Giveon - Heartbreak Anniversary

Rory sat on the pool edge, kicking the water gently with her leg. Gideon had informed her that his client was hosting a dinner party tonight and he was taking her. She was excited to leave the villa finally after being locked in it for over two days.

She enjoyed swimming in the ocean and the pool but it was getting boring now. She wanted to go into the city and see the ancient monuments, walk the marketplace and buy everyone a souvenir.

"Mi teroso," Gideon spoke from the doorway, "Come inside now. We will be leaving for the party soon."

She nodded, drying herself as she followed him inside.

Upon their arrival, clothes had been prepared for them. The closet wasn't filled entirely, there were at least a few pieces for different occasions. Gideon had chosen to wear a navy coloured two piece tux, he looked gorgeous in it. Judging by his appearance, this wasn't just a casual dinner party. The thought twisted her stomach - she never been to a fancy dinner party. Her father never held one at his mansion.

Though, that was probably because he was housing an illegitimate child he was trying hide.

Rory picked out a puffy short sleeved dress in light yellow with a floral print. The dress hugged her breasts to her waist before falling loosely to her calves. An opening ran up her right leg to her thighs.

She brushed her hair, pulling into a half up do and tied it with a red ribbon.

She twirled in the mirror and Gideon clapped as he watched with amusement. She didn't know he was there watching the entire time.

In two strides in was in front of her, gazing down with a soft expression. Seeing anything other than anger on him was even more petrifying. Rory had grasped his mood swings quite yet.

Gideon's hand was resting on her waist and the other was pushing her dress up.

"The dress is going to be wrinkled." She breathed, sensing his lustful intentions.

"Just one taste." He murmured, resting his forehead against hers.

His fingers slide pass her thong and into her opening. She gasped, clutching his forearm for support. Like he had said, he only wanted a taste. He pulled out his fingers and reached into his mouth, sucking. He relished in the taste of her as pleasurable groan vibrated from his chest.

Rory watched him with flushed cheeks.

"This is how you make me feel." He grabbed her hand and pressed to the bulge in his pants. He chuckled at the embarrassment on her face.

That was just to tease her. What really wanted to show her was in his chest, beating only for her.

He moved her hands to the middle of his chest where his heart was racing. "Two years ago, it beat for the first time when I saw you. You make me feel so alive."

She swallowed staring at her hands covered by his big ones. She had no thoughts nor feelings even though she felt like she was feeling everything all at in once.

"That is why I have to have you." He declared, "I knew you were mine from then on."

"Did you think about doing it all differently?" She asked him, glancing into his eyes under her lashes.

She was curious. If he liked her so much why didn't he just confess to her like a normal person. Why did he have to kidnap and ruin her life instead?

"Would you have wanted me if I did?" He countered already knowing her answer. She remained silent, distracting herself with whatever she could. "I thought so." He snapped, "Then, it was the only way."

He turned to leave the room and her chest tightened in frustration.

She shouted at his retreating back, causing him to halt, "It wasn't the only way!"

"Then tell me the other way?"

"Find someone who actually loves you and wants you." She spat, glaring daggers at his back.

Gideon turned around slowly, like a predator sensing its prey. In two steps he was in front of her, hands wrapped around her neck strangling the air out of her body.

"You love me." He growled, squeezing. "You'll love no one but me."

With a harsh push, Rory's back hit the floor. She yelped, staring up at him completely stunned. He was angry at her, again. So she closed her eyes and waited expecting to hear him unbuckle his belt and unzipping his trousers. But he didn't, he was gone.

She pushed back the tearful relief and got back onto her feet.

A pair of sandal wedges was placed by the vanity that would go lovely with her dress. But she shook her head at them and slip on her old battered pair of classic trainers. Besides, she didn't know how to walk in heels anyways.

Gideon was chatting on the phone as he walked to the lounge. The moment he saw her he walked out the villa with Sebastian and her following behind.

The car ride to the party was silent. The atmosphere so tense, her stomach twisted unpleasantly.

They arrive at a white stone fortress - like something out of Ancient Greece. She exited the car in awe, glancing around the front yard with her mouth gap. It was a scene of luxury and elegance.

Gideon's hand entwined with hers and he tugged her along the steps of the fortress.

"Gideon, you make it!" A deep voice hollered.

Rory peered from behind and spotted a tall man, as tall as Gideon, at the entrance. He was slender, not as well built as her husband with his tree trunk like muscles though, he still appeared lean and strong. He was dressed in green trousers and a black dress shirt.

He was handsome too with raven black hair and the most beautiful shade of eyes she had ever seen. Steele grey orbs framed by thick black lashes. Those orbs flickered to her and smiled. He craned his head to the side.

"Mrs Torres?" He raised a knowing eyebrow. "The wife I've heard so much about."

Gideon gave her hand a little squeeze. She glanced at him but he was staring ahead with a blank expression. He was still angry at her, she thought.

"Hello," she greeted in a tiny voice turning her attention to the man with the outstretched hand.

She took it and Gideon squeezed her hand a little tighter. The moment she pulled back her hand, he lets go.

"I'm Tobias Evander." He introduced, "Greek Mafia God."

"You're drunk already." Gideon sighed before shaking Tobias' outstretch hands. "Though, I won't call yourself a god when you don't have your cities under control."

"It's under control." He retorted, "at the moment."

They were led inside and a party was underway. As expected classical music was playing and there were people dressed in haute couture, in chiffon and in silk. Suddenly feeling self conscious that she didn't dress for the occasion, she tucked herself behind Gideon's massive structure to hide herself.

During the first half of the party, she was trailing behind him like a lost puppy. People had introduced themselves though they were more interested in him than her, especially the women. They were literally begging to be bent over and fucked.

She was right there with massive rock on her ring ringer and a gold band that matched his.

"Gideon!" Another feminine voice called.

Rory peeped from behind and saw a stunning looking red headed woman sauntering towards them - no to him. She wore a blood red dress to match her fiery red hair. It hugged her curves and fell to the ground with a sexy slit that revealed more than it should. She probably liked it like that.

She threw herself on Gideon who did nothing to push her away.

"Did you miss me?" She asked, battering her long lashes.

"Nice to see you again, Calliope." Gideon said nonchalantly.

"It's been so long." Her eyes darted to Rory, who she merely ignored. "I missed you. I missed your big cock especially." She whispered the last part a smug smile tugging at her lips as she eyed Rory. "Why don't we go out the back and-"

"Sorry, I have to decline." He abruptly cut her off in a cold manner. "I intend to keep my vows to my wife."

Her gaze fell on Rory again, this time they were judgements. She eyed her from the ground up and concluded there was nothing special or appealing. They weren't even comparable.

"I heard you got married." She said, "Though, it really doesn't matter to me. Married man are the most sexually deprived. So, come find me when you want a good fuck."

She sauntered away, swaying her hips in the process and catching the eyes of the men in the room.

"Don't mind her." He whispered in Rory's ear. "It was just sex with her, nothing more."

While Gideon spent rest of the evening talking business with potential clients, Rory chose to stand on the balcony that overlooked the sea. Dinner was still being prepared and most likely served later, after the sun sets.

Sebastian's was assigned to watched her and he did, like a hawk. He was standing beside her, leaning on one elbow and a drink in one hand. He was dressed in a dark suit, his brown hair combed neatly back.

Back at the estate, she recalled him wearing mainly a leather jacket, elbow length shirts and blue jeans. He was often relaxed so this was so out of character him. He must be as uncomfortable as she was.

"Fuck," he muttered under his breathe. "He's never going to accept these fuckers to be his clients."

She turned to glance at a group of men who had swarmed around her husband. They were listening and talking attentively and Gideon was clearly entertaining them with his mask of smiles.

"Why?" She asked, "Won't they just bring him more money?"

"They're rich, I give them that." Sebastian said, "But none of them can afford his prices. Beside, Gideon has sophisticated criteria he wants his clients to meet and those men aren't it."

"Like what?"

"Loyalty." He replied, "He can't have people backstabbing him especially with the goods he sells."

"I don't understand." She tilted her head in confusion. "How would people backstab him?"

"It only takes one person, with enough information, to inform the authorities of his business for it to all come undone." Memories of the time they were forced to go off grid resurfaced because a client had was caught and spilled enough information that put them on the radar. "So, hours of background check is completed on the clients and their friends and families. We have people follow them months on end too."

"How much does his products go for?" She asked once again curious about Gideon's business.

"Depends on what kind of weapons we're making." He answered.

"What kind of weapons do you make?"

"Whatever our clients wants to see."

"Can you stop being so evasive?" Rory whined. She just wanted to know.

"Maybe you should talk to your husband instead of me." He snorted, sipping his drink. "He'll throw a tantrum if he finds out you've been talking to me about him."

She rolled her eyes, "We were talking about his business not him." She swallowed, she did wanted to know more about him. They never really get the chance to talk since he was always so busy burying his dick in her.

"Do you know why my dad gave me to Mr Torres?" She bravely asked after a moment. The thought had been weighing on her for ages now. Perhaps, knowing why would settled her wary thoughts and make her feel less guilty when she eventually runs away.

"Carl stole from Gideon." Sebastian answered, to her surprise. She had thought he'd be evasive again. "He went to your home that day to kill him but I guess he must have other ideas, wanted something else."

Her face paled at the knowledge her father was meant to die that day. Luci's words crossed her mind again - it's not cruel to choose yourself over others. Wasn't that her father had done? He probably didn't think about it twice when he made that choice. Then, here she was living in hell because she didn't want harm to come to them.

It wasn't fair. Did he feel guilty at all?

"Don't cry." Sebastian demanded, eyes darting between her and Gideon. Fuck, Gideon was going to kill him. "It's pretty normal in our world actually." That didn't make it better.

"I'm not crying." She choked out, pushing back the tears. She glanced at the sun setting over the horizon, making the clear ocean dance with a ray of colours.

Rory distracted herself with the view while Sebastian just observed her and continued to sip on his drink.

Their oddly comfortable silence was disrupted by Calliope and a different woman equally as beautiful. She had mousy hair and dark blue eyes wider than her entire face. She was tall especially in the high heels she wore.

"This is the girl Gideon married." Calliope introduced. "I guess you two will be acquainted often."

"Hi," the woman said, offering her hand. "My name is Flora."

"I'm Rory." She replied with shaky smile, taking her hand.

"You're dining on the same table as us so I thought we'd come and say hi." Flora's blue eyes shifted to Sebastian - it appeared like they know each other. "You're dining with us too."

"Just great." He muffled his groan in annoyance with another drink, downing it entirely. Sebastian couldn't help but drink on the job especially since he was around these people. The high class, the heiress and too brave entrepreneurs.

Rory walked between Flora and Calliope, feeling small and less of a woman and more like a middle schooler. Sebastian was behind them and each time she turned around and begged for help with her eyes, he just smiled smugly and pretended he didn't see it.

"Why will we be acquainted often?" She asked Flora.

She sipped on her drink, "Tobias and I are engagedish." She smiled.

"Ish?"

"There's this unspoken thing between us that I can't explain. But I know we were meant to be and I think he does too." She said with a shrug. They continued you walking, "So it's really nice to meet someone else who's married to a mafia boss."

"I've only been married to him for a month." Rory sighed, not by choice either.

"And I can tell he loves you so much." Flora laughs so sweetly. "He's been staring at you all night with this majestic look in his eyes like you're a his whole world or something he'll only worship."

Flora's words made her flushed. But, she didn't believe them. Gideon was not like that at all. He hurt her and did bad things to her.

Dinner was served in a hall set with several circular tables covered in a white sheet. The centrepiece reminder her of something she had seen out of a Greek movie with black grapes, apples and candles in gold holders. She wondered if the fruit was edible or was it just a show piece.

Rory's place was beside Gideon who was already sitting next to Tobias and they were talking away with an unreadable expression on their face. Right now, the aura emitted off these men were dark and dangerous. She won't have walked up to the table if she had a choice - Rory was certain she'd ran for the hills.

"Ladies." Tobias greeted, a smile falling on his face suddenly though it doesn't hide the tension in his posture.

Flora noticed it too. Thus, her hand reached to rub his arms, running up and down in a soothing manner.

"What's the matter?" She asked, peeking through her lashes. "Is it the other gangs again?"

Tobias relaxed his shoulders and lean against his chair, he turned to Gideon, "Perhaps, I should take your lead." He chuckled, "Kill my father like you killed yours to take control."

Rory's mouth hung open at his words and horror filled her expression. Her eyes darted between the two men who were chatting about killing their own relatives as if it were an everyday task.

Calliope tilted her head as she noticed the fear plastered across the girl's face, "You didn't know?" She carefully tested the waters. "You didn't know, your husband killed his father and his father's new family?"

"Calliope." Sebastian growled in warning.

Gideon swirled his drink before downing in it. He pointed a glare at Calliope, in hopes to shut her up but knowing her she loved it when men threatened her. She can turn all that rage into something sexual. Perhaps, that's why men lined up to fuck her because she let them explore their suppressed urges with her.

"I didn't kill my father to gain control." He said, "I killed him to get revenge."

"No that I think about," Calliope smirked smugly, proud that she knew something Rory didn't. "The day you got married, wasn't it the tenth-"

She didn't get to finish her sentence because an explosion bursted, big enough to rock the fortress and its content inside. Gideon's body was in front of her immediately, wrapped her around like a shield.

Through the mass of panicked people, gun fires were hear, loud and getting closer. Rory closed her eyes as the gasped turned into screams of terror.

They were under attack.
