I was currently sat in the lounge with a few others of the pack, I had thought that maybe Kieran had asked them to keep an eye on me after what Scotty had come to tell us. Kieran's words from last night, his promise he made to me about keeping me safe still stuck in my head. I'd hate it if any harm ever came to Kieran or his pack because of me, I really didn't want any trouble to happen here because of me. I know Kieran won't let me leave but I had to speak to someone, someone away from the pack and I knew just the person. All I had to do now was convince Kieran to let e go and visit this person and call her to make sure it was okay to go over to hers for a chat.

Luckily for me the person I wanted to speak with agreed and said it was fine for me to go over, she would inform some of her pack I would be on my way over there. Kieran also agreed it was fine for me to go over but insisted a few of his pack members walked me there then came back for me when I was ready to return back home. The walk over there was very peaceful and relaxing. Kieran appointed Alex and Louis to walk me over.

"Don't be mad at Kieran, it's not like he doesn't trust you, he just wants you to be safe" Alex said

"I'm not mad with him, I know he's very protective and wants to keep me safe, I just don't want Kieran or anyone else from the pack to get hurt because of me" I answered truthfully

"No one in our pack has ever gotten hurt before and you're not bringing any trouble here it's your old Alpha" Alex replied

We soon reached my destination and I was greeted by a very familiar and friendly face.

"Felicity, welcome over" Jenny Montgomery smiled as she welcomed me.

I remembered Jenny from my party, she was Oliver's wife and mate. They have known Kieran for pretty much his whole life.

"Hello Mrs Mon-" I began but Jenny cut me off

"Jenny, please dear" She smiled

Alex and Louis said their goodbyes and made their way back to Kieran's house and pack. They had said to call the pack house when I was ready to head back home. I'm not gonna lie, I was glad Kieran let me come over here, it was a nice change.

"So you wanted a little chat about things" Jenny said as we entered her and Oliver's huge home.

"Yes it's just about Kieran, his pack and my old Alpha, Jamie" I said nervously

"No need to be nervous, we'll talk over a nice hot drink" Jenny smiled

He smiled seemed to calm me down and comfort me a little. She lead us into her lounge room, she had asked one of her pack members to bring us in some hot drinks, I just hope it wasn't coffee, I hate coffee.

"Sit down, drinks will be through soon, you do like hot chocolate right ?" Jenny asked a little uncertain.

"Yes thank you, I'm fine with hot chocolate and tea just not coffee" I smiled answering her question as I sat down across from her.

"Are you and Kieran doing okay together ?" She asked

"We're fine, we're good, but yesterday members of our pack found my cousin and a few of his friends on Kieran's land, they came to warn us about Jamie, he's going through a rage rampage" I began to explain

"He's angry, he thought he had Kieran beat when he claimed Sarah as his mate and took her from Kieran, since then, there's bee no love lost between them" Jenny explained

"I've seen Jamie during a rage before and it wasn't a pretty sight to see" I said then explained to he like I did the previous day to Kieran about the whole thing.

"Wow, how old where you when you witnessed that ?" Jenny asked

"Fifteen I think" I answered

"Did no one report the boys missing ?" Jenny asked

"They were reported missing but their bodies were never found" I answered as I felt a cold shiver run down my back

"Why did you or your cousin never tell anyone about it ?" Jenny asked

"We were scared, if we spoke up there's no telling what Jamie would have said about the whole thing, we would have been taken from our parents, after seeing him like that, it scared me so much" I answered truthfully

"Okay, let's push that a side for the time being, it clearly still scares you and has you upset, why did you want to come over and talk about ?" Jenny asked changing the subject which I was glad of.

"Kieran promised me that he'd always keep me safe from harm and even give his last breath for me, with all this trouble starting with Jamie, I don't want Jamie to hurt Kieran because of me or anyone in our pack, I feel like I've brought all of this trouble right to Kieran" I began

"Felicity calm down, Kieran loves you and you love him right ?" Jenny asked

"Of course I love him" I replied looking her in the eye so she knew I was telling her the truth

"None of this trouble with Jamie is your fault, it's Jamie himself, have you thought about leaving ?" Jenny asked me

"I had suggested it to Kieran last night but he said he wouldn't let me go" I told her

"Of course he said that because he loves you and he knows none of this is your fault, you never rejected your mate, and he never rejected his, Jamie rejected you and Sarah rejected Kieran, what you and Kieran have and built, it's began to mean something special to you both" Jenny said as she pointed out some obvious things to me

"You and Kieran have both become to mean so much to each other, after his parents were killed, years ago, Myself, Oliver and everyone all around him all saw how much it affected him, Then when Sarah rejected him, I thought for sure he was going to go back down that road again but he never, because he never got the chance, because you came along and saved him from going back to that dark place, I've never seen Kieran as happy as what I have recently, even at the ball" Jenny added

I sat there thinking about what Jenny had just said to me, she had gone out the room, to give me time to think. Her words kept running around my mind. I knew deep down she was right, I didn't have it in me to just leave Kieran, not after what he's done for me. I couldn't hurt him like others have. Jenny said earlier that I saved Kieran from going back to a dark place. I can't just abandon him like that. If anything bad does happen, we should face it together head on like what we have done so far.

After spending a few more minutes to think about things, I ran over to the sofa and began to put my coat back on. Half way through me putting my coat on, Jenny walked back in.

"Felicity, what's going on here ?" Jenny asked looking a little worried

"Your right, I can't leave Kieran, he's done so much for me, whatever happens, we can face it together" I said finally getting my coat on and zipping it up

"You want to call the house to let them know your ready to head back over, so he can send a couple of the pack over to walk you back ?" Jenny asked, I really wanted to decline but I knew she wouldn't allow it plus Kieran would be mad.

I took my phone out of my pocket and called Kieran's number but it just rang, strange he would normally pick up, unless he's in a pack meeting maybe or training. I hung up and then dialled the number for the pack house phone. Surely maybe one of the others can answer the phone. The phone was answered on the third ring.

"Hello Sophie speaking, how can I help you ?" Sophie asked as she answered my call. The thing with packs is they all have each other's number so they don't feel the need to say the name of their pack out over the phone.

"Hey Soph, it's Felicity here, is Kieran around at all ?" I asked as I greeted her

"No, not right now he's out with some of the pack really far out on our land, there was sights of an intruder, a proper one this time, not your cousin" Sophie said

I froze in fear of what might happen to Kieran. What if this intruder was vicious and they were unprepared or walking into a trap ?

"Where are you anyway ?" Sophie asked

"I'm over at Luna Jenny's, Kieran said it was fine for me to come over to hers for a chat, Alex and Louis walked me over here, Kieran said to call when I was ready to come back home, he wants the boys to meet me but if they're with Kieran, it's fine, I'll just come back over" I explained

"I'll try to find someone to come and get you" Sophie said trying to sound strict like her brother

"I'm going to start walking back now, if you do find anyone, they can meet me and walk me back" I said before hanging up

"What's happening ?" Jenny asked

"Kieran and some of his pack members are out on their land further out, there's sign of an intruder, Sophie is going to try and find someone from the pack to meet me" I explained

"Let me get a few of my pack members to walk you" Jenny offered

"I'll be fine, I don't want any of your pack members to get hurt in case there is an intruder and he or she is vicious" I explained

Jenny tried to convince me but it was no use I practically ran out the room. I may sound may or crazy but I really just wanted to get back home so I could talk to Kieran when he got back, just us so I could let him know I was staying with him and we would face whatever comes our way together, like any other Alpha and Luna.

"Promise me that you'll be careful and stick to the light, don't go too far into the darkness of the forest" Jenny said as we made our way to the front door.

"I promise, I'll be fine, I'll be careful and stick to the light. I really just want to get back home to him" I explained

Jenny's face held a small smile as she nodded. She knew Kieran and I had to talk.

I left Jenny and Oliver's place and began making my way back to Kieran and I's pack house, remembering the way which Alex and Louis had brought me this morning. It was really quiet, my phone didn't have much battery life left plus I didn't have my ear phones with me so I couldn't listen to my music. I decided just to enjoy my walk in nature back home but something didn't feel right. As I walked, I glanced around at all the surrounding trees, I could feel the warmth of the sun as it beat down on me. I had this horrid feeling of unease that something bad was going to happen. I don't know if Kieran and the other's found that intruder on the grounds or not.

As I kept on walking, I got this feeling that someone was behind me, I took a quick look behind me but no one was there so I decided to keep walking. I quickly turned around and continued on my way back. The feeling never leaving me, I decided to quicken my pace up and began to walk faster, I silently prayed to myself that someone from the pack would show up soon. Maybe this whole thing is just in my head ? I don't know.

I stopped as an opening on my right appeared. I knew where I was, on the other side of the opening was a cliff. The male wolves sometimes enjoy coming out here to jump off the cliff and into the water down below it. Dangerous I know but apparently none of the male wolves have ever hurt themselves doing this. I stopped just for a few minutes to enjoy the scenery and the sound of the water down below. I don't know why but the sound of water always made me feel a lot calmer. Rain, sea waves, stream water running, rivers, waterfalls, it all helped to relax me and calm me down.

Once I was relaxed and content again, I turned around back onto the path I was walking to head home, as I reached the centre of the path, a figure walked out from the tree just up in front of me. I was shocked at who it was. I honestly was not expecting to see this person again.
