Claire POV-

After much discussion and questioning, they decided to let her speak to the god's. Whatever they had giver her had completely healed her wounds to the point that she still had scars but no longer felt unbearable pain. Still, she was afraid to stand. Last time she tried she felt her bones would break.

Tucker and her had been talking for hours about what she should do today.

Tom immediately offered to take her to his god, making the claim that since he was the one who found her, he should have a chance to try to lure her into joining Dianite and show her around. No one argued with him, but Tucker offered to help get a house started as well as suggest the perks of joining his god.

When Claire first watched Mianite, she wasn't to keen on either of the gods, one seemed to stoic and distant with the impression of being ultimately good. The other god was just cruel and reckless. She wonder if thats how they were here.

Claire got up from her bed and finally realized where she was, Tucker's house. It looked just like it did in Mianite, just real. When she stood, she noticed that it no longer hurt to stand.

How long had it been since she passed out? It must have been a long time since her fractures were completely healed. Standing was as easy at it had been before, she was no doctor but those wounds should have taken ages to heal.

As she stared there in awe, wondering how everything was ok, Tom came up to her and said " We gave you a healing potion, you were healed in minutes but were out for a couple of days. Sick huh? Anyways common! We have much to see and maybe even future pranks to plan, its what we do here"

"I'm gonna ignore the fact that you just used magic on me. It doesn't exist. But sure I'll just follow you, a stranger, to your mysterious god. What's the worse thing that could happen" she said jokingly.

Tom just nodded and opened the front door.

Claire couldn't believe her eyes.

It all looked like Mianite! She could see the Dianite temple, the way to the priest's house, everything was as it should be. If she wasn't so worried about getting home she might have lost her mind fangirling/ theorizing the science behind this.

Before she even got to take another step, Tucker stopped her, " You may want to change into new clothes these you have on are kinda... falling apart. Sonja found your bags by the river and saw you had some clothes there but she wanted to give you something of hers. Just bare with it, there aren't other girls on this island so she's very excited at the idea of having another girl around."

Thats when she realized her clothes were in fact falling apart, showing more skin than she was comfortable with, but the guys were kind enough to look away or at least Tucker did, she caught Tom peeking her way a few times.

"Ok. Thanks, she seems to have a great sense of style so I don't mind. It sure beats my t-shirt and sweatpants" Claire said as she made her way back inside.

Shortly after, Sonja came outside with some folded clothes and a pair of shoes.

" Go ahead, try them on. You are a bit skinnier than I am but they should still fit. Welcome to the Mianite fashion! No offense but your clothes seem very odd, your home must be very weird. Anyways, if you need anything else Tucker and I will be inside getting stuff ready to build you a proper home. Have fun! And don't trust Dianite under any circumstances." That last part was a faint whisper that was only loud enough for her to hear.

She tried on the clothes and replaced them from her old destroyed ones. It was a pair of black pants that fit her tightly, a plain red blouse with a v neck, a loose black jacket that was actually very feminine but also managed to make her look like a badass, and a par of high black heeled boots. The inside of the jacket was orange, making her assume that Sonja preferred to wear it the other way but this seemed more appropriate for the outfit to use the black side. Claire let her long brown hair loose and grabbed the sword Tucker left out for in case she came across trouble. It was heavier than she thought but managed to put it in the handy slot on the jacket and with that she decided to head out.

When she walked back out Tom was waiting. He took a good look at her and said "Perfect, now you are ready to take on the dangers of this world, me being the biggest of course!" She couldn't help but laugh at that because she remembered how reckless he was in the streams. He then bowed her direction jokingly and after a good laugh they headed down the steps to the Dianite temple, or so she though.

Turns out Tom wanted to show her his house first. It was somewhat organized and had a lot of weapons all over the place to her surprise. She also saw he had a few farms and appropriate living conditions.

As she looked around, Claire failed to noice that Tom was behind her until he whispered in her ear.

"You are welcome to stay here if you wish, though I may not be able to resist pranking you from time to time".

She laughed nervously. "No thanks, I want to be able to sleep in peace. Besides I've never built a house, I'm kinda excited to make one. In fact I'm excited to do everything around here. Where I come from I didn't get to do a lot of things I wanted to, I feel free."

"I think you have a lot to learn about this place first, mate. I can tell you have never wielded a sword before, and you have to chose a side, pick a god to follow. Dianite is know as the god of evil and chaos, you would love him. You could be in a team with me and we could bring about chaos, and get many gifts from Dianite. Trust me, you would get some sick weapons!" He followed that comment by showing me what Dianite had gifted him.

He had an armor stand with the famous Dianite armor, She had to admit, it looked badass. It also seemed a lot lighter than armor she had seen at museums back home from different ancient civilizations. It also had some weird colored particles around it.

That wasn't possible! Enchantments were real?

He must have seen how puzzled and amazed she was because he immediately put it on, got his sword out and said...

"Common, lets go explore the rest of the island, fight a few mobs. Though you may need armor as well. Its dark out already!"

He ran to a chest nearby and got some plain metal looking armor. It was much harder to put on than she though. Who on earth would even now how to put this stuff on back home? This was ancient stuff! It was also really heavy...

After laughing at her, he picked it up and began to help her. Tom said that she would thank him once he saw all the monsters outside when she complained about the weight. Hold on, monsters?

Right, they had zombies, creepers and other creatures.

Claire doubted they were even real until she looked out into the night as Tom put on the armor. There they were, as if the walking dead was real but on steroids. She should have been afraid and confused, but she knew she could do this. Her years of watching the walking dead would finally come in handy after all.

Besides she had Tom with her, he wouldn't let them kill her, right?

"This island is embedded with magic that helps us come back if we die, so don't worry if you do. You will just teleport to the last place your unconscious mind reached. It doesn't hurt that much but it is a little disorienting. So just go out there and give it your all, I'm assuming you've never fought before?" He said.

"I cant say that I have, but I suppose this is the best training I will ever get right? We don't have monsters in my world so fighting isn't a life requirement. After a few mistakes I should be able to become better and better, like in video games. I think that is worth dying a couple of times, besides fighting is just a way of applying physics, it should be easy!"

He gave her a long look and said "You might just be crazy enough to survive here, lets go Jordan, or do you want to be called Claire? Actually, don't answer that! Jordan Sparkles is your real name, i'll call you Sparkles!" That brought a sense of kid like joy to him, Claire just couldn't argue with his sweet proud face so she went along with it.

Killing mobs was a lot harder than they made it seem. Tom was right , re spawning was incredibly weird and dying was terrifying and painful but after a few fails and much guidance from Tom she got the hang of it and decided to get creative with her attacks, after all when you know you wont die it tends to give more freedom to try crazy things.
