Claire POV-
It was Mianite.
"Sorry for intruding, just wanted to see how you were doing" said Mianite
"Better by the looks of it" answered Champwan for her
"Hey, do the others know what happened?" She asked both of them
Mianite closed the door and proceeded slowly with a smile on him face
"No we don't know the whole story aside from you dying outside the protection area" Mianite said
"I though you would be the one to tell them later. Didn't want everyone going crazy and trying to kill Dianite while we were trying to save you" Champwan said
"I see..." Jordan responded
"Besides we were gone for a while, they have some questions about our disappearance. I thought perhaps it would be best to wait and share all of our experiences from the beginning" said Champwan
"How long were me and Champwan gone for?" She asked Mianite
"Two days from what I heard, everyone was looking for you guys. Then Dianite teleported away for no reason and came back minutes later saying you were dying" he said
"Yeah, we had an unexpected adventure, one that I would prefer not to tell right now. Would you mind telling everyone, I feel like I'd just make things sound worse?" She asked Champwan
He looked reluctant at first but agreed to do so. He finished up checking her wounds and left the room. Leaving her and Miante alone.
"I recognized the residual magic in your wound when they brought you. Only one person would have used that sword, one who wanted to kill wizards" he said sitting at the end of the bed
"Yeah it was him" Jordan answered
She knew that the brothers had their quarrels, last thing she wanted was to give him another reason to loathe his brother, but lying wasn't gonna get her anywhere.

"Figures. Though I never imagined he would try to kill you, Dianite can be unexpectedly cruel sometimes"
Jordan tried to sit up straight and cleared her throat.
"He lost control. Miante, we need to help Ianite, speed up this process. I need to get him out of his brother's grasp" she said "I think Dianite is just as dangerous as I originally thought he was"
"I'll begin running our options" he said "Though it may be an impossible task"
As Mianite began to walk out the room, Jordan felt as though there was something she was forgetting. Something she had to tell him.
Mianite was Dianite's brother, it only made sense that he knew his brother best.
He was also a god.
She had to tell him.
"Miante. One more thing" she said before she chickened out
He stopped and returned to his previous spot
"Dianite acts differently around me and I don't know why. I mean, I do, he wants me on his team but he acts strangely when no one else is around. He has shown me mercy in more than one instance. He also kissed me" Jordan said
"What?" Mianite said confused
"He did, earlier today when he and I spoke in private. Twice. Its just odd to me because it doesn't seem like something a god would do, specially him" she said " Hopefully thats not offensive to you"
He laughed clearly not feeling the least bit offended yet there was a glimmer in his eyes.
"Im not sure he has an answer for that" Dianite said from across the room
At that moment Jordan felt the greatest fear in her life, much like when waking up from a falling nightmare. Dianite had just listened to her having panicked girl talk with his older brother.
And to top it all off Tucker was standing at the door, and by the looks of it he had heard it all. If she could die of embarrassment, she would have died for the second time in one day.

Given the fact that she couldn't move, all she could do was close her eyes and imagine her happy place.
A library with loads of coffee and a collection of 80s records.
Five seconds of silence told her that they were all waiting for someone to start the conversation, for some reason, she had a feeling it was supposed to be her.
Lucky for her, Tucker's big brother anger was about to blow.
"Can someone repeat that again for me because I just heard the impossible" said Tucker
Mianite came to her side and laughed
"Actually I would appreciate a more elaborate answer from you dear brother" said Mianite
"Whats there to tell?" Dianite replied
"Are you making moves on my Jordan?" Asked Tucker as he slowly reached for his weapon
"What if I am, human? How is it your business?" Diane asked
"Brother, I too can attest for Tucker's concern. Its in your nature to be rather ruthless, Jordan isn't someone you should toy with" Mianite said now at his brother's side
"My reasons for courting Jordan are my own" Dianite said
"There is no courting of any sort!" Jordan said still covering her eyes
"Your lips would say otherwise!" Said Tucker pointing at Jordan
"He's just doing that because he knows I'm afraid of him and" Jordan said but was then cut off by Mianite
"So it seems you did kiss her, Ianite will be most displeased at your behavior brother. I'd fear with wrath if I were you, specially when he finds out you killed his beloved champion" Mianite said as he began walking towards his brother
"Dianite, I have millions of reasons to hate you. If I were you, I'd be careful messing with Jordan. Your own champion may turn against you one day for this" said Tucker
"All of you, out! I must have a talk with Jordan before I depart" said Dianite with eyes glowing like fire.
Crap, of all days to feel paralyzed, today was not a good day.
"Over my dead body" said Tucker with Sonja now by his side
"I heard screaming. Why are we fighting Dianite?" Asked Sonja
"Dead body, that can be arranged" said Dianite with a smile on his face
"Dont you even dare think about hurting my champions brother" said Mianite holding back his brother
"Or what, you'll do...oh wait you wouldn't do a thing because you never do anything. You barely even talk to them!" Said Dianite laughing
"Why do you want to talk to her alone anyways? To kiss her some more you devil!" Screamed Tucker
Thats what caused Sonja to drop her sword in disbelief, she looked at her expecting an explanation. All Jordan could do was shake her head in distress not even bothering to explain.
"Its not something I can say in front of the likes of all of you. Get in my way and ill wipe that ego off your face little knight" the god of the nether responded
"Just go, I got this" Jordan said
"Come. Besides I have a lot to tell you guys" said Champwan standing by the door
