I'd been alone for a while now. I couldn't remember much but I do remember seeing Lockwood and George engulfed by the ghosts. I tried to convince myself that they were fine, but that was impossible. What makes it worse is that Lockwood died not knowing. The letter, he hadn't seen it. He had been clueless. But that's ok because there was no way that he'd want me. Right? So now it was just me.
