Claire POV-

"Drink it. It will help" said Waglington

Though she was normally hesitant with potions and magic related stuff the pain in her abdomen demanded relief.

Jordan grabbed the glowing red potion and drank it as quickly as possible. Just because they were magical didn't mean they didn't have an aftertaste..

Gross.

"Thanks. You and the rest of the wizards have been working hard all day since I woke up. Maybe a brake is due anytime now don't you think?" She asked

Once Dianite had left, the wizards and the priest had begun measuring her "aura" and trying to figure out how to speed up the healing process since she could still bleed out and die.

She hadn't had a second to talk to her friends since then. Thought that gave her some time to think on what to do next, it was kinda lonely. She could hear her friends talking outside the door, begging to go in but the priest always told them the same thing

"She's too weak at the moment, give her time"

In all honesty, she did feel very weak. Her leg wasn't broken but severely fractured, the stab wound hadn't affected any important organs but it had caused much internal bleeding, not to mention it hurt like hell, she couldn't even get up.

Then there were the minor injuries like scratches from being pushed and from her attempted escape, not to mention the giant headache from being knocked out by the wizards that only grew more severe when Dianite pushed her back.

Thought the stab wound was patched up by the priest, it wasn't the best job. It wasn't his fault though, he was good at magic, not playing doctor. Nonetheless, she was very thankful.

"Jordan, how are you feeling?" Said Champwan as he came trough the door

She couldn't be more happy to see him. He had done so much to keep her alive from what she gathered. Apparently he had brought her back to life...

Though they had only spent a couple days together she knew she could trust him with her life, maybe it was because she had a horrible habit to see the good in people and cloud the rest.

Even with the possibility of him not being all she thought, she still cared about him and now she just didn't know how to repay him for all he had done.

"Alive thanks to you, seriously, I owe you my life" Jordan said when he reached her bedside

"You would have done the same for me. Though I have to say, you are the craziest woman I've ever met, sacrificing yourself for the wizards like that, it was very valiant of you" he said

Champwan then began to put ice on some bruises in her arms without saying a word, though it did sting a little, she tried to keep the quiet for a bit longer. He wasn't very loquacious, it seemed he found comfort in silence.

Almost as the his silence could speak a thousand words.

"Something tells me you would have done the same" Jordan finally answered

"I dont know that I would have, not out of lack of care for the wizards of course, but getting in Dianite's way like that, its not my job to defy the gods" he said sadly

"I didn't even know what I was doing, its like my instincts took over. Still, I'm gonna get Dianite back for killing me. Debating weather should destroy is fortress or fill it with dirt"

He laughed before giving her a big hug

"You can be very forgiving you know, he doesn't deserve it" he let go of the embrace and begin to speak one again "What did you both talk about earlier today? It surprised me that you would want to have a world with him after what happened, when I didn't hear massive screams next door I thought he may have killed you again" he joked

Um well....where to start. How about, the god of the nether went insane and kissed Jordan a few times and she was too weak to do anything about it. Maybe she was too forgiving.

Dying in Mianite so much had made her calm on the idea of dying perhaps.... She just couldn't register it a a big deal even with the massive pain her wounds

"He promised not to hurt the wizards, they can stay. I'd say thats worth something." she answered.

About the kiss...we kisses...

She wasn't lying, just withholding the truth for a bit until she was comfortable saying it out loud.

Maybe after she had some girl talk with Sonja about it she would seek his guidance.

"Thats unlike him but executable given what he did. Is that what he offered you for forgiveness, although knowing him, he wouldn't even care to justify his actions" he said

"Forgiveness was never up for persuasion, I haven't forgiven him. Not for killing me, but for trying to kill the wizards. He doesn't owe me an apology, he owes them one"

"Unfortunately they may never get one. I know him far too well" said a voice by the door of the room.
