off the ground step by step and then I heard a low pitch growling. Then the trees started to shake as I failed to try to get up.

Shaking turned into the tipping of trees falling out of entity's way. The growling was now soft but still low and right behind me.
I turned around slowly. The slower the longer I could live.
My mouth gaping at a shadowy creature taller then most all of the trees. It was a giant that was a color darker against the night sky.
It growled again. Like a demon. Like something stronger then a demon.
This was a lot better of a scare mechanism then the dead rat.
I got knocked off of my bed by something.
There was weird rumbling in the ground and some growling.
I could barely stand up. Every time the world would shake the house would literally lift in the air and so would I.
Struggling to move to the lab. Was this an earthquake, does Mianite have earthquakes.
I was so confused hanging to the lab tables, turning in the computers, trying to figure out something.
Then I heard a scream, a Hope scream and everything made sense.
I looked out the window seeing Hope run for her life.
"She found a giant", I said to myself. "She literally found a giant".
I grabbed her bow and my sword and ran out of the lab to outside, still having trouble walking around.
Hope was dodging monster. Turning around at times throwing rocks at its legs. I can only assume she was trying to trip it.
"Kid", I threw her her bow, which she caught.
Taking an arrow out of her quiver, she lined her shot running backwards.
The arrow flew. Spinning in the air perfectly strait. The arrow rammed strait through the Giants head.
It shook in its legs, knees locking and the monster fell to its death.
Hope jumped up and down running over to me.

"Nice shot kid"
She nodded her head. "Mhmm"
The ground started to shake again knocking us both down.
Smoke enveloped from the giant's leg going up to the wound in the head. The smoke gathered around in the wound and patched the giant up.
The monster stood up groggily. The same monotone growling started again.
Hope launched another arrow where the heart should have been, and the same thing happened.
What had the Mianites said, Dianite is the God of chaos and because of him chaos makes no sense.
Hope went to fire another arrow.
I threw her bow on the ground.
"What was that!", she screamed at me
"The monster gets healed from its legs and every time it gets stronger. That's why it didn't fall to the ground the second time you hit it".
She scrunched up her nose. "Wait do you need to-"
"Yep". Kill it from the source
I had a felling hope thought I was insane. "Okay......"
I grabbed my sword out of its holster. I took a deep breath.
The giant started to hobble over.
Hope grabbed onto my shirt. "Jordan"
The monster was twenty feet away. Not close enough.
"Jordan", Hope sounded more worried this time.
Now ten feet away. Still not close enough.
Hope held on tighter. "Now would be a good time to fight the monster that's about to squish us".
Five feet away. Just one more step.
"Jordan!", Hope shrieked.
And with one deep breath I swung.
Hope pulled me to the side as the monster toppled over. The giant's feet disappeared in thin air, and with one last growl the whole thing was gone.
Dumb founded and frustrated I threw my sword on the ground. "Where is it!"
"Uhh Jordan", Hope started walking over to where the monster disappeared from.
"Are you kidding me!", I started to loss it. "This damn shadow almost got me sick in the Modsteps house, almost destroyed my lab, and know after I killed it fair and square it's gone!!"
Hope tipped her head to the side. "Jordan"
"Can I fucking win!!!!"
"Jordan!". I finally notice she had one of her arrows in her hand.
She handed it to me.
I unscrewed the flint and bottles filled with a greenish black fluid poured out.
I had a big goofy smile on my face. "Hope".
She patted me on the back. "Goodnight Jordan". And she walked back to the house.
