The house was empty, very empty indeed, when jungkook entered. He was scared, scared to death. What if jin has left him forever? That'll be the worst thing that could ever happen to him but again, why did he even cheat in the first place?

"Jin?" He calls out, not hearing anything as a reply. Maybe he did leave, their last conversation was hell, how could he have stayed?

"I'm here,Jungkook." Jungkook then goes to their shared room at the speed of lightning.

"Ah i thought you left." He mutters and stares at jin, taking the view in.

"I would have but i have questions, you know?" Jungkook finds himself nodding.

"You can ask." And so he does.

"Who was it?" Jin looks down and pinches the skin on his hand.

"Uhm it was Taehyung. The one you met in that party, an acquaintance." He knew it, who else could it be. Jin wanted to cry out loud.

"Ho-how many times?"

"Once." Jungkook instantly replies, jin nods slightly trying to show that he understands.

They are silent for uncomfortably long. Jin doesn't want to speak anymore, he's emotionally tired.

"I did that because i am stupid and insecure. You are and were so fine and all mine that i had to mess it up. I know apologising won't change anything but i wanna say that I didn't mean doing it with him. I just did it to prove a point to him, he was feisty and i was stressed with work. I'm clean, i got tested right after. The only reason i stayed late at work is cuz i was feeling guilty and i couldn't stand seeing you for long." Jungkook's arms were crossed on his chest and he was observing jin as the latter sat on the bed and heard him quietly, head hung low, hair covering his eyes.

"Wh-why?" It's a whisper, Jungkook almost doesn't hear him but he does hear him. He wishes he never did ; wishes he never was in this situation where he'll see Jin so utterly broken.

"Because you are and were so fine and mine, were all mine. Waiting for me to come home. This killed me. I had to make you desperately wait for someone who hid things from you. How could i see you? Without having a part of me dead?" Were all mine. Ah.

"Jin, please say something. Anything."

Jungkook was growing desperate, a hundred curses were better than the silence that had taken over them.

"Uhm i see." Jin tries to fill the void but who would fill the void in his heart? He could barely breathe.

"Do you?" Jungkook questions, frowning with worry.

"Uh huh." It's a sound that jin makes to tell the other that he can in fact see everything, it's clearer than before.

"Alright. Do you want time to yourself at the moment? We could figure this out in the morning."

'Why are you asking this Jungkook? Don't you know how much i want you to lay your body on me? Don't you know how much the heat of your body calms me down? If you'll leave right now, I'll die of cold Jungkook. Please don't you leave.'

Jin swallows everything he wanted to say and nods.

"Nah,say it." Jungkook demands and Jin looks at him, unable to hide his shock.

"Say what?" Jin questions, hoping he didn't give it away.

"You swallowed." Jin stares at him confusingly, asking him silently ,to elaborate.

Jungkook does a slow blink, removes his arms from his chest : "When you swallow before nodding or saying yes, it's because you refrain from saying what you really want. You swallowed before nodding, did you wanna say something else?"

'If you're gonna stand like this how am i gonna stay calm and collected? You know everything about me then why are you asking? Can't you just hug me so hard, it hurts? And so i can't breathe?'

It was the last straw, jin broke down.

"Hey hey." Jungkook whispers in panic, hovering over the latter.

"Hey ,you're good and safe, breathe."

'I don't wanna' Jin thinks. 'Not when you're this close to me'

He hugs him, Jungkook hugs Jin and it just intensifies the sobs of the other.

"What do you want me to do?" He questions Jin and repeats it when Jin doesn't answer.

"Stay away from me" It might be the second coldest thing Jin has said to Jungkook after the rape thing thus Jungkook steps back, flinching.

"Stay away from me please. Let me hate you in peace." Jin mumbles, crying into his hands. "It's been a hard task: to hate you." Jungkook stares at him again with sad eyes.

"I cannot hate you when you're close to me. Not right now, not before and definitely not when you hugged me." He's trying to understand. Understand if this is Jin breaking up with him.

"I'm sorry, i can leave." He stands up and Jin looks up as fast as he can.

"You want me to hate you?" Jungkook is so confused.

"I don't , Jin. I just want you to be okay." Jungkook says, not knowing if it's the right thing to say. Spoiler: it's not.

"Then why did you fuck him?" He knew Jin will say this and he's not prepared the answer.

"It didn't mean anything."

"It meant everything to me. How you could do that and not tell me about if right away."

"I didn't want to lose you Jin."

"Well, you might right now." The vividness of this sentence was hitting every complex in Jungkook's brain.

"I know and I'm sorry." It's below a whisper but everything is paused at 4am ; jungkook can easily hear Jin's breathing and its calmer than before. He sighs in relief.

"Do you know how much i want you on me? You've destroyed me for anyone and it's embarrassing. Embarrassing that whatever you'll do, I'll always come back to you." He knows, Jungkook knows this but what is he to do, he made a mistake and he's sorry.

"I'll swear on your love, the love you have for me, I'll not repeat it."

"Huh?" Jin asks.

"You'd come back to me, you said so I'm saying I swear on your love, I'll never cheat on you or hurt you again. Come back to me one last time."

And he does. One last time.
