《Persona 6: Fanmade redone!》Chapter 23: Not this time

Numb.
That's how Isas felt within those few seconds once his brain comprehended what was actually going on.
Numb.
Once again, the people he cared about were being put at risk because of his ignorance. He should have listened. He shouldn't have taken the dream so lightly. He shouldn't have brought Yasahiro and put him in the line of danger.
Now, not only Yasahiro was being taken, but Kimi as well.
I'm stupid...I've been too stupid! Stupid, stupid, Stupid!
Instead of wallowing, he plied up his determination and want to save his friends, he summoned Plutous and attacked. "PERSONA!"
Anzu pulled back, her second noose unable to attach to Kimi. But she still had hold of Yasahiro. Yasahiro squirmed in the noose, until he finally remembered he had a persona.
Oh, right! I have that!
"P-PERSONA! HELP ME!" Yasahiro cried.
Anzu's eyes widened as she jumped back, releasing Yasahiro before his persona could actually do anything. A furious Kimi then took her big metal bat and swung it hard at the sides of the two lion shadows, knocking them to their knees. Yasahiro fell and quickly scurried to hide behind Isas.
Shadow Anzu looked around, seemingly confused and anxious. She gripped onto her hair, growling in terrible pain. She glared at the Quaran-Team, breathing harshly.
"Leave this place! Now! I don't wanna ask twice!"
Isas looked back at Suki, who nodded in agreement. Isas nodded back at her as they fled the scene, returning to their world.

The minute they reached the real world, Yasahiro tackle hugged Isas, sobbing into his stomach from fear. Isas almost cried himself as he held Yasahiro close to him.
"I-I'm so sorry Yasahiro...I'm sorry I did not listen to you...this was my fault."
Yasahiro shook his head as he buried his chest deeper into his stomach. "N-no...don't blame yourself. I wouldn't have believed me either..."
Isas sighed as he hugged Yasahiro tightly. "I promise never to take such things so lightly. I promise to listen to you. No matter what!"
Yasahiro smiled, gripping onto Isas' shirt. Suki turned and walked over to Kimi, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, Kim. You okay?" She asked, concerned.
Kimi nodded, a small smirk on her face. "Yeah, I'm good. Things don't really get to me like that, Y'know?"
Suki nodded, although she didn't quite believe her. Maybe this was just Kimi being Kimi.
"So, now what do we do? She's threatened by us now and there's no way she's gonna let us in." Jumin said.
"Well, during my time in my palace, I was kept in a tower. Maybe she happens to be in there somewhere."
"Did you not listen to me at all? We're dead meat if we step foot in there! How do we even know..."
Jumin stopped himself before he said anything else. Isas placed his hand on Jumin's shoulder.
"We don't know that yet. But even then, we still have time."
Jumin looked up at Isas, gazing into his hopeful eyes. Jumin smiled.
"Alrighty then. Let's figure out a way in before-?"
Before Suki could finish, Jumin's phone rang.
"S-sorry... It's my mom...heh..."
He fumbled around and answered the phone.
"H-hey Mom. Kinda in the middle of somethin' here." He explained.
"Jumin, hun. Deviant just called. It's about Anzu."
Jumin's expression dropped as his hands shook. He looked up at the others, who immediately knew by the expression on his face what was wrong.
"W-we'll be right there, mom."

The Quaran-Team fell through the doors of the hospital and stumbled over to the front desk.
"We're here....here for....Ayako-San..." Isas sputtered, out of breath.
"Are you family of the patient?" The nurse asked.
"Uh...does it count if we've talk to her once?" Kimi asked.
"T-they're with me..."
They turned to see Deviant, who looked disheveled, his hair a mess and his eyes ready to flood out tears.
"Mr. Ayako!" Suki exclaimed.
"Suki...I-I'm so glad you're here..."
"What happened?" She asked.
Deviant bit his lip, shaking his head. "She got worse, Suki. She was bleeding bad and...they couldn't stop it. I couldn't stop it...they keep giving her these drugs and she...she ain't getting any better...."

Deviant almost started crying again.
"Can we see her...?" Isas asked.
Deviant nodded. Suki stood on her tiptoes and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"It's going to be okay...she will be saved."
Deviant smiled sadly. Suki held on for a moment before she followed the others into Anzu's hospital room. They opened the door and were horrified.
Her body from the waist down had been wrapped in tight bandages that were already becoming soaked with blood. She had become as white as sheet, eyes sunken and body stiff as a board. Her entire room was decorated with black roses, mainly around her bed.
"Holy shit..." Kimi breathed.
"I-I can't believe this...why?"
Suki walked in first, having a little investigation of her own. She searched around her room to see if she had left anything significant lying around.
"Suki?! The hell are you doin'?! You can't just look through her stuff like that!!" Kimi exclaimed.
"Relax. I'm just looking for something important. Keep a look out for me, will ya?"
"Are you mad? This is an invasion of privacy!" Isas exclaimed.
"Well, it's the best option we got! Plus, it worked invading your privacy." Suki exclaimed as she began to root through Anzu's backpack that was right by her feet.
"Hurry! Someone's coming!" Jumin whispered.
Suki quickly pulled out a big, hardcover notebook and hid it behind her back, just as a nurse walked in.
"Visiting hours are over."
"We were just leaving." Isas said, walking out as the others followed.
They waited until they were completely out of the hospital until they got a good look at the notebook. It was a completely black and old notebook, with about two hundred pages, half of them being full.
Suki opened it and slowly flipped through the pages.
Seems she's had this thing for a while...
"She always carries that around with her."
"Hm?"
"The notebook. She's had it since grade school." Jumin said, "I would always see her in the corner just writing."
"Can you guys just for once give this information beforehand?!"
"Kimi, relax..."
Suki continued to flip through the notebook.
Slowly but surely, I'm deteriorating.
My end will come at some point.
Good.
It will be good for everyone if I just dropped off the face of the earth,
Or at least, let the ground beneath me swallow me whole as what lies beneath eats my flesh and tears at my artiries.
"Jeez. She was writing this shit in grade school?" Kimi asked.
Suki elbowed her in the stomach. "Be sensitive."
Suki flipped to another page. This one was labeled: ' sad like me'
Today, I saw Isas-Kun crying. He had a big bruise on his head.
"Anzu...she..." Isas was about to speak, before biting his lip, gripping his arms tightly.
"Now we have to do this. And we do it now." Jumin stated.
"Hold on, we can't do this too soon. We still need a date, remember?"
Suki continued to flip through the pages of the diary until something slipped out and fell at her feet.
Yasahiro knelt down and handed it to her. She traded off so now Yasahiro held the book as she opened up the piece of paper.
"....that's it? This is all they even fucking said?! What the fuck?!"
"This is what they left her with...this is the shittest thing they could have ever written!" Jumin exclaimed.
Suki shook her head in disproval, until her eyes wondered to the very top left of the page.
"Everyone, look here."
"?"
"What is it?"
"At the top of the page. Look what it says."
They looked up at the corner of the page to see what she found. It was a date.
"Ya think that could be it?" Kimi asked.
Suki nodded. "I know it is."
"Well, it seems we have our date. " Isas stated.
March 25th, the deadline we have to save Anzu before her death. Let's it is more successful than the first time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anzu woke up in a haze.
She couldn't remember anything. It was all just a blur.
"My, my. A sleeping beauty now, are we?"
Puzzled by who was taking, Anzu opened her eyes, where she was faced to face with her own shadow.
