Finn watched with a smile on his face as Rachel and Maria let loose on the dance floor. He loved the way Rachel's hips moved and how she would shake her ass. He wasn’t the only one that had noticed how good she looked either, he was keeping a close eye on a group of guys who had been eyeing her off all night. He was so preoccupied in fact that he didn’t notice the person who sat beside him.

“Didn’t bring your dancing shoes tonight?” Serena asked.

Finn sighed, when was she going to get the message. He ignored her and continued to watch Rachel.

“Does El know that you’re here ogling your best friend?” she asked then. She didn’t like the way Finn was watching Rachel's every move on the dance floor.

“Oh course she does” he smiled deciding to play along with the game. If it didn’t worry Rachel then he wouldn’t let it bother him, but personally he wanted Serena to know that Rachel was the woman who owned his heart.

He noticed then that one of the guys who had been watching Rachel and Maria was making his way over to them, he also noticed the Michael had seen this too and was already making a beeline to his girlfriend.

“Excuse me” he said getting up planning on joining Michael.

Turning to Tess “Did you just see that?” she demanded angrily. He was so not brushing her off to get it on with mousy Rachel Berry, she thought.

“I saw it” Tess replied biting her lower lip. Sure, Tess thought Finn was scrumptious but it was obvious from what she was seeing between him and Rachel and she didn’t stand a chance with him and apparently either did Serena but she certainly wasn’t going to loose sleep over it.

“What’s that in his hands?” Tess asked then, she could see him playing with something around Rachel's neck.

“Looks like a necklace” she shrugged not at all interested in what Finn was holding but rather how he was looking at Rachel.

Serena watched in shock and anger then as Rachel raised her face and Finn lowered his until their lips connected.

Finn spun Rachel around in his arms after the first touch of her lips, “El” he moaned joining his mouth to hers again. His tongue sweeped out and along her bottom lip and Rachel opened eagerly for him. In the background they heard another song start and their hips unconsciously began moving to the beat as their tongues glided against each other passionately.

When they pulled apart they were both breathless and when Rachel looked around she noticed that they had quite an audience. The guys that he been watching her before were scowling at Finn and it was then that she noticed that Serena and Tess had also seen everything as well.

“I think we’ve got an audience” she whispered against Finn's ear.

“Yeah” he asked never removing his eyes from her to look at what she was talking about, personally he didn’t care he just wanted her to stay in his arms.

Pulling her more firmly against him his hands ran up and down the bare skin of her stomach while his mouth nuzzled her neck.

“Cut it out you two” they head then and both looked up to find an amused Michael and Maria laughing at them.

Flushing red Rachel took a small step back from Finn but allowed him to take her hand and entwine their fingers together.

The four of them made their way back to the table “I have to get back to work” Michael told Maria regretfully.

“I’ll come with you and get us some drinks,” Maria said before following Michael towards the bar.

“Come here” Finn grinned at Rachel who was sitting in the seat next to him.

Standing up with a smile Rachel allowed Finn to pull her onto his lap their mouths coming together again. When they pulled apart Finn rubbed his nose against hers and smiled.

“I have to go to the toilet,” he told her regretfully. He didn’t want to move he loved the feel of her body in his arms, they had really needed to get out tonight and let loose. Rachel was so stressed over her parents and choosing which job offers to accept and Finn was stressed because he had been walking on eggshells for the past few weeks. Tonight though they could both just forget about their problems and let loose and that’s what they were doing.

“Ok” she smiled before standing up and letting him get up, she watched his figure until he disappeared.

“Wow that was quite a show”

Rachel dragged her eyes from the place Finn had just disappeared and looked up to find Serena with Tess a few steps behind her.

“God do you ever leave” Rachel groaned.

“Oh you’d like that wouldn’t you?” she snarled at Rachel.

“Well I can hardly blame you, Rachel I mean Finn is a wonderful lover I’m surprised you haven’t tried to get with him before” she said then.

Rachel stiffened in her seat at the reminder of Finn's sexual encounter with Serena and her hand reached up to grab her chain unconsciously. Thankfully Maria chose that time to return to the table with some drinks and sat down next to Rachel.

“Yeah he is isn’t he?” she grinned wickedly; she surprised herself and Serena by saying it.

Serena scoffed “Like you’d know” she said. “Finn doesn’t need to sleep with someone like you when he can sleep with me” she replied smugly.

“Well it must not have been to good Serena since he didn’t come back for seconds” she smirked knowing the comment would hit the girl right where it would hurt. The one thing Serena thought that she had up on her was her intimacy with Finn and Rachel knew she would have fun delivering the news that would shatter her huge ego.

Serena’s face mirrored the shock she felt, had Finn really discussed all this with Rachel Berry.

“You know you surprise me, Rachel I didn’t think you were such a backstabbing bitch. I mean I only saw you the other day having coffee with Finn's supposed love of his life,” she said then.

“I think you have your facts wrong, Serena” Maria spoke up. She couldn’t sit by and listen to the annoying brunette any longer.

“No I don’t. I mean she’s very beautiful. I could almost understand why Finn chose her over me but now to cheat on her with Rachel, that is just stupid” she said.

Maria and Rachel both laughed “It’s impossible for Finn to cheat on El with Rachel, Serena” she informed her.

Serena’s eyes narrowed then to Rachel and she noticed the chain that Finn had been playing with earlier now in Rachel's hand.

“What’s that?” she demanded.

“This?” Liz asked confused.

“Yes” she said.

Unclasping her hand Rachel showed Serena the gold necklace with the heart pendant.

“That’s the same as Finn's” she gasped.

When Finn walked out of the toilet he started heading immediately back to the table he had left Rachel at but he stopped suddenly when as idea came to him, so instead he rushed to the bar hoping to recruit Michael to help him.

“Hey man I need your help?” he said.

Michael raised an eyebrow at his friend “With what exactly?”

“a little project for Rachel” he replied with a smile.
