Anzu stared in shock as her doppelganger observed her as if she were some kind of odd creature.
"W-who are you? What am I doing here?" She asked nervously.
Her shadow chuckled.
Anzu's brows furrowed. "What?"
"Why yes dear! I am you! I'm the part of you that you want no one to see...the part that exist in the very depths of your mind and in the bottomless pit that is your sickened heart~"
"....This is a joke. This has to be a joke."
Shadow Anzu reached over and pinched Anzu's cheek hard, leaving a big red mark there.
"Ow!"
"What'd I tell you?"
Anzu rubbed her cheek. "Ok...so, you are real. But...what do you want with me?"
"What we both want, darling! To escape this world! To erase ourselves from this very existence. To make everyone's lives better."
"I...don't understand..."
"You will soon...very soon..."
Suki sat her desk as she wrote down in her notebook some kimd of strategy they could use to infiltrate Anzu's circus. She was just about half way through when her phone vibrated five times. She picked it up to find she had messages from two different people.
She opened the first two text that were from Jumin.
Jumin: hey.
Jumin: my dad says he has someone he wants you to meet. Says it's kinda important so maybe drop by later see what's up?
Okay. I'll make sure to head there right away.
Before she could respond to Jumin, Suki checked the other three messages left for her. Those were from Yasahiro.
Yasahiro: I'm kinda...lost. Like...really really lost. And scared. Very scared.
'....okay, change in plans.'
Suki immediately bolted up from her desk, gathered her things, and ran to the door and out to find Yasahiro.
'Please, please be okay, Yasahiro...!'

Yasahiro sat nervously on a park bench as he watched people passed by him. So many people. So many strangers for such a small town.

"Yasahiro!"
Yasahiro turned his head to find Suki running towards him. He stood up and quickly ran towards her, hugging her tightly.
"Yasahiro! Are you okay?!" Suki asked concerningly.
Yasahiro nodded, hugging her tighter. Suki sighed in relief, patting his head. "Good. I'm glad you're safe. Now, what are you doing here all by yourself?"
"I...I wanted to see you...I wanted to...be strong. Like you!"
Suki tilted her head in confusion, breaking away from the hug. "Huh? What are you talking about?"
"It's just...mnh...You and Isas sprung into action when Anzu attacked me. I have a persona and didn't even remember I had it!" He exclaimed.
"Oh Yasahiro...it's okay, really. It was just the fear that got to you."
"But I don't want it to get to me, Suki-San! I don't want to be afraid!"
Suki placed a hand on Yasahiro's shoulder. "Yasahiro, it's okay to be afraid-"
"No! You...you don't understand.." Yasahiro stated, sighing as he stepped back from Suki.
"...I want to be able to protect you guys like you do me...I don't just wanna be the baby forever...I don't even know what a baby is! But I don't want to be it forever! I wanna be strong! I wanna be strong like you, Suki-San! B-because...because-Because....YOU'RE MY HERO!"
Suki stepped back as she felt a strong determination flow inside Yasahiro.
And blossomed forth the vow of the Moon Arcana.
Moon Arcana: Rank 1
Suki smiled sweetly as she pulled Yasahiro in for another hug. "Alrighty then. I'll teach you how to be strong. But in your own way, okay?"
Yasahiro nodded as he flashed a wide grin. "Okay!"
Suki chuckled. "Now, let's get you home before Isas has his own little panic attack."
"Oh! Right! We should! Mainly because I don't know the way back..."
Suki laughed."That's okay. I'll help you home.."

Afternoon
Eko Residence
Suki staggered her way to Jumin's front porch, her legs tired from all the walking she was doing.
Okay. Now I definitely need to consider buying a bike!
Suki knocked on the door, feeling her legs shake.
"Coming!" She heard Jumin call, soon coming to the door and opening it. "Oh, hey Soup."
"Hey! Sorry I'm late, I had to help Yasahiro with something."
Jumin shook his head. "It's fine. You're right on time, actually. My dad's out back with mom and Mr. Kurusu. They really need to talk to you."
Suki nodded nervously. Jumin walked her inside and to the backyard, continuing her own way there. Yu was outside with Grey right beside him as they spoke to a very tall, slender man with frizzy black hair.
"Um...hello?" Suki said.
The three of them turned their attention to her.
"Oh, Suki! You're here! Glad you can make it. There's someone here I want you to meet." Yu explained. He gestured for the man to approach her, and he did so, extending his hand so she could shake it.
"Nice to meet you, Suki-San. I'm " The man said. "I heard you were the new wild card."
Suki nodded, still a bit nervous. "Yes. I don't suppose you happened to be-"
"The previous wild card? Yes. I am. Or at least, I was. And the best damn wild card ever."
"Pfft, yeah right." Grey scoffed.
Akira chuckled. "I'm kidding. But, I do want to see you for an important reason."
"A-and that is?" Suki asked.
"Suki, I know there is a lot of stress placed on your roll as the wild card. Trust me, no one understands better than us. But that's only because you are the one who will save humanity. Basically...you're the chosen one."
This whole speech Akira was given was not making Suki feel any better about her situation.
How was she-a sixteen-year-old high school student-suppose to save all of humanity?
"I know. It's a lot to take in. But that's why we're here."
Akira walked over to Yu and Grey, standing between them. "We're here to prepare you for your future as the wild card."
Suki's eyes widened. "A-are you serious? Even you, Miss Eko?"
"I told you to call me Grey. And, yes. I might not be a wild card myself, but I've had a handful of experience with what happens." She stated.
"Of course, there are a lot more of us. We're just a bit of a fraction. But, hopefully, we can be of help. That is...only if you're up to it-"
"YES!" Suki exclaimed.
Akira chuckled shaking her hand. "Well, welcome to the Wild Card Club, Suki-San."
Suki shook his hand, a fierce fire burning inside her while she felt a faint bind form between her and Akira.
Thou art I...
Thou has created a new vow...
Thou has birthed new life
And blossomed forth the vow of the
World Arcana."
Akira chuckled again. "Wow. It's been a long time since that happened."
"It's a weird feeling..." Suki explained.
"You get used to it. Now, shall we get started on your first training session?"
Suki nodded.
"Alright. Let's get to work."

Ichika Residence
Akiniko sat allow at the kitchen table, looking over some bills from the funeral when an unknown number called. Without caring, Akiniko answered.
"Hello?"
"Hello? Aki Ni?"
The sound of the nickname sent chills down Akiniko's spine as he stood up in fear and dropped it on the floor. Once it made impact, the call disconnected.
Akiniko continued to stare at the phone in terror and disbelief.
N-no...it couldn't be...
The phone began to ring again. This time, it was from in old friend. Akiniko calmed as he reached down and answered.

8 134The Crimson Castle
This is a LitRPG that follows Claire Woodward, A somewhat nerdy high school senior, who finds herself trapped in a video game, The Crimson Castle, she had just booted up for the first time. The Low Magic Fantasy World of The Crimson Castle is unlike any other. The world consists of only two things, the walled city of Dal and the wilderness that surrounds it. Each night, the wilderness outside of the city disappears and for five minutes the world trembles. Once the five minutes are up, the wilderness reappears, but it is always different from any previous' day wilderness. This means each day the city of Dal is surrounded by something new and exciting. Sometimes, the city of Dal finds itself on top of a snowy mountain, the next day in a foggy swamp, the next day after that on a tropical island, and so on. Inhabitants of Dal that go out into the wilderness are called adventurers. The further adventurers get from city of Dal, the rarer the loot they will find, but also the more treacherous their travels will become. Do not worry though, it is impossible to die in the wilderness. If your health reaches zero you will transported back to the city of Dal alive and well. Will Claire be able to figure out why she was transported into this world, and better yet, will she be able to escape it?
