"take me." i whispered out quietly.

"take me." i repeated over and over.

"take me." i shouted, standing on the ledge, looking down at the people below me avoid the shattered glass.

"take me." i said and closed my eyes while spreading my arms out.

"hey!" a voice from me called from behind.

i turned quickly to see this girl. She had teal hair and a beanie on.

"what do you want? get out of here!" i yelled shuffling back.

"hey! hey! come on, talk to me. trust me you don't wanna do this." she said.

"did you not hear me? i said get the fuck out of here!" i shouted.

"just give me your hand, we can sort this out." she said.

i looked into her eyes. pretty.

"do you trust me?" she asked.

she took a few steps closer and moved away.

"just give me your hand, i'll help you." she told me.

she reached out for me with her hand, inching closer and closer. i pushed backwards but with one swift movement she ran up to me and grabbed my hand. i was now dangling from the rooftop.

"fuck! give me your other hand!" she yelled reaching in as i clutched hers tightly.

"push me up please! help!" i said as she dragged me upwards.

i feel my body scrape against the edge and my palms get sweaty. i slipped out of her touch.

"my hand! grab my hand!" i shouted.

"i got you don't worry! just pull yourself up!" she said.

she finally pushed me up and i landed on top of her, gazing into her ocean eyes. her touch felt soft and warm. she threw her head back and sighed in relief.

"why the fuck would you do that! are you insane!" she yelled.

"no! i-" i replied.

"come here." she said and hugged me.

her warm embrace felt strange, almost peaceful coming from a stranger.

"don't do that shit man!" she told me.

she wrapped her arms around me tight and held me there for a while before putting her jacket around me and sitting down by a fire she lit with a lighter and some sticks.

we sat around the fire for a while, not saying anything but enjoying the view, i didn't know why she was still here but her presence felt someway comforting.

"the views pretty at night." she said staring into the distance.

i didn't reply and just started into the pitch black nothingness of the sky.

"why did you wanna do it?" she asked, turning to look at me.

i stared into her eyes, filled with pure innocence.

"are you not gonna say anything." she asked.

"my mum died." i whispered out loud enough she could hear. "she killed herself, overdose."

she remained eye contact, that was probably my cue to continue speaking.

"she was all that was left of my family, now it's just me and my dog Baxter." i said.

"im so sorry." she replied. "i know my condolences aren't helping but is there anything i can do?"

i stayed silent and lost myself in the void of the black sky.

"do want me to take your mind off of it?" she asked.

"no you should probably leave, you probably have better things to do than worry about a stranger." i remarked.

"believe it or not i don't." she said. "come on, gimme your hand."

i gave her my hand as she pulled me upwards.

"come on!" she said tugging at me to follow her.

"where the fuck are we going?" i told her as she practically dragged me with her.

"somewhere." she said.

"where!" i asked.

"stop whining and just follow me." she said.

she brought me to this shopping mall which was empty. it was about 2am at this point so it made sense but i was still so surprised as i as drunk. she brought me to this one room and i couldn't even explain how it made me feel.

"woah this is so sketchy." i said staring up at the ceiling which was filled with patterns.

it was like almost hypnotising. i was just in a room filled with shiny patters that i got lost in and it felt like they where moving.

"yeah, i love coming here when im either high as fuck or depressed." she said.

"woah." i whispered, falling to the ground.

we stayed silent for a little while more.

"hey, i just realised i don't even know your name yet!" i exclaimed.

"oh yeah, Billie, Billie Eilish." she said holding a hand out to me.

"Luna Clarke." i replied shaking hands with her.

i sat up and crossed my legs, with her opposite to me.

"so tell me a bit about yourself, Eilish." i said.

"well i'm 19, i work as a graphic designer and i have a dog named Shark." she said.

"what! you're a graphic designer! that's so cool!" i replied.

"yeah but i don't like too much. it has its downside. but what about you?" Billie asked.

"i'm 20 and i work as a bartender." i said.

"well that certainly explains why you reek of vodka." she said.

"you know, you're strange." i told her. "you just save a stranger from suicide and then hang out with them."

"it isn't a daily occurrence, but today was the exception." she said.

"why?" i asked.

"why what?" she said.

"why hang out with me?" i asked.

"well one, im bored, two, i don't wanna go home, three, you tried to kill yourself, four, you're drunk and five, you seem pretty cool and i wanna get to know you." she explained.

i blushed a little when she said that. we talked for a while about our lives, i told her a bit more about my mum and my childhood. i was really hoping i didn't bore her with it but she kept asking questions so i don't think she minded.

"get up! im hungry." Billie said.

"but i don't have any cash on me." i replied.

"neither do i, now lets go!" she told me.

i followed behind her and asked where we were going but she just shushed me.

"yes!" she chucked in joy picking up a pretzel from the pretzel stand.

"Billie that's stealing!" i whisper shouted.

"shh, i'm just borrowing it." she took another bite.

"gosh, if you're gonna steal share some!" i told her taking a bite out of the pretzel. "eww Billie this is stale!"

"it's better stale, trust me!" she laughed.

"no no no." i denied, running over to krispy kremes to get a donut. "this is amazing, i love the glazed ones so bad."

we enjoyed our snacks and raided almost every food store in the shopping mall before we decided to go try on some clothes.

"look at this." i said, pulling out a frog hat putting it on my head.

"now thats cute, you have to keep it." billie said.

we fucked around for a bit and tried on some weird clothes and some cute ones which we then took home but it was so fun.

"holy fuck, Billie, come look at this." i showed her this pretty dress i saw.

the dress was close- fitting and was open necked. there where ripples on the sides of the dress streamlining all the way down.

"its pretty, try it on." she replied.

there was no point in going in a changing room and so i stripped right then and there.

"close your eyes." i told Billie.

she covered them as i continued changing.

"stop peeking!" i laughed.

i slipped on the dress and look in the mirror.

"okay, open." i said and she did.

"wow." she said in astonishment.

she admired me for a bit, which immediately erupted butterflies in my stomach.

"you're beautiful." she told me, looking at me up and down. "holy fuck."

she inched closer towards me and i froze in shock. her blue eyes shot right through my soul, focusing onto my lips and my neck. i closed my eyes, but i could still feel her stares burn into me like wildfire.

please just kiss me.

that's all i wanted. it's all i wanted her to do. her warm breath got closer to mine, i could feel her hand on my hip as she placed the other on the side of my face.

please just kiss me.
