"Alright, then we have a deal. I'll be making sure that you're gonna be supervised for a while because we really can't permit another mistake," Dallon says and he looks around the conference room.
It had taken a while, but they finally had gotten an agreement and Dallon was more than happy.
As soon as he and Stella walk out of the room, Dallon groans and presses the palms of his hands to his eyes, for a few seconds.
"Finally, done," he says and he looks at Stella, who nods.
"Now let's get back to the hotel, pack our stuff and get back to New York." "Let's do that."
They get a cab and Stella just looks at her phone, trying to get two plane tickets back to New York.
"Our plane is available tonight, we could be back in New York tomorrow." "Perfect! I get to see Brendon tomorrow. God, I'm gonna take him on a date and it's gonna be amazing."
Dallon is surprised at himself, he normally really wouldn't be this excited over anything and even if he was, he wouldn't share it with anyone because he didn't like sharing his feelings.
But this was different. He'd never liked someone as much as he liked Brendon, he'd never looked forward to having dinner with someone. He'd never been in love before.
Stella smiles at him and Dallon blushes a little.
"I'm sorry. I'm just excited..." "Don't apologize. I've never seen you this happy before." "I've never been this happy. It's insane." "It's good, seeing you this way. I have to be honest, before you started seeing Brendon, I was slightly concerned about you. You just stayed at work all day long, you were already there when I came to work and I'd leave before you. I honestly didn't even know if you went home at all."

Dallon chuckles and looks at his lap.
"Sometimes I really just didn't go home because I had nothing to go home to. At work, I at least could do something useful." "I am sorry you felt that way." "It's fine. I'm happier now!"
Dallon looks up again and Stella smiles.
"I'm gonna say one last thing before I'll shut up about Brendon and my feelings." "Of course. You don't have to stop talking about him, though." "I know, but I usually don't share this much, so it feels weird."
Stella nods and frowns a little, but Dallon gives her a reassuring look, that he's okay.
"This might sound stupid, but I feel like, with Brendon, I've actually got something to really care about. And that makes me feel happy. Okay, I'm done now, I'll shut up about it."
Dallon looks out of the window and sees that they're at the hotel already.
"Well, I'm just gonna go to my room for a while, I'm pretty tired," he says, as they walk into the lobby.
"Yeah, of course. If you need me, I'll be in the bar." "Alright."
Dallon walks up to his room and just lays down on the bed, looking at the ceiling and smiling like an idiot.
He texts Brendon, telling him that he'll probably be back tomorrow. Surprisingly, he immediately gets a text back, even though it was really early in New York.
That's great! I can't wait to see you again :)
When should I be at the airport?
I can't wait to see you either. I'll let you know when we're gonna be at the airport
Alright :)
I'm just gonna sleep some more, now. It's super early
Sleep well, Bee
Bye Dall
Dallon almost squeals, as he sees the heart and he buries his face in a pillow.

He groans and just closes his eyes, trying to kick of his shoes before remembering that they're expensive and pretty new and he doesn't want to damage them.
He sits up and gets his shoes off before he buries his face into the pillow again.
He just stays like that for a while, until his nose starts to hurt from being squished into the pillow.
He turns on his back and closes his eyes, to try and fall asleep, but he keeps thinking of Brendon and every time he does, Dallon's heart skips a beat and he feels all happy.
He just gives up trying to sleep and just checks his emails for a while, until he gets really tired and finally falls asleep.
---
When Brendon wakes up, a few hours after Dallon texted him, he's smiling.
Dallon was coming back soon and all Brendon wanted to do was kiss him and hold him close.
And he would, as soon as he saw Dallon, tomorrow.
Brendon gets out of bed and walks into the kitchen, making himself a coffee and grabbing some cereal.
He just hums a song and scrolls through his phone before he decides that he should tell Patrick about him and Dallon. He wanted to tell Patrick first because Sarah would just tell him that she wanted a $1000 and his other friends didn't even know that he liked Dallon.
He texts Patrick, asking if he wants to come by and waits for an answer.
Patrick answers pretty fast, telling him that he'll be there soon and Brendon smiles.
When the doorbell rings, Brendon opens the front door and smiles at Patrick.
"Hey there, Patrick! How are you?" "I'm good, how are you?" "I'm amazing. I've got some good news!"
Brendon gestures for Patrick to come in and they both walk to the kitchen.
"Coffee?" Brendon asks and Patrick just nods.
"What's the good news though?" He asks and Brendon starts smiling.
"Okay, so I told Dallon that I'm in love with him and he said that he feels the same." "Oh my God, that's great! I'm so happy for you!"
Patrick seems really excited and Brendon's smile gets bigger.
"I'm so happy. And he's coming back tomorrow because he's in France now and I'm gonna pick him up from the airport and I can't wait to see him. I just wanna kiss him and hug him..." "That's so cute! Oh my God!"
Brendon hands Patrick a cup of coffee and goes to make a second cup, for himself.
"And he promised he'd take me on a date, so we're gonna go on a date, sometime this week, but I just don't know where I wanna go. He wants me to choose what we're gonna do." "Choose something simple. Maybe just a nice dinner. There's this really cute restaurant, near the coffee shop where we had drinks, a while ago." "What's it called?"
Patrick takes a sip of his coffee and thinks for a few seconds.
"I don't remember, but I'm going for dinner there with Pete, tomorrow, so I'll text you the name then, okay?" "Yeah. Thanks!"
Patrick smiles.
"Of course! I want you to have a nice official first date with Dallon!"
