《Protected by BTS》Chapter 4: Kim Namjoon & RM

Once you regained consciousness, you couldn't open your eyes. It seemed as if there was a cloth over it, but when you tried to remove it, your wrist stung. You were restrained on what felt like a bed, with your hands tied at its post.
You were restrained to the hotel bed and blindfolded.
You struggled about when the voices of male strangers interrupted. "She's awake." Jungkook said as he stood up from the counter.
Yoongi and RM had looked up from your laptop to see your struggling figure. They had been scanning through all the information you had already compiled.
"Who are you?" You said in a quiet, timid voice. Yoongi only scoffed and Jungkook was the first to reply, "I think the question is who are you?"
"I-I can't tell you that." The words of your father chanted in your mind. Do not tell anyone who you are.
The 3 boys were not amused. They wanted answers and they wanted them now. This was a sensitive topic to them because it could leak Namjoon's identity as RM. People knowing the identity of Bangtan's leader would create another world of problems.
"You really don't want to make this harder than it already is. We saw the information on the laptop. Start talking before we make you start talking." Jungkook gritted out in anger.
If you couldn't come clean about who you were, you could at least tell them motives.
"The-the information on the laptop is because I-I need to find Kim Namjoon. I'm sorry about earlier. You g-guys must be part of some mob with RM but I swear I didn't mean to follow him! I thought he could help with some leads to Kim Namjoon but please I didn't do anything!" You said in one breath and pleaded.
The boys looked relieved. Based off of what you said, they know Kim Namjoon's identity as RM, notorious mob leader of Bangtan was safe. The only problem now was you.
"What do you want with Kim Namjoon anyways?" Namjoon finally spoke up and thought it weird to reference himself in the third person. "And how did you know to come to Illsan-gu to find him?"

"It's personal." You said quietly not wanting to give information out about what happened to your father.
You heard Yoongi laugh, "Personal? This is going to get a lot more personal to us and it's going to turn out real ugly if you keep things from us."
You bit your lip and Namjoon walked back over to the laptop. He continually was impressed by the amount of information you had on him. If his enemies had this information, they would surely be done for.
He understood that you were truly someone not to be trifled with.
"Suga." Namjoon stopped Yoongi from attacking you even more with his words and Jungkook looked like he was about to choke you out. The boys were always so protective over each other since this situation dealt with Namjoon's identity.
The 2 looked at Namjoon as he sighed, "Leave it be for now. I'd like to bring her back with us. Her innocent act is too good to be true for this amount of skill of hacking."
You felt proud of yourself when he said that but then obviously remembered the situation you were in. Namjoon rubbed a hand over his face as he continued to look at the endless information you had.
Hours went by and you hadn't moved from your position. You wondered how long you were unconscious for, but there's no way to be certain. Also, it wasn't the most comfortable bed, but a bed was still a bed.
"Are we still in the hotel room?" You asked politely since you were blindfolded and not sure how to engage into conversation with them.
"Just be quiet." Jungkook harshly replied after a few seconds of your asking. You bit your lip and sighed.
After a few more minutes, you rolled your wrists and lightly tugged on your restraints. You wanted to gauge their strength. You tugged harder which caused a creaking sound. Your heart stopped as it creaked and Jungkook rolled his eyes.
"Don't even try struggling." He said while occupied on his phone.

You gulped and nodded your head; however you lightly tugged on it again, wanting to see how tight the knots were. They were very restricting and you felt the pins and needles start to overcome your hands. Jungkook saw your movements and roughly grabbed your wrists with one hand and your throat with another.
"You better listen to me. Stop struggling. We'll be out of here soon so just behave. I don't want to have to deal with you." He said in pure boredom and annoyance.
You nodded your head as much as you were able to since his hand still was on your throat.
He smirked at your obedience and released his grip. Just then, Namjoon had returned into the room with his phone to his ear.
"We'll meet you there." And with that he hung up the phone. "Let's go. They're at the train station." He ordered.
Yoongi had woken up from his nap and grabbed your laptop. He then had noticed the backpack blending into the corner of the room.
He started to rummage through it and saw the money and the gun. "Well, look what we have here. Some cash and a gun? Kids like you shouldn't be playing around with this you know?" He said sarcastically and threw your laptop into your backpack. "Innocent my ass."
"The innocent don't need money and firearms, sweetheart." Namjoon said smugly. "Grab her and let's go."
Jungkook unsecured your binds from the bedpost and then threw you over his shoulder. You went up with a yelp since his large shoulder hurt your abdomen. "Make another sound and I'll put you to sleep. Whichever you prefer."
You listened. Just then, you felt embarrassed being on his shoulder with nothing but your underwear, bra, and a robe that you weren't sure was covering you very well. The material of the robe was also very thin, almost like knock off silk.
You had finally realized that you were still in the hotel but that all changed once they threw you into the back of whatever car they were driving.
The small space and blindness made you tear up in fear and whoever was driving did not make the car ride more pleasant as you continuously rolled around the trunk bed. In this situation, you were too scared to fight back or even call for help. You submitted to the confined space and prayed for the ride to be over already.
After what felt like was forever, the car had stopped completely.
The trunk door opened and you were lifted out once again. You assumed it was the same man, Jungkook, who had dropped you onto the floor and started dragging you. You gave up fighting, knowing that being blind and bound would not do you much good in a fight.
The boys had met up at the train station with the rest of the group. It was a private station since they had brought their own personal train. There was no one around to see this abduction.
"That's the girl you're concerned about?" Jimin had questioned. "She seems no older than Kookie."
Taehyung remarked, "I'm pretty sure she's younger than him."
"Don't judge based off looks." Jin replied.
"Anyways," Namjoon started, "We should get her out of here quickly. This station won't be empty for long and I'm very eager to hear what she has to say. Let's leave now."
The boys followed their orders as they all got into the train car and Jungkook was still dragging you inside. He lifted your arms up so you could dangle from the middle of the train's car.
You mumbled incoherent pleas but were too physically and mentally exhausted to get through. The boys sat around you and you could feel the motion of the train start up and depart.

Of Gods and Dungeons
March 16, 2021 - Hiatus note: I will come back to this story! I'm really struggling with it, though. It's been a number of years and I kind of forgot what the original outline was. I still remember the main path, but not any of the details, because I stupidly didn't write an outline. Progress is being made. I'd like a very decent sized buffer before I start posting again. Don't want to get hopes up only to immediately disappoint! ----- Amy Barnes, an aspiring chemical researcher, finds herself dying from cancer. One of her most desperate prayers is answered in a way that she'd never dreamed possible, and she finds herself living a new life as a dungeon. Warning: Violence, morbidity Cover: Taken from here, courtesy of www.pexels.com by photographer @tookapic. Author's Note: I've read some dungeon core stories on here, and they've tickled my fancy. I've thought up a whole story, start to finish, and thought it'd be a blast to put it into words. Other than the violent and morbid aspects, this story is suitable for children. Aside from the vocabulary, that is. I will avoid the temptation to have any cursing, sexuality, or gore. Excessive gore, I suppose - it is a dungeon story, after all. I’ll do a little research from time to time, but this story will not have a great deal of rigor. I’ve made Amy’s knowledge comparable to my own for that reason. There’s a few things she knows more about than I do, and a few things that she knows less about. Unlike me, she doesn’t have access to Google - it’s a non issue for her to be more knowledgeable than me, on occasion :P This story does not use the same magic system that I’ve used in either Sorcery in Boston or A Summoner’s Confession. This one is mostly intention based, and designed to be easier access for people who are more used to the idea of, “It’s magic, therefore it works” kind of thinking. Do note that Amy is, in most senses of the term, overpowered. This goes along with the usual dungeon core stories. She’s not more powerful than other dungeons per se, but she does have knowledge and intelligence that puts them to shame. I thought about doing this in a LitRPG style, but systems take balance, and I wanted this to be pure fun to write. This story was inspired from a few sources. Despite the title, it wasn’t really inspired by Of Mice and Men, though some of the themes match. Rather, I’ve taken inspiration from a few dungeon core novels on Royal Road Legends for the main idea. Many conventions of dungeon core stories have been perverted from the genre, however. I’ve taken my usual science-loving self to town to play around with the powers, and I can only hope you have half as much fun reading this as I have had writing it.

(Un)Paralleled
Based on the novel by MGHT, Unparalleled. Things are not as they were. In this alternate story, follow our Hero(?) as he traverses the world. But, is this world really the one we know? I will be using MGHT's original story as a guideline, and applying my own touch to it. Due to there being a lack of information on the wider scope of things, I'll be throwing in things that may not adhere to the original author's plans. Then again, what fun is there in reading something that has already been done? Tags and genres stated are subject to change without notice, be it the addition or removal of tags. Cover art is a fanart I found online a long time ago. Character is Gyuki from Nurarihyon No Mago.
