《Monster》Chapter 7

Do you ever just feel like the world has shifted from below your feet? That's something Suho apparently felt, his mind was racing and his heart was beating at a really high pace. He could hear every single thump of the heartbeat ring in his ears.
this wasn't good for Suho at all.
'Can not inhaling or exhaling breath kill you?' Suho thought.
"When did i get home?" Sehun grumbled rubbing his temples.
"A..a few hours ago..." Suho barely choked out. He was trembling like a leaf , like a homeless man without a coat on a snowy day.
"What time is it?" Sehun questioning.
"Almost eleven...." Suho was afraid to answer this question because a Sehun had came home drunk and went to bed the time he usually wakes up to leave for work. . If Suho told Sehun it was eleven, Sehun would end up yelling at Jun for not waking him up early and not being able to go to work which he can't now and Suho would end up crying again.
"Alright , hmm." Sehun spoke surprising Suho because neither did he yell nor question Suho as of why he didn't wake him up? Suho was beyond confused now because Sehun is that kind of a person who would rather skip his 25th year anniversary to go work.
"Jun?" Sehun called out to Suho who had zoomed out still thinking about what's going on with Sehun because he was too scared to ask or be yelled at.
"Y-yeah?"
"Ask InSeong to get two suitcases out please."
"Suitcases?.." Suho asked biting his bottom lip. Is Sehun going to leave me? Was the first thing that reeled in Suho's mind and he instantly felt dizzy.
"Yeah remember the important meeting that came up last night, well it was about expanding the business and dan you know my manager? well he introduced me to some big shot businessmen settled in new york and they would be ecstatic to do business with our company." Sehun explained getting up from the bed as he slipped his slippers on.

Suho was still confused but slightly relieved because Sehun wasn't going to leave him yet.
"So you..you're-"
"Yeah, 'will have to move to new york for two months to check out how things work over there and then get the contract on also I'll have to buy in some land to build our international first building in and all this will take at least two months top."
Leave. New york. Two months.
"You..you're going alone?" Suho gulped.
"Yeah, I figured it would be better to go alone because what would you even do there i mean you would just be stranded there alone you know?" Suho chuckled as his eyes brimmed with tears. Oh the irony of being alone. Like he wasn't alone and lonely here.
"You're okay with this right?" Sehun asked walking over to Suho and put both his hands on Suho's shoulders who was staring down at his feet trying not to cry.
"Yeah..I-i understand why wouldn't i be?" Suho forced a smile while his heart ached. Sehun was really going to leave his pregnant husband for two or three months to go through a time like this alone.
"Good, then please be a babe and ask InSeong to bring in two suitcases while i shower, my flight is going to leave at six today and i need to be at the airport around four."
He was leaving today, Sehun was going to leave today for two whole months still oblivious about Suho and his pregnancy.
Suho was too starstruck to speak honestly, he lost all his availability to talk so he just slightly nodded.
Sehun smiled mumbling a 'good boy' and placed a kiss on Suho forehead then strolled towards the bathroom.
Suho was still standing in the bedroom processing what had happened the morning and now this, when his phone rang.

He didn't have the energy to even pick it up so he let it go to voicemail. His phone rang three times making him frustrated, he finally sighed rubbing his eyes away a little to get rid of the water glistening and tapped on the phone.
Two missed calls from Kai and one message.
He clicked the message app opening the message.
from : Kai Something came up with kookie, Chanyeol called saying he's sick so i wouldn't be able to come right now sorry.
-received at 11:08 am
Suho sighed, at least he wouldn't have to deal with jin right now.
to : Kai Don't have to worry, i told you everything was fine just go check on my little sweetcheeks make sure he's okay and update me please!
-Sent at 11:09am
Kai replied almost immediately telling Suho he sure will update him on what's wrong with kookie. Suho then replied back saying stop wasting time and get home to Chanyeol and kookie soon to which Kai replied typing in sorry and then another sorry for texting back.
By the time Sehun was done with his shower and came out of the bathroom, Suho had already laid out two suitcases on the bed opened and Sehun's clothes on the side neatly folded.
"Thanks Myeonie ." Sehun smiled which Suho returned not really sure of what else to do so he just left Sehun alone in the room to pack.
The entire afternoon Suho and Sehun didn't talk, Sehun had asked NariAh to send in his lunch in the room because he was busy packing which NariAh did with a frown and an angry expression on her face.
Suho on the other hand sat alone with his plate untouched on his lap in the balcony with the fresh air.
"Love," NariAh spoke standing next to the sliding door.
"Hmm?" Suho said still looking out at the birds chirping me flying, happy as they ever will be.
"He's leaving."
"Okay.."
"He's calling for you.." Suho sighed picking up the plate and putting it on the table as he got up, his face showed no emotion at all, he was out of emotions to reveal.
"He's in the living room." NariAh said and walked away.
Suho dragged his feet to the living room where Sehun was standing tapping his feet furiously with two suitcases accompanying him.
"Suho, hurry up i'll be late." Sehun rolled his eyes looking at Suho who slowly made his way towards him.
"Sorry...." Suho mumbled/whispered.
And then that was it, Sehun smiled at Suho planting a quick kiss over his' lips and walked out of the door without giving a second glance at him.

The Last Orellen is a long, character-focused progression fantasy set in a vast universe about a boy's journey to become a powerful mage. Reviews are deeply appreciated. Please do not repost my work elsewhere without my written permission. What type of reader is this book for? You might enjoy The Last Orellen if you like... Clever and resourceful protagonists. Big fantasy worlds. Multiple cultures, lots of characters, many different types of magic--this story is expansive rather than closely focused on a narrow storyline. Progression fantasy that takes its time. Our main character will be progressing through magical ranks, but this is going to be a lengthy story. If you're more about the journey than the destination, this might be the book for you. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Through Mist, Veil, and Summer
Anna Lawrence is a quiet girl who'd rather sit and write poetry than bustle about with her peers. After an incident resulting in a panic attack and a trip to the hospital, Anna's foster mother sends her to stay with her aunt and uncle for the summer. Upon arriving in the small mountain town of Glenwood, Anna finds herself caught in the machinations of another world on the other side of the fog: warring witches, animal-headed skypirates, and the boldest, bravest, most interesting girl Anna has ever met. THROUGH MIST, VEIL, AND SUMMER is my homage to Studio Ghibli films. It's a fantasy romance with a dash of adventure and a sprinkling of self-contemplation. It's a story that moves a little slower, a little quieter. It is my fourth novel, written between October 1, 2017 and January 6, 2019.
