Zane lay uncauntious on his chair while his mind was in the digiverse. But it seemed that Zane was going through struggle. His face was tensing up and the red light on his stats was beeping.
Pythor, Techno Wu and the nindroid army were ascending to battle. Nya, Morro, Pixal and Borg were all held up doing something.
"Unh! Go, these are my legs, and my problem." Borg said holding back his porstetic spider-like vehicle.
"Nya, let's go" Morro said stepping away and pulling out a small cylinder.
"Okay." Nya stepped back and put a golden bracelet.
"We'll hold them off as long as we can." Nya said running to the fight.
"The other have to hurry it up, but we'll do what we can." Morro said rushing off.
"Pixal, listen to me closely." Bord said. "You need to bypass the main subnet, argh, overwrite the existing corrupted code."
"Yes, sir." Pixal said typing on the keyboard.
-the digiverse-
The ninja have almost completely drowned in the code. Their heads fell below from any point of view. They all thought they were done until the crane from earlier sprung to life and pulled all the ninja out.
"I temporarily altered the corrupted code. Hurry, I can only resist him for so long." Pixal's voice came through the crane that just exploded as Pixal finished.
"We have to get to that activation port, quick!" Cole shouted.
"Ugh, It's all downhill from here!" Jay said staring down the tower.
"Just because your friend thinks she can change the rules doesn't mean I can't play the same game! This is my world!" The Overlord exclaimed.
The whole area began to shake.
"WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" Cole yelled.
"AAAH! I SPOKE TO SOON!" Jay screamed.
It seemed that the entire digital city had flipped upsidedown. All the loose items we're falling the ninjas' way.
They were able to jump onto a lantern like thing then into the building were they finaly found solid ground to stand on.
"Ah, well, that gives us a new perspective." Kai said.
-The real Ninjago City-
Pythor, Techno Wu and a band if nindroids exited the elevator and walked forwards.
"I'll give you one chance to surrender!" Nya yelled as she blocked their path. Morro stepped forwards beside her. He took out his staff.
"Ahahaha. Cute." Cryptor laughed.
Nya frowned. She looked at her bracelet and the red button flashing.
"I hate it when people call me cute." Nya said as she turned to fave the window behind her. Morro turned to see what she was looking at.
"Oh shoot."
The two braced themselves as Nya's big red samurai x suit came crashing in. It knocked back all the Nya's opponents as she got locked in her suit.
"Ha! Would you look at that!" Nya smirked.
"You made me break a nail." Nya taunted as she played with through hand of the samurai mech.
As Nya got busy with the nindroids, Pythor and Techno Wu went on to the other elevator.
"Nya! Keep them busy!" Morro shouted and he gripped his staff.
"Yeah, yeah! And you go stop them!" Nya shouted back. Morro wooded and ran off.
-the digiverse-
"Ha...heh..... Hey! We're not thinking big enough!" Jay exclaimed as he stood on a door frame.
"Why climb when we can do this?!" Jay jumped out of the nearest window with his techno blade in hand. As he was about time land, Jay's techno cruiser appeared and the lighting ninja began to drive up the building.

"That kid plays way too may games." Kai said.
"Jay's right." Cole said.
"Forget this!" The ninja of earth jumped off the window sil, summoned his mech and started to run up towards the point.
"Okay, you can do this Kai." He told himself.
"You can--" Kai jumped out of the window and his jet glitched into place. For about a second, Kai had it! Until he didn't. The jet disappeared and Kai started to fall.
"AAAHHH! I CAN'T DO IT! I CAN'T DO IT! ICAN'TDOIT!" Kai screamed.
Thankfully, Zane had gotten his hovercraft and caught Kai.
"Gotcha."
"Okay! Let's get to the top!" Cole announced.
"You mean bottom?!" Jay exclaimed.
"Ninja-go!!" The ninja raced, shooting the falling debris out of their way.
-Ninjago city (the non digital one)-
Cyrus Borg was still wresting with his artificial limbs when he looked up.
"Oh no."
Pythor and Techno Wu were on the top level. With Borg preoccupied with his legs, and Pixal preoccupied with the code of the digiverse, there was a clear path to the ninja.
"Hi, sorry I crashed your party." Morro ran infron of them and pushed them back with wind.
"You're not getting anywhere near them." Morro said pointing his staff at them.
"Pixal, stay with through ninja and the code." Morro instructed.
"But, I too have to protect the ninja." Pixal said.
"You can help them by making sure they don't die in the code!" Morro said, swinging his arm to keep Pixal back.
Another nindroid pulled up to the window in a hovercopter.
Morro quickly jumped over and disarmed Techno Wu. The nindroid in the hovercopter shot a grapple through the window and grabbed Borg.
"ARGH! Pixal! It's up to you now!" Borg yelled as he got pulled away. The female nindroid watched in fear.
-the digiverse-
The ninja were making their way to the bottom of the building, blasting the obstacles away.
"The data filters into the ground! The heart of the system must be behind it." Cole concluded.
"Then let's be surgical about this." Jay said.
The ninjas' vehicles shot missiles at the ground, making an opening to get to the port.
"Ninja-go!!"
Landing, the in ja despawned their vehicles and stood up. There was a large tower looking thing with a big center at the top looking like electricity being compressed in one spot.
"The reboot activation port! It can't be that easy, can it?" Kai asked.
"I'm not gonna stand around to find out." Cole rushed to the center.
"Let's hack this thing!" Kai said.
The four ninja placed the techno blades in the activation port and it was like all the gears started to turn.
Dark blue pixels formed in the middle of the turf, creating the digital embodiment of the Overlord.
"Enough! You may have beat my program, but you cannot beat me!" The Overlord exclaimed.
"He's blocked the reboot signal. We have to complete the circuit." Zane said.
"Unh! We have to move him?" Jay whined.
"We can try." Kai said.
"And you can fail!" The Overlord added. The light beam from the rebooting system shot out only to be blocked by the Overlord's presence.
"WRAAAAAAH!" Morro blasted wind around him and forced back Techno Wu and Pythor. Morro then went on to focused on Pythor when he got struck in the back by Techno Wu. Morro dropped the staffs he was holding. Techno Wu picked up his own staff and readied to fight.

Morro grabbed his staff back and hit Techno Wu back... Towards the window where the main switch was located.
"Oh, why did but have to be placed there?" Morro stood up and rushed over.
"Turn off the main switch!" Pythor yelled.
"No!" Pixal cried.
Morro clashed staffs with his turned master. Techno Wu, with his hands busy, kicked Morro in the shin to try and get him to back off.
"K-AARGH!" Morro winced but kept holding strong.
"If the switch turns it off, the ninja will be left in the program forever!" Pixal cried.
"Just like they left me in the devourer!" Pythor shot back.
The elevator door opened. The one in it stepped out. He jumped over Pythor, pulled Morro off of his staff lock. Morro fell down in return. The nindroid threw Techno Wu out the window. The nindroid pulled his hood off to reveal the face of Lloyd's father, sensei Garmadon.
"Uncle!" Morro exclaimed.
"You're back!" Pixal exclaimed.
"But your oath! You said you'd never fight." Pythor reminded.
"When you took my son, all bets were off." Garmadon said back.
Garmadon threw a punch and hit Pythor right in the face. He continued to fight and Pythor continued to try and dodge. The tables started to turn when Garmadon had the snake near the broken window.
"You're too late. Your son's already ours!" Pythor exclaimed. He jumped out the window and landed on a convenient hovercopter. Garmadon spotted Wu standing on an extension by the building.
"Uncle, hold on. Where are you going?" Morro asked, reaching for his staff.
"I will settle things with your father." Garmaodn said.
"You need to stay here and make sure the ninja succeed."
Morro nodded and Garmadon junoed out to reach a new opponent.
"Are you okay?" Pixal asked.
"Yeah, yeah. Just some... Minor injuries...?" Morro said slowly standing up.
"Minor? You were struck several times with such force!" Pixal exclaimed.
"Meh." Morro shrugged.
Garmadon jumped down to the extension where Wu was.
"Sorry, brother, it ends now." He said.
"Sweet dreams." Techno Wu said coldly and they approached for a fight.
"FOOLS!"
The ninjas in the digiverse got thrown back. Jay got wrapped around in one of the Overlord's tentacle thing and was trying to get out.
"All your existence, you have been powered by a lie..." The Overlord said.
"I got him! I got him!" Jay said, clearly struggling.
"...that the good guys always win." The Overlord continued to monologue.
"He's too big!" Kai exclaimed in little despair.
"Sadly, they don't." This Overlord kept going.
"We cannot fail!" Zane said determined.
"I have the power now. Technology has made me infinite!" The Overlord exclaimed.
"You let me go, you overgrown—Whoa! Argh!" Jay sighed as he got thrown down.
"The golden ninja... IS MINE!" The Overlord shouted.
Lloyd's hand slid down the glass. He didn't know how long he could fight back anymore. He still fought. And hard.
"I am not alone...." Lloyd muttered.
"I am not alone!"
"You are not alone!"
Zane clenched his fist.
I am not alone.
"Lloyd?" He asked himself. Zane got a surge of determination flowing through him.
"You're wrong, Overlord."
"Good guys may not always win, but they never give up!" Zane stepped forwards. The nindroid concentrated on himself.
"If we can't move him, go around him!" Zane yelled.
The white ninja's gi was no longer white. It was shining, reflective, bright. Zane ran around to get on top of the Overlord.
"What? Zane..." Kai started.
"You're gold!"
"Exactly." Zane smirked from under his mask.
"Even in the darkness, we have the choice to reflect the light!"
The light from the rebooting system hit Zane. The beam shot downwards onto the battle field.
"Cole, get into the light!" Zane shouted.
The black ninja ran to his spot.
Lloyd from the ground looked up in fear. A hand grabbed the edge of the box the Overlord was generating in.
Cole's gi turned golden, like Zane's, as he hit the light.
"You're a genius!" Cole exclaimed.
"Catch the light, Jay!"
Jay tumbled to his spot. Just as the light reached him, his gi turned gold and the light continued to bend.
"Kai! Run to your position!" Jay yelled.

"I'm too big to fail now." The Overlord said.
"Come on, Kai. You can do it. Just believe!" Jay told him.
"How can I? This is not my world." Kai exclaimed.
"Now, too little, too late. I won't allow!" The Overlord yelled out. Kai dropped to his knees.
At Borg tower, the battle between brother dragged on until Techno Wu forced Garmadon to the edge of the extension.
What Zane's power truly allow...
Kai opened his eyes.
"I allow myself!" He shouted.
Kai's gi shifted to gold as Jay reflected the light his way. Finally, as the last piece was in place, Kai shot the rebooting systems into the activation port.
System reboot. Initiated.
"No! NOOOOOOO!"
A large, blinding light flashed by everyone.
The robots in the city stopped attacking the citizens and attacked the nindroids instead.
Garmadon hung onto his life with one hand as Techno Wu closed in. In a flash of the moment, Wu returned to normal. No cybernetic parts covered or influenced himself anymore.
"Brother?"
Garmadon's grip slipped. Just in time, Wu grabbed onto his hand and kept him front falling.
"Brother." Garmaodn said in return.
Nya was still fighting off the nindroids
"They rebooted the system. Switch your power off line." Cryptor commanded. Nya clenched her must in victory.
"I look forward to our second date." Cryptor said as the nindoids went away.
Pixal pressed the main switch. The ninja slowly regained consciousness.
"I'm... Just... Zane."
Pixal ran. She ran into Zane's arms.
"You're back!" She exclaimed.
"You're so much more than just Zane." Kai said.
"You did it!" Nya ran in and hugged Kai.
"What happed to you?" Jay asked Morro who was sitting back on a counter.
"Minor injuries." Morro replied.
"Kicked in the back?" Cole asked.
"..." Morro said nothing.
"You all did it."
The ninja turned to face the elevator. Walking towards them was the two senseis.
"Ah! Sensei, you're back!" Jay exclaimed. Morro's face lit up.
"Father!" He ran to embrace him.
"Ay! What a reunion." Kai added.
"So, the system is completely clear?" Zane asked. Pixal searched.
"There is no evidence of the Digital Overlord. He is erased." Pixal sighed in relief.
"But, what about Lloyd?" Garmadon asked.
"Argh..." Lloyd pulled himself across the ground to find an exit.
"Losing altitude. Impact in T-minus 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1."
Lloyd slipped and bolted right for the ocean. As the mechanical dragon crashed down.
Lloyd opened his eyes. The water really freed him. He started to swim.
"Lloyd? Are you there?" Pixal asked through a radio.
"Do you read me?"
"I'm here. I'm all right." Lloyd's voice came through.
"Son, where are you?" Garmadon asked.
"Dad? You're alive! Uh, I'm not alone. I'm in a remote village." Lloyd informed.
"Stay where you are, we're picking you up." Garmadon instructed.
"Ah, good, 'cause, uh, my Golden Power's, uh, a little spent." Lloyd sighed.
The group laughed a bit. Pixal turned her head to see a tipped over wheelchair.
"Don't worry, we'll find him. And when we stop Pythor, all of this will be over." Zane reasurred her.
"I hope not." Pixal said, holding Zane's hand.
The ocean is deep and can hold multiple mysteries. In this case, the answer to this mystery will not be one that leaves hope.
"I am free. Free."
