After the conversation with Ryan when Brendon gets home, he decides to call Dallon, to tell him how it went.

He goes outside and lights his cigarette before he dials Dallon's number.

"Hey, Brendon," Dallon says in a sleepy voice and Brendon feels bad for not checking the time before calling.

"Hi, I'm sorry I'm calling at such a bad time..." "It's okay, I had to wake up in 20 minutes anyway." "What time is it there?" "It's 7.40 in the morning." "Oh, damn... Well, I'll make it quick, so that you can get like, 15 more minutes of sleep." "No, it's okay, honey."

Brendon can hear Dallon sit up a little.

"Alright, so, I talked to Ryan, just like an hour ago." "How'd it go?" "It went really well. I could see that he really regretted it and I believe him. He's not a bad person, he just made some bad choices." "Yeah, but that bad choice hurt you." "I know, Dallon. But he does regret it and that's what matters."

Dallon sigh and clears his throat.

"Before you say anything, I just wanna say that holding grudges isn't gonna fix anything and it'll only be worse, in the future. I don't ever wanna see Ryan again, but I do want to try an forgive him because he doesn't deserve any bad things." "You sure about that? He assaulted you." "I know, Dallon. I really do. But tell me the point of just never forgiving him?"

Brendon waits for Dallon to answer and he takes a drag of his cigarette.

"Well, I suppose you're right, but I just don't get how you can forgive him." "It's not gonna be easy, but I'm gonna try." "I'll help you in any way I can." "Thank you, Dall. I really appreciate it." "Of course."

Brendon smiles and takes another drag of his cigarette.

"You know, Dallon... I really hope that this won't scare you away, but I think I might be in love with you," Brendon says and he holds his breath.

"Are you serious?" Dallon asks, in a shocked voice and for a second Brendon thinks that Dallon is just gonna hang up and never contact him ever again.

"Yeah..." "I might be in love with you too." "What? You're not kidding, right?" "No, I'm not. I've really liked you for a while now and I was gonna tell you when I got back from Paris."

Brendon swears his heart is gonna explode. Dallon liked him back.

"Hey, if I can, I'll try and get back to New York in 2 days." "I'll come and get you from the airport!!" "I would love that."

Brendon smiles and blushes a little at the thought of seeing Dallon again.

"Hey, I gotta go now. I've got work," Dallon says softly.

"Yeah. good luck at work, Dall." "Thanks. I'll talk to you as soon as I can." "Byeee."

Dallon ends the call and throws his phone onto the bed, while he rolls onto his stomach and buries his face in his pillow.

He screams for a few seconds, letting all the emotions out.

He usually kept all of his emotions to himself, but right now it was too much for him to handle anymore.

After a few seconds, he gets out of bed and gets dressed. When he looks in the mirror, in the bathroom, he tries to get the grin off his face because he was afraid that no one would take him seriously like this.

He takes a deep breath and tries to stop smiling, but he just can't.

Brendon likes him. Brendon actually likes him.

He just decides to go to the restaurant because he really doesn't think that he can stop smiling.

Stella is already sitting at a table when Dallon sits down at the other side of the table.

"Good morning, Stella! How are you?" Dallon asks and he looks at his assistant, who looks up and smiles.

"Good morning, Dallon. I'm good. And it seems like you are good too." "I am amazing." "What's gotten you in such a good mood?" "Brendon told me he likes me." "That's great! I'm so happy for you, Dallon!"

Dallon smiles even more and he takes in a deep breath.

"No one is gonna take me seriously anymore because I literally can't stop smiling." "Well, I'll do all the talking then."

Dallon nods and takes his laptop out of his bag.

"Alright, so, I was thinking we go back tomorrow, so we're back in New York in 2 days. I'll pay for your hotel stay." "Thank you so much, I really appreciate it." "Of course."

Stella and Dallon just work for a while. They just work for a while, until Dallon starts to get hungry and gets up to get breakfast.

"Dallon, we need to get to the affiliate in an hour, so after breakfast, we really need to go, alright?" "Yeah, sure."

Dallon gets his breakfast and walks back to the table where they were sitting.

"You know, I honestly never thought that I would ever fall in love with someone and now here I am."

Stella smiles and chuckles a little.

"I'm happy for you, Dallon."
